In the beginning stages, Lance visited my residence in rural Ohio, a two hour drive, and he was very pleasant to work with. He was knowledgeable and answered all my questions and addressed any concerns I may have had. I could tell Lance enjoyed his line of work and was engaged in the business. That's always a "plus" in my book.
The two visits to Mont Granite were both amazing. The first trip was to decide on the stone. The second was to pick the exact slabs to be installed. The gentleman who assisted me with the slabs was fantastic and so comical. He gave me insight to what I was looking at and to see just a three foot section for the counter. I wish I knew his name. He made the trip! I chose a PERFECT slab specifically for my island then another for the back counter top.
And then scheduling the Install was a project in itself. Since I was not only installing but tearing out walls, repairing plaster, total rewiring, adding lights, moving outlets...whew! - I had to reschedule my install twice. On one account, the installers came a week earlier than the final install date, total miscommunication, and had to drive back because I wasn't ready- or wasn't even home for that matter. I felt bad for their wasted trip and worked with Mike to reschedule one last time.
Install went fairly well. Tyler and his sidekick were great. I had to have my stove top cut out, as well as the holes for the plumbing fixtures. I was warned early on that it would make quite a dusty mess. The installation guys were pretty good with sucking up the dust with a shop vac as they cut. I didn't stick around to watch due to the noisy screech of the saw. But they did a great job. Perfect fit! Tyler even helped me decide the layout for the plumbing fixtures. Of course I had some cleaning to do after they left but that was expected due to the fine dust. Tyler ran through a check list with me and everything looked great.
...and then...DEEP BREATH...
A couple weeks later I found a crack in front of my sink on the Island...the PERFECT piece of slab I picked specifically for that space. Upon inspection, I could tell it happened during fabrication due to the glue residue used to initially fix it. I called Quarry and left a message for Mike. He was extremely quick to respond and I remember his exact words..."we need to get out to your place to make this right, or we'll replace the slab". Wow- !! This company stands behind their work! I knew they were pretty busy due to all my rescheduling but Mike had two guys out within a week . Honestly, I loved that slab so much, I would've been heartbroken to have to replace it. But they guys repeatedly sealed, polished and buffed for almost two hours on a 4 inch section- and I can't feel a thing! They did an amazing job. If I get eye level, in the right light, I can still see the crack but everyone else who knew about can't find it.
Overall, I'm a proud home owner with the most beautiful kitchen thanks in part to Quarry Granite. In the distance future, I plan on using them again for my bath rooms.

When I tell them I have also since found that we definitely could have put in a gas furnace( upon checking with other furnace installers) that I originally purchased they just ignore the issue totally. They continue to tell me nothing is wrong with the new furnace and the Manager Buddy Eubanks will not return my calls when I want to take my case further. A $720.00 electric bill in a 1400 sq ft well insulated home is NOT normal at any time especially the winter of 2012 which went down on record as one of the the mildest winters. The bills continue to be high ($465.00, etc.) and we also had an issue of the heat pump freezing up at the end of the 2012 season, they looked at it and told me it was fine and that the defrost cycle would switch on and take care of it, March 2011 turned warm, the heat pump defrosted and that was the end of it until Dec. 2013, the heat pump was out of warranty for labor and I had to have Sears return as it froze again with the first cold weather and it needed 2 parts which were covered but we had paid $259.00 in labor for something that should have been taken care of in Mar. 2011. Per Steve Borod, Manager in Home Improvement Dept., we could not prove that the part needed replaced in 2011. Next problem was the furnace was unable to keep up with the temp set on the thermostat. Set at 69 degrees and on cold nights/mornings the furnace was at 64 degrees and took all morning to get up to temp.
There are other issues as well that they will not address. The installer, Smith Heating and Cooling, was very nice, professional and responsive on installation and with the high heat bills issue to come look at the furnace in the beginning but when it came to problems or solutions they continually said nothing was wrong. You would have thought that everyone had $720.00 heat bills.
My husband and I have dealt with Sears for many years (in our 70's now) and put our trust in the Sears name on this very expensive project and have been totally let down. Will never deal with Sears again as it apparent they do NOT stand behind their subcontractors and no one wants to take responsibility for any issues what so ever.

