Description of Work: Quality of windows is great, we bought the Vantage 6100 which is a highly rated Simonton window. Crew was punctual and finished in one day. Only negative about the installation, while they were applying the caulk on the outside they blocked some of the weep holes that let water out. Clean up was very good except for a small amount of sawdust left from some wood they had cut. Biggest complaint was the experience we had paying the balance. I had met the sales rep at the Grove City Store, he came to our house in Grove City but he set the account up through the Sawmill Store. When I went to the GC store to pay, they couldn't access the account since it belonged to another store. I had to travel to the Sawmill store - 20 miles one way - to pay the balance even though I never visited that store. So if someone uses Home Depot make sure it is set up in your local store.

+ 0 moreSee above. Home services employee working on this customers' request for new windows a liability to Home Depot. Would be glad to discuss with Home Depot management.
Description of Work: Requested in home estimate of all wood Jen-Weld windows in late May 2014. Appointment made for 28 May. Measurements taken. Customer requested written quote. No quote received, either verbal or written. Returned to store 8 June. Was told would receive phone call that evening. Did not receive a call. Late June went to a different store and explained still waiting for quote. In home service personnel called and was told quote coming soon. Was Given excuse of having to get prices from manufacturer. Now 20 July, still no quote or phone call.

+ -1 moreThey were really good and the price was wise than anybody else. It went really well. We love them. They've done really good work for us. We had a problem initially but they were great about fixing it. Their workmen were terrific. They're very efficient and clean and they wanted everything to be perfect. They're pleasant and they're all around good guys. Some people hesitate to go to Home Depot but I would not hesitate to go to Home Depot.
Description of Work: I used the hardware & home improvement stores service of Home Depot Home Services. They did the countertops and install the marble floor in the bathroom.

I had to wait a VERY LONG time to get warranty b/c staff apparently were not trained on how to enter pertinent info. into computer so that I could receive my warranty. I had to ask more than once to speak with manager b/c I worked a long shift that day and needed to go home.

+ -1 moreOn Home Depot, their in store representatives were poor but the contractors who did the work were great. The (in store) people in that department were not very cooperative. I would not go to Home Depot again for blind work.
