First they ordered tge wrong door. They charged me 200 dollars more than they quoted me. Currently they just finished and the gap is so large i can stick 4 fingers in at the largest area where its not flush against the wall. Also they scratched and chipped the door putting it in. When I called home depot they said we will let someone know and try to see if there is something we can do Monday.

We recently went to Home Depot to purchase a new dishwasher. The sales staff and manager in Rocky River store were friendly and professional. We were able to locate and purchase the dishwasher that we wanted and scheduled delivery for the following Saturday. On the Friday evening before the delivery we received a phone call informing us of the block of time that the delivery was to be made (between 9am and 2pm). I was working that morning, but my wife was there. At 9 am she received a call informing her that she was the 7th delivery for the day and that a path needed to be cleared of snow to allow for the appliance to be brought in. A path had been cleared at approximately 6am, but the snow continued to come down pretty hard. My wife, seven months pregnant, bundled up our two year old and herself and went out to shovel the path clear again (still cold and snowing hard). Within thirty minutes of the 9am call, the delivery showed up. She was informed that a path had to be cleared from the street to the door and they would not back in the driveway. She then began to attempt to shovel the driveway by herself and they further stated that they would not wait and she would have to reschedule the delivery. She pleaded with them to wait 10-20 minutes for her to finish shoveling the driveway or come back later. They refused and left. These men had no issue watching an obviously pregnant woman, with 2 year old in tow, exhausting herself attempting to shovel a path for them. She cried and pleaded with them to no avail. I am a firefighter working across town and was unable to break away to help her. While I understand the policy's intent to protect those moving these heavy appliances in slippery conditions, they made no effort to assist or work with her in any way to assure the safety of both themselves and their customer. There callousness and disregard for her well being has left me extremely irate. I further question Home Depot's ability to handle situations when delivering to other pregnant women, the elderly or disabled.
I contacted the manager of the Rocky River Home Depot and informed him of the situation. I requested and received a full refund of my returned purchase and was offered a gift card for our troubles. The manager was sincerely apologetic. I do not believe that Home Depot directly delivers or installs these appliances but was not provided with the name of the contractor. I made multiple attempts to locate the name of the service provider but was ultimately informed by Home Depot corporate that that information was not available to me. While this review should not reflect the individual store or it's associates, the overall responsibility for the conduct and behavior of the delivery personnel falls on Home Depot. For that reason, I will not be utilizing the gift card nor will I ever shop at Home Depot again.

I had scheduled an in-home floor measurement for a laminate floor installation using their online scheduling system 4 days before the scheduled measure date. I received 3 email confirmations for the date of measurement. On the day of scheduled measurement, I did not receive a phone call between 7-9 am to confirm a timeframe (as stated in the confirmation instructions). We had called both the Macedonia store and the 1-800 number for the scheduling. No one could give us information about the scheduled measurement. Apparently the measure was not assigned to anyone. I was told I will be called back to be given an update but received none. I had to call 6 times without any helpful information until finally I cancelled the measurement and asked for a refund of the payment. Not one associate apologized for the poor service and inconvenience.

What I really liked was their warranty. Not only did LG give a year warranty; they also added an additional two-year warranty. That's the reason we chose them over other companies. They also matched the sale price of another place while having a better warranty. The workers were very helpful. They answered questions. I shopped around, went to a couple places, and came back.

They did a good job and I was well pleased. I thought it was a good deal, the price included the installation. The installers were quite courteous and quite efficient, I was concerned because some of them were quite young but they did a good job. I think they were quite interested in getting me the information I was seeking and any way they could help me.

The back splash-both sides were cut an 1/8 of an inch short. The brand new faucet was installed crooked, and is leaking. The drain to the toilet is the wrong size so it loops around and is not attractive. The have not corrected any of the problems. They required payment up front so I paid them them up front because I figured they were a decent company, but it has turned out to be a headache. I've been speaking with one person who says they are working on it but nothing has been done.

WE PUT TOGETHER A COMPLETE CLOSET ORGANIZATION SYSTEM USING ITEMS SUPPLIED BY HOME DEPOT. WE FOUND THEIR ''MILL'S PRIDE'' BRAND TO BE VERY STURDY AND AESTHETIC. THE MODULAR PIECES FIT TOGETHER WELL AND WILL ACCOMMODATE CLOSET AREAS OF DIFFERENT SIZES.