Highly recommend using them. Prompt responses and installers were great. Mike was super helpful and checked to make sure I was happy with the work at completion.
Greene's Plumbing went above and beyond my expectations. I needed a heavier gauge electric feed for the bigger hot water tank. Greene's plumbing installed new electric feed free of charge. the quality of their work was better than what I had with the previous hot water tank. I would highly...
Andrew diagnosed a board failure, and also determined that our furnace was unsafe to operate - not a surprise given the facts that it's 25 years old, and is installed in a damp crawlspace. We made arrangements with CJS to replace our furnace and our failed AC.
Good except the wrong thickness drywall was installed. Repair guy was it told he was fixing "ceiling" drywall.
First of all, let me give you a brief autobiography of myself. I am meticulous, very detailed and a believer that if you want something done right- you do it yourself. So, though I had carried a business card from Quarry Granite for almost 4 years, obviously i was hesitant...and obviously-...

Just as my business name states I truly am a Jill of all trades. If I can't do the job I will be 100% honest and let you know I am cheaper than most in the industry because I know what it's like to struggle. I'm not looking to be a millionaire I'm looking to help those in need! So for your next project contact me!
"My experience began with a brush removal booking through Angie, but Jill later contacted me to do the job directly for the same price. I should have picked up on the ethically deficient sign. Despite my concerns about her distance from my location and lack of a site visit, she assured me it was fine. After working for two hours, Jill asked for double her original quote. When I refused and asked her to honor her commitment, she completed part of the job and insisted on payment, though the work was subpar and unprofessional – see pics. I recommend detailing your project thoroughly and getting everything in writing before hiring Jill."

"First of all I would like to point out that Koby was very generous and respectful, something a lot of young adults lack, and spoke very well. Handyman and construction
Handyman and construction
The average cost to hire a handyman ranges from about $40 to $140 per hour. Average project cost ranges between $180 and $700, but the cost per hour and per project depends heavily on the type, size, and complexity of the project. The pro’s experience level and your location also factor into how much a handyman charges per hour or per project. You can also expect to pay higher rates or additional fees for emergency services, or around periods of high customer demand, like holidays.
If your TV antenna is good quality and was installed by a professional, you can expect it to last between 10 and 20 years without needing repair or replacement. This can vary based on your geographic location, weather conditions, and antenna location.
The cost to repair your TV antenna is around $200 for the average homeowner. However, charges could be as low as $60 or as high as $450. Factors such as multidirectional or unidirectional, indoor or outdoor, and amplified or non-amplified all play an essential role in determining the cost of your repair. For example, outdoor antennas cost more on average to repair than indoor ones, much like amplified antennas cost more to repair than unamplified ones.
Yes, you should hire a handyman who’s licensed, certified, and insured, if possible. States have different requirements for handyman licensing, registration, and certifications. If licensing is required in your area, you may pay more for a licensed handyman with experience than one who is not licensed or certified, but you’re likely to get a better end result for your project. Be sure to check our state licensing tool to review the local handymen guidelines.
Before your TV antenna stops working, there are a few ways to tell it’s starting to break. Some common signs that your antenna needs repair include:
A repetitive “no signal” issue
A redundant “searching” issue
Increased signal issues during a cloudy or rainy day
A sudden drop in signal strength, regardless of the weather
If you’re experiencing these problems, you’ll want to ensure that your cables are still in good shape and have not deteriorated. In addition, check to make sure that your cables are firmly in place at the wall outlet. Finally, check the position of your antenna to ensure there are no obstructions in its path. If you’ve checked your antenna thoroughly and are still having these problems, a repair is most likely needed by an antenna technician.
