Their prices were reasonable. Their schedule was not accomodating for the work that needed to be done. It was a timing issue with the gutter cleaning scheduling, they wanted to do all their clients in the same week. I will use this company again depending on their schedule for gutter cleaning in the future.

Molloy Roofing company is one of those firms that you can really trust. I have dealt with Molloy in the past -- and even met w/Dave Molloy -- and this is a company that will go far beyond the extra mile to deliver customer satisfaction and quality craftsmanship. Our home is a 1938 Tudor Revival/English Cottage style house. Most of our gutters were still the original galvanized steel versions installed during the home's construction 71 years ago, and I decided that we needed to ensure proper rainwater drainage by replacing them with new aluminum gutters and downspouts. Molloy came out to the house on several occassions (at my request) to survey the situation and determine what we needed. Since our home has a steeply-pitched tile roof, they told us that 6" gutters and 4" downspouts was the way to go for the front and back because this is where the majority of water run-off occurs. We (well, maybe just me!) hemmed & hawed about the best placement for downspouts, but I finally gave them the go-ahead early in the year and the work was scheduled for late September, early-to-mid October (these guys are VERY busy!) Jess Whitaker was my contact/estimator in the main office -- and he patiently responded to my (all-too-frequent) calls and e-mails about the particulars of the job (I'm a crazy perfectionist when it comes to work done on my home!). He knew exactly which of their craftsman to send to our home -- and I couldn't be happier with the work they performed. Ryan was the foreman for my job -- and his assistant was Scotty. Ryan is an incredibly precise craftsman -- his work is truly his art -- and he & Scotty went to great lengths to get the job just right. Recently, I got an up-close look at their work -- and I was impressed with all apsects of it. Molloy used all top-of-the-line materials, including the heaviest residential aluminum (.032" thick) Alcoa gutters. Ryan took his time to first understand what was needed and then to craft the perfect solutions. I'm always trying to learn about how the house works and the best practices for repair, so of course I bugged Ryan and Scotty with alot of questions. They took it all in stride -- and you couldn't ask for a couple of nicer guys. Personable and willing to answer whatever questions you might have, they are the perfect representatives for such a well-respected establishment like Molloy Roofing. We were also having the house painted as soon as the new gutters and downspouts were complete -- and weather sort of made the 2 contractors overlap. Ryan & Scotty took it all in stride, even working with the painters to allow for priming of the fascia after the old gutters were removed and before the new ones were installed. I have always tried to live by the idea that if "something is worth doing, then it's worth doing right" -- and Ryan & Scotty are the perfect example of that. They worked hard the entire time they were here and the results are terrific! Investing in your home is a serious decision, and I am always comfortable investing in work performed by companies such as Molloy.

They did not need me to be home for the estimate, so they came out while I was away from home. I was out of town for about a week, but when I got back to them they were very nice and told me not to worry about rushing with the work. They left me a note that they had been out to look at the work and they would get back to me about the estimate. It was very convenient that I did not have to be home when they came out. I have no complaints about them.

This was an excellent experience overall. The crew was friendly and informative. They cleaned everything up at the end of every day. The roof looks terrific and I'm completely satisfied.

They came when they said they would come. They hand nailed the roof and did the work exactly the way I wanted them to do. They also gave good suggestions for ventilation. Their pricing was a little higher than other companies but the quality of their work was very good. They also cleaned up after themselves. I get a lot of compliments about my roof.

It took them a little while to get out here and do the work. I think their price was fair. They were honest with what they could and couldn't do for me. I would use them again.

They scheduled me for July, but was delayed because of frequent rains (which my tomatoes loved). When they did come, worked conscientiously, even redoing a back awning a handyman had done, they also cleaned up after-wards.

We are very pleased with their work and the system has worked well in the recent rains.

I was impressed with the estimator. He was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my questions very thoroughly. They said it would be 10 to 12 weeks before they could do the work. Around week 11, they just showed up one Monday morning without any notice. This annoyed my wife. When she asked about it, they said it was their standard policy to not pre-announce when they are coming because too many people try to reschedule. I guess they need free reign to start at a moment's notice when the weather is OK. The work was done amidst stormy weather, which slowed them down a bit. Even with the roof half off, the tar paper withstood one inch of rain. I thought that was pretty good. They cleaned up at the end of each day very well. I mowed the lawn the evening after the tear off and I did not have to pick up much material. The esitmator and foreman were extremely professional. The roofers themselves were salty with their language (not to us, but overheard by my wife), but hey, they're roofers so I expect this. At the end of the job, the foreman did a final review and he was not completely satisfied. He noticed a lot of things I never did, even though I can be pretty picky. I really appreciated their own quality control process. They held themselves to VERY high standards. They did not wait for me to complain. A stray cigarette b*** burned a small hole in my deck chair. They apologized profusely and reimbursed me for the damage no questions asked. Bottom line: You will get a very high quality roof with these guys. I never got any other esitmates, but from talking to my neighbors I think the price was at least competitive. The only reason I gave a C for punctuality was because they started the job unannounced. That didn't really bother me too much, but my wife didn't like it.

