Molloy Roofing

The work was done earlier than they promised. The representative from Molloy was professional and very knowledgeable. He made the repairs quickly and explained the problems clearly and identified potential future solutions if leaking recurred.

The experience went very well. They were very courteous, and very prompt. They gave me what I felt like an honest evaluation of the situation. They took care of it right at the time.

The work was completed in a very proper and quick manner. The price was very reasonable and they did not try to upsell any additional and unnecessary products. When I did have a question, the staff was very responsive in addressing concerned and ensuring my satisfaction. I have experienced no problems with my roof since. They did a very good job!

Their bid was the best we found. They told us up front everything they were going to do. They were also very honest with us. They were very prompt and really cleaned up after themselves. They were also really helpful and gave advice just to help us with our skylighting.

They were very slow responding. I had already signed a contract with another roofing company by the time they got back to us.

I thought there was a leak in the roof and they found the problem and recaulked it. I thougtht they were very helpful and did a good job. They came when they said they would and did not leave a mess.

I was not home for the installation, but everything looks well.

I called and was told this was their busy season and they would call me when it was my turn for service. They called sooner than reported, they came out and took a look around, one guy started to clean my gutters immediately, the other guy walked with me through the house to determine where the leak was coming in from, this was a tough call, and he told me so upfront. He told me he was fairly certain it was in a certain location, even though, from the outside, it didn't seem like it, he patched the area and they left. No hard sell, no talk of redoing the whole roof, no scare tactics. Just straight answers, decent price, friendly people. So far, it seems as if he was correct, as we have had heavy rains, but I see no signs of water infiltration.

When the repair person came the first time, it was snowing heavily so the repair was an emergency one. On the second visit, the work was more extensive and involved replacing some shingles. Molloy would certainly be my choice should I need other roofing work done.

I found them on Angie's List, they were highly recommended. They were on time and completed the work within an hour. They cleaned up after. The price was reasonable.

I was surprised at the price. They nailed the shingle back. It took them a minute.

Same as above horrible. I will try this list one more time, but if I get the same type of experience I will ask for a refund of dues. I can get this type of service on my own without "Angie's" help! This Company should have a much lower rating. If getting a quote on simple repair was this hard, I can only imagine how bad the work would be.

Roofing company responded to my original phone call with in the time frame, the company representative explained. Two company service men examined the roof and provided me with a listing of the work needed. (I am unable to get on the roof.) They explained my choices. They explained the costs. They were able to preform the repairs immediately. They were courteous, professional and competent.

I was getting water in my house and in my basement around the chimney and I was told it could be my flashing. Molloy came out to inspect it and give an estimate. They recognized that the problem was the chimney cap and chimney liner. They informed me that I would be best served to go with a masonry or chimney company. Before leaving, they did seal the chimney cap to help in the meantime - no charge! I was surprisingly shocked that Dave Molloy called me a few days later after reviewing the work order and based on the description he wanted to make sure his guys hadn't missed something. After explaining what the chimney repair guy said and what his guys told me, he re-affirmed that everything sounded like it was well on its way to being taken care of. When I had first called for the appointment they said they were working at about 3 weeks out, but would call me if they had a cancellation. Within two days I got a phone call that they had a cancellation for the next day if I would want to take it. I had never heard of anyone ever calling back to make sure I was given the correct advice. I was very impressed and felt very good about the people I had called to look at my roof. I will definitely call them if/when I need a roof repair!

We had a roof leak (and basement leak) during a severe amount of rain. They came out within a couple days, (other places said it would be several weeks because of severe rain caused a lot of issues). Through inspection and some quick replacement of some flashing and sealing, not only did it fix the roof leak but also corrected the problem with the leaking in the basement.(Some bent flashing was forcing the rainwater into the walls.) I was very pleased.

It went fine overall. Because the job was started during January, the work was slowed a little by extreme cold, and was interrupted by some snowy and icy conditions, but the work looks nice. Apparently, the roofers installed 150 linear feet of 1" x 6" sheathing at various points of the roof. They charged $329.50 more for that work, which we thought seemed fair. Given that our roof is steeply-pitched in places, has a turret, etc. it was probably not an easy job, but the roofers appear to have done it well.

When I first called they said they were backed up but they came over within 3 days and did the work. So far we have not had any more leaks. They also provided an assessment on the condition of the roof and provided advice on timing for a replacement. They worked quickly and efficiently.

Work was done quickly & very well. When I called on Friday they said they were booked a week out, but they would fit us in. They fixed the roof the next day.

They did a really good job. I have since hired them for another job.

The overall job went very well. The Molly people were polite, listened attentively, and even checked another problem I thought I might have with my roof (thankfully I did not). They then quickly and efficiently fixed the problem, within 20 minutes.

Call to get an estimate. The operator stated the estimator would be call to schedule an appointment. Three days later (while I was scheduled to meet another contractor) the estimator shows up at the house. Fortunately, I happened to be there - so I could tell me exactly what I wanted (i.e., replacing skylights, type, etc.). Quote arrived in the mail. VERY detailed quote. Best detail of all the quotes. The price was competitive with other quality contractors. In the end I went with the contractor my friend used and recommended. I'm sure I would have been happy with the finished product. I was just a little disappointed the estimator did not call ahead.

The estimate was about $125. They came out when they said they would & did a good job. They were very polite & very professional. As soon as they got here, one person was at my door and the other was setting up a ladder. I was very happy with my experience with them.

The quality of work on the roof I can't see the work but I assumed that it is okay.
