Able Roofing

When the service first started they were extremely professional. They powerwashed the roof and they also installed gutters on the roof. I would refer them to anyone who is in need of roof repairs

They were excellent. They were top notch. They cleaned up and did everything I asked of them. There was no damage to anything. Jesse worked for 6 months with my insurance and the shingle people to get this new roof put on. I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

My original report gave the company an overall F grade. After Dave Tuttle came by to look at the problems created, things were fixed and we are now happy with the work done by ABLE. I would still not use this company, things just didn't go the way they should. But Mr. Tuttle made certain that everything was done to my satisfaction. He was understanding, he listened and agreed that things were handled poorly. He advised that they are revamping the communication system. I hope that future clients don't have to go through what we did. But Dave made certain that we were happy with the work.

It should never have taken over 4 years to resolve this leaking/damage to my home situation. I find this to be unprofessional that Able did not listen to my late husband and my valid concerns, which, after Able & Ross Appledorn, finally investigated the roof damage & interior damage in the Fall of 2007, that was begun to correctly repair the interior & exterior areas of my home. I understand my experience is now used as a "training tool" at Able, per Ross, that any further repeats of any customer's "disasters" will not be tolerated by Able Roofing. This should have been a give at this company. No customer should have to deal with approximately 30 service calls, 5 years. Ceiling repair took 4 different service calls. It resulted in a visit to this site by the general manager of Able, Scott Beard, by mid-February, 2008. We (think) the repairs are done.

Greg came out, checked the requirements, and gave us an estimate for the work. We selected the stone material for the job and Able handled the rest. Josh did a fantastic job installing the stone and doing the masonry work. We were kept apprised of all stages of the project and how it would proceed.

Very polite & timely. Minimal debris left. Minimal damage to landscape.

Ken arrived early. He was polite, put covers on his shoes when entering the house, listened carefully, and went on the roof to investigate. When he finished, he showed me digital photos of the problem areas and described how he completed his repairs. Unfortunately, the original installers had forgotten to complete some caulking that allowed water in from an ice dam. Everything was covered under warranty. We discussed other questions I had about maintenance and possible future projects involving work on the roof. Ken is an excellent representative for Able and I will consider them for future business based on his work today.

They had my roof done in a day and a half. They were reliable, gave me an honest quote, and did the job well.

Everything went surprisingly well. It took the workers several trips to find the leak, but they eventually found it and got it all sealed up. They did a lot of work during the visits and I was happy to when it was finished. I didn't have to pay a dime. I was really happy that they completely honored their warranty. I was happy that the previous owner purchased from Able.

Had a leak around the chimney. Saw cracks in the crown. Called Able. Salesman looked at problem, took pictures of roof and chimney, and consulted with his manager. Said I needed a saddle as well as a new crown. I signed a contract for $1300. When weather finally permitted work, workman called and said that he could not do a saddle because of ridge vents. We agreed that he would do just the crown. Three days later I was cleaning gutters and discovered that the crown had been replaced. I was never away from home for more than 1 hour at a time, so job must have taken less than 1 hour. $1000 seems high to me.

They were prompt in doing the work outside and also sent a painter to repair the inside. It was all covered under the original contract. They scheduled the work quickly and did a great job on the repair. You can't even see the watermark anymore.

They did a good job on the roof, but they needed to leave at least one English speaking worker for communication.

They did the work around February 2005. During the work, they tore almost every screen on the house. I had to take them all down and have them all replaced. They did pay for some of the screens though. Other than the screen problem we had with them, the work they did was great. The guarantee on the siding is good until 2009. During this Summer, some neighbor's kids threw balls at the siding and they (Able Roofing) came out and replaced it for us, free of charge. I would possibly use them again in the future, as long as they would be responsible for any damage they did.

They were supposed to start on a Monday. When I returned home at 3PM, they were still working on the first skylight, which leads me to believe they hadn't been there that long. At 5 PM they cleaned up for the day, of which they did a good job of and then informed us that they would not be back the next day but would return on Wednesday. This did not make us happy nor did the fact that they left one ladder still in place leading to the second floor bathroom, and another ladder in place leading to the master bedroom. Wednesday, at 9AM, they had not yet returned so I called the company inquiring when they would be there. The next day was Thanksgiving which means if they didn't finish Wed. we'd be dragging this out even longer. The gal at Able said she'd track them down and they eventually showed up at 10AM. They completed the job by 5PM, cleaned up nicely and left.

Jim Zoller, the salesman and my contact through the whole process, really helped me and was very accommodating. He also gave me a lot opportunities to be a part of the process by picking out materials and color, etc. They were very receptive with me be a part of it all. It was a pleasure to work with him and his crew. It was very hot out there on the roof and they did a superb job. I would use them again.

There were 5 people who came out to do the job and only one of them spoke little English. That's the only complaint that I had.

On the day of the appointment I waited, waited and waited. I called the office and spoke to some who said they would get back to me after I told her that he never showed up. She never called me back and he never showed up.

Before we used them and after 25 years, we were about ready to just throw concrete down the chimney. I was so impressed with them because we've had so many other companies out to repair our chimney but their job actually worked. The manager was quite knowledgeable and gave us three or four different options to go with. He guaranteed at least two of the options. We picked one of the options he guaranteed. The manager did a really great job and we haven't had any leaks in the roof since.

Able did a wonderful job, I was impressed from the day I met with the salesman. He was very knowledgeable and gave us information that the others did not mention. They did such a great job cleaning up too. When they left - there was not a visible sign that they were even here. I was worried about the nails everywhere after the roof was installed, but there was not a nail anywhere. The guys who installed the siding worked very hard and also did a great job of cleaning up. Gutter guys left a few nails but nothing to complain about. I was just pleased from beginning to end and would recommend Able to everyone.

They were excellent and their price was excellent and they did a good job.

They stand behind their name and I enjoyed their service.

THERE WORK WAS SHODDY. I HAD TO HAVE THEM COME BACK AT LEAST 3 TIMES, AND I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.

They did have a little problem at first but then corrected it. They did a really good job and I would use them again. They were very dependable throughout the entire process.

They replaced the roof with 3D shingles. They tore out everything. Left the area very clean afterwords. They didn't destroy anything, they did a good job! The flashing and everything is great!

The roof/siding and gutters were suppose to be done before Christmas. The work was now just finished last week. No show and no call on several occasions. They have canceled on us 5 times. We are now having problems getting them to come out and do the siding and gutters.
