SHARPENING ON SITE

Rebecca, the person who did the sharpening, explained various techniques to me about sharpening knives or keeping knives sharp at home. She showed me what "damage" to my knives were caused by the inexpensive sharpener that I use at home. After she sharpened our objects, she placed the knives in paper sleeves, and she instructed me to wash the knives and pizza cutter before I use them. Rebecca was pleasant, and the knives, garden shears, and pizza cutter are wonderful to use, now that they are sharp.

Becky brought her "shop on wheels" to my home. I had to many blades that needed sharpened to take them to a shop. This is a very convenient service. I used my pruners and loper this past weekend and they cut like new again !

Rebecca called to say she would be a bit late. She cleaned and sharpened a knife.

Great service. She returned my call promptly, kept me updated on time of arrival and then reversed years and years of neglect on a garage full of garden tools. I would have hated to collect, load, drag, and mess with a trunk full of everything from spades and hoes to knives and scissors. I most appreciated her successful sharpening/repair of a pair of very expensive scissors after many unsuccesful attempts by many people over many years. YOU GO GIRL. I will definitely call again and highly recommend her company.

Sharpening on Site returned my service call promptly and scheduled a date. I left my knives on the porch and they were completed and left on my back porch at the time specified.

She took the knives, and scissors out to her truck, worked about 1 1/2 hours. Bought them back to the house completely sharp, and each one filed in a safety sleeve. I have used her several times.

All items were cleaned, polished and sharpened like new. I will be calling them again to sharpen more items from my home. Very .happy with Sharpening on Site they brought to my door a service that makes taking care of my home easier. Great people to work with.

They were very busy in June but responsible enough to call me to reschedule for the week following my first appointment.

I've had most of these Wusthof knives for 11 years and owned one for 33 years. They are like new! Rebecca did a fabulous job putting new edges on these old friends. Food prep is much more fun now . . . I feel like one of the Food Network stars! I prepared short ribs recently, and cutting the fat out of the meat was so much easier. I've used Sharpening on Site for years, well before it changed owners. It's always been an excellent service, and that tradition continues.

He was timely, professional, and did a great job overall! He did a thorough cleaning and a wonderful job of sharpening. I would certainly use him again, if necessary.

She did an excellent job. She cleaned them for us. She was very friendly. She told us how to clean and keep them working well. She didn't try to do them while we were standing there, she took a couple hours and had them ready on our return.

Louise did her usual excellent job. All my blades now have sharp edges again. She's easy to work with, dependable and neat.

She removed the rust, oiled it and sharpened it. She also gave me recommendations on how to maintain it. Her price was very fair. I will use her again in the Spring.

I have used Louise's services for several years now. She regularly sharpens all of our knives and even sends a yearly reminder when it's time to service them again. She has also saved a few garden tools that spent too much time in the rain. She is prompt for the appointment, returns the knives in nice cardboard holders, her work is excellent and I think the price is very fair. We will continue to call her for regular sharpening and if we need any other work.

Louise was punctual and spent 6 hours working on all the items I had gathered. She is very thorough, professional and friendly. If something is not worth paying to have sharpened Louise will tell you. She asks questions regarding what some items were used for in order to determine how they should be sharpened. Items were taken apart, soaked, cleaned and wiped down whenever possible. A number of items look brand new. Louise really knows her trade.

Louise was onsite outside of Sears just as her website indicated, promptly before 9am. We got there early, just as she instructed, as we had multiple items to sharpen. Before 2pm, she called to let us know we could pick up our items. She was very knowledgeable about all types of fasteners and stampings, indicating the quality of the pieces and how to care for them. She even provided suggestions on the best types of tree trimmers that we should invest in.

Excellent service. Professional and reasonably priced. I can't believe we tolerated those dull kitchen knives so long!

She is an expert! My tools just sparkled when she finished sharpening them. She knows how to restore rusted and dull edges of pruners, shovels, and any gardening/kichen tools one might have. I have used her services in the past and will call her again when my gardening tools will need sharpening. She also very knowlegable about trees and shrubs.

If you need anything sharpened, I would recommend her. In addition to knives, scissors, and mowers, she does all gardening equipment, construction equipment, and chain saws.

I liked that they were going to be at an event that I was attending. I was able drop off the items and they made that they called when they were done.

The company has a new owner. I have used Sharpen On Site a few times. I like the service because they will come out to the house (while one is at work!) The new owner sharpened my reel mower but it wasn't working properly, so I called her to let her know. She felt so bad, she came out that day (which was a Saturday) and worked on the mower again. I thought her customer service was excellent and she was delightful. By the time she finished working on my mower, it was running better than ever. The adjustments were perfect and I truly felt as if I had been given a new mower! I was very happy with the results.

They did very good quality work. They came to my home and did everything. They scheduled an appointment to my convenience. They had great service and they were very professional. The price that they gave me was reasonable.

She came when she said she would and worked for 5 hours. Our knives are the sharpest they have ever been. She also gave us a lot of tips to keep our thing sharp.

Fabulous! Louise was terrific to deal with and a perfectionist who spent many hours putting new edges on our equipment. She repaired bent tips and gouged metal, and cleaned and oiled the gardening tools. I hadn't had anything sharpened for a years, and now our knives and gardening tools are like new. She also took the time to give me a valuable tip on hedge trimming and taught me how to clean and oil our electric hedge trimmer (even gave me a wire brush!).
