Molloy Roofing

We had an area of water damage on our kitchen ceiling and another on our living room ceiling from a roof leak. They scheduled my appointment only 1 week after I called. They assessed my attic and roof to and estimated the cost at $250 and were able to complete the repairs that day. Another company had quoted $1500 and included into the estimate other areas of repair to the roof that were not causing the leaking. I explained my concern to the roofer - if there were other areas that were damaged I would want them repaired before they too caused interior leaking (the other company also included an estimate to replace the chimney cap). The roofer stated he did not see any other areas requiring repair other than the chimney cap (but they were not causing the leak) and if I wanted it repaired he may have to return for an additional visit to make that repair. He also said h would use a sealant (which he explained worked even better than replacing it). He was able to fix both the roof repairs and the chimney cap in the same day. I received my bill 2 days after service completed for the exact price I was quoted! I would definitely use Molloy Roofing again.

Workers were friendly and very courteous. They performed quality work in all. They were outstanding and professional. I would definitely use this company in the future.

They made my membership with Angie’s list worthed. I had an outrageous estimate from other companies. They would come and take a look at my house and think I’m rich, because it’s a big old house. They gave me $30,000 estimate. But with Molloy, they came and they were able to find the leaks that nobody else could find. They repaired it and charged me $150 to repair two leaks. They understand old houses and they understand it’s a work in progress. They gave some terrific ideas twice since then. They are busy though, and you should plan your roofing needs, since you may not be able to get immediate service. They don’t a have sales person to come out, try to assess the problem, give me a bid and fix it. With Molloy they have their technician come out and assess the problem, and they just fix it. They have a lead time of up to three weeks, but it’s worth waiting. I would use them again in the future.

I got bids and they were in the middle. I have used them for three other houses. They were willing to leave the roof on. They hand nailed the roof. Their workers work there.

Both jobs were excellent. They came on time, completed the job when they said they would. It looks great! The supervisor returned to check out the work, found a couple of problems and made sure they were fixed quickly

The estimate was very detailed, which I liked, as I could tell what was missed. They re-did it, and the final roof was better than I had hoped for. I am a very satisfied customer.

Because of the heavy rains in out area, my gutters were overflowing and the water was going into the lower bedroom - two floors down. My wife and I were going on a cruise the following week and needed someone to locate the problem and fix it asap. I contacted 4 - 5 roofing companies - unfortunately, none of them go send anyone for at least three weeks. Out of desperation, I decided to join Angie's List. After reviewing the comments from other subscribers, and considering company locations, I decided to call Molloy Roofing Co. I explained my situation and they had someone come out next day. The person that came out informed me the problem was a clogged downspout - which he cleaned out - and fixed the problem. Because of all the rainy weather we were experiencing, I told him I was interested in getting the gutters and downspouts replaced (two-family house) and ask him to inspect them, and give a recommendation. He explained that a larger downspout would be helpful; however, the gutters were in good shape and did not to be replaced. He gave me a quote and we plan to get the work done next month. He was very professional, did excellent work, at a fair price. I feel confident recommending Molloy Roofing to others. Note: I am also using a company from Angie's list to repair the outside water damage. They begin work tomorrow.

I asked Molloy to inspect the roof and to evaluate the need to install ridge flashing. Their inspection indicated that ridge flashing was not required at this time. Earlier, a different company concluded that ridge flashing was needed and quoted a price of $6,000 for installation. I accepted Molloy's conclusions following our extensive discussions and my own research. I am certainly grateful that they provided an honest opinion rather than go for a quick profit.

I called Molloy first because they have a good reputation for Commercial work. They could not send an estimator for three weeks. I wanted to get this project done ASAP as it was part of a rehab-resell. I called back and canceled the estimate as I got three other estimates from A-listed Roofers on Angie's list in less than a week.

The work was good, but they were slow in the communication process. They recently downsized, but they may need more employees in order to call back their customers when they have concerns or want to know pricing.

I have several leaks in my hallway when it rains heavily. My home is a ranch with a raised ceiling, with no attic between the outside roof and the hallway. Molloy'sRoofing have worked to seal the flashing and the cracks in the chimney to prevent further leaking. They were prompt, reasonable cost, and took a personal interest in the success of the project.Special recognition to Kevin for his follow up telephone call the following week.

Very good. The only issue was that they were very busy and they told us up front this was the case, but at the end they exceed the schedule they told us.

I reviewed them. I then decided to do a search on Angie's List as a member and they came up again. I had forgotten about my Angie's List account. They made it very easy for me. I did not have to wait for them. They appeared and disappeared. They then billed me. I am very bad about opening my mails. They patiently billed me again. I am a single parent and I work full time. They just made everything very easy. I like it when I don't have to meet with somebody. They did what they said that they were going to do and let me do what I needed to do. They were adjustable to my needs, which was nice. I really don't know what they did. They showed up and they billed me. I did not have any problems. They told me what they did but I never got to talk to anybody which was what I wanted. So, I don't know what they did. They were great and they were easy to work with but they could have said anything. They could have said that they put on a whole new roof and I would not know. I hear that my sister gets a lot better prices in Atlantawhich I can't even believe.

They promptly showed up, told us what they were going to do and did it. They reported on what they did, not messing around, and finished quickly.

I had to wait 3-4 weeks before work started (well worth the wait). Had a small leak before they could redo roof. They came next day and patched it. Ted McCane, the supervisor, went out of his way to make sure everything was satisfactory.

I was told it would be 4 - 6 weeks before job could be done. Received a call a couple of weeks after signing proposal and said they could come that day due to weather stopped them from other job. They came and did the work, I would highly recommend them.

This was after getting three roofing companies outrageous estimate for a box gutter repair. They were telling me that it would have to be a major construction and it would be at least $30,000. And this was after having six different companies come out. They all saw our big house and might have assumed we were rich. Actually, I’m so impressed with Molloy. I asked the guy if I could go up and see what he saw and what he was explaining, because I was obviously a little shy about it. He said no, it was not possible, as he could not have me up in the ladder. He actually took digital photos with his phone and he was able to show me. After two weeks of rain, it’s absolutely a great repair. We were extremely pleased with them. They were reasonable priced and they were just terrific. We are going to use them in about a week or so to replace some hot plate tiles. In terms of responsiveness, they were a bit understandably busy, so I would not penalize them for that but they got out at their very first opportunity. In terms of punctuality, they came out on time and called before they came. In terms of professionalism, they were terrific.

went great. I use them all the time. I don't need to be there and I wouldn't know they had come by as they never leave any messes. They know my roof and have the right colors and such with them all the time. They are very prompt, even after big storms when I'm sure they are getting lots of calls. I found them through Angie's list and am sticking!

Jess Whitaker performed the inspection estimate and he did exactly what I asked 1) tell me if my roof could be repaired rather than be replaced and 2) and if repaired how many additional years before a replacement might be required. Jess was very professional and detailed in his analysis and told me that minor repairs would suffice and that I probably had 2-5 years until a replacement was required. His repair crew showed up as expected and completed the repairs in less than 30 minutes. My experience with Jess and his crew has been top flight and I strongly recommend Molloy Reffing Co.. Additionally I had 5 other vendors from Angies List provide estimates prior to Molloy Roofing Co. but the only thing the other vendors wanted to do was sell me a new roof for $7,000-$9,000 with little or no mention of repairs. When it does come time for a replacement you know I'm calling...Molloy Roofing Co.!