Molloy Roofing did some major gutter work for us last year before we joined Angie's list. Excellent work on a big older house for a fair price. This summer I noticed some seepage that I thought might be related to the work they did and called to ask them to come out and look at it. I couldn't tell if it was a warranty issue or something else. I called on Thursday, Gary called me on Friday around 10:30, and he was at my house at 12:30 to look. He remembered last year's work. I expected him to take a look see and let me know if this was warranty work or something new that needed to be done. To my slight surprise he sealed some things adjacent to but not directly related to the gutter work from last year and explained some of the problems he saw with the addition/deck this work was done around. He said that they could do the siding work he felt needed to be but recommended we find a siding company because they would have to charge more due to differing insurance rates. I asked what I owed for the trip and work and he said "no charge.' I'm pleased. That's two excellent experiences with Molloy Roofing over the past year or so. I used other roofers in the past at an older house, but Molloy is now my roofing company of choice.

They are a little slow with the billing because it has been three weeks since they did the work, but the overall experience has been good. The people who came out were very cordial. They did a good job and got out within 3-4 days. They are quoting a gutter job for me now. They have been slow in giving me a quote for that and I have been waiting for sometime.

Molloy did an excellent job on my new roof and box gutters. Everyone who came to my house was courteous and professional. In addition, when I had a concern about a possible area of continued leaking, they were very responsive and addressed the situation immediately. (Turned out to be moisture continuing to wick through plaster as opposed to a leak.)

I'm just crazy about them. They're not afraid to work on our 100 year old three story house. They are roofers, so their punctuality is a little lacking.

Contractor told me they would be by to look at the roof the next day and would call if there were any problems related to my request to replace the shingles only. After completing the work, they left notice of what had been done.

Called Molloy to schedule a service. This was very easy. The person answering the phone told me that they were about 1.5 weeks out in terms of scheduling. We did not need to be home. Within a week (exceeded expectations), Molloy dropped by, cleaned all of our gutters, did some minor repair of our downspouts, and left a detailed invoice with the miscellaneous items they addressed. Painless and effective process. I'll be calling them from now on.

My wife was very happy with their job. They didn?t leave any mess around. My wife said that they were well staffed, very punctual and did a great job.

The men got right on the job and worked between rain & wind. Everything was done professionally. My yard was left very clean. A supervisor returned & checked all work.

Molloy Roofing Company did a fine job. I definitely used them becuase they are endorsed by Angie's List. They cleaned up after themselves. The pricing was certainly reasonable. They recommended roof vents which has been very beneficial. Molloy Roofing Company was very punctual and professional.

They did get back to me, but because my problem was not an emergency they recommended that I call again in 4 to 5 weeks. I ended up doing the work myself, but I appreciated their responsiveness.

The only real disappointment was that they could not get to me for 2 weeks. In the meantime my brother-in-law, who works in construction, did the work that he thought was the problem. I felt that I still needed a professional roofer to come look and make sure that was the problem, much to my brother-in-laws disappointment. I heard them on the roof say "Well, her brother-in-law did fix it" They were very honest and told me that later. The problem was the leak finally had made it's way to my living room ceiling, and part of the ceiling fell to the floor. Theone man did crawl up into the roof through the hole in my ceiling to make sure there was no water still there. Overall I would use them again if my problem was not so bad and part of my living room ceiling was laying on the floor. I have a 70+ yr. old house, and my roof is the original asbestos slate tile, so if it can't be fixed it would cost me huge amounts of money to have the old roof removed (most expensive part), so I appreciated their honesty. They did still charge me $185.00, I think, but that was a lot better than thousands. I am writing this report almost 9 months later, the work was done in 2008. I appreciated their honesty and their professionalism greatly. They were checking everything for at least an hour or more.

The workers there took less than a day to finish the project. They did what they said they were going to at the price they were going to do it, which was nice. The customer service reps were nice and gave me an honest quote. If needed, I would use their services again in the future.
