Crew on time and very professional. Located the issue quickly and was able to use matching shingles from my "attic stock". Roof deck nail had popped, assumed due to heat causing the leak. Sealed and shingle replaced. Done in no time.

My gutter had started to pull away from the fascia board. I wasn’t able to get a close look at it to see what the problem was because it was 3 stories up. I was concerned that the board may have been starting to rot. I contacted Molloy and explained I needed a gutter repair but wasn’t sure how big or small the job might be. They said no problem. They would send someone out to evaluate it and if it was a simple fix they would take care of it right away. Within a few days, the technicians came out, inspected the gutter and were able to fix the problem on the spot. They reassured me that the fascia board was sound and the gutter just needed a few screws replaced to reattach it to the board. I was relieved and very pleased that they would take on a small job like this. Many companies don’t want to bother or will try to sell you more than you need. I had a good experience with Molloy Roofing and can definitely recommend them for gutter repairs.

We've been a Molloy Roofing customer for over 10 years. They inspect the roof, chimney and gutters twice a year. If there is a problem, they fix it. If the problem requires other experts, they refer to a trusted source. This year, the only problem was a clogged gutter. They cleared it and we are good until the spring inspection.

We received a prompt, professional, very affordable, contract offer, with measurements, done and, are ready for installation. Great Followup, to an unfortunate recent misunderstanding, for which, I will accept the error(s).

Great company. Have had them out a few times now to repair shingles on my roof from storm damage. Their prices are very fair and they only recommend work that needs to be done and do not try to do anything extra or overcharge. Definitely recommend them if you need work done on your roof.

Molloy Roofing replaced the whole roof of my house last month. I had several bits from a few roofers; and Molloy Roofing's estimated cost was the most expensive one. I initially was hesitant to use Molloy because of the high price. However, after researching the roofing costs and the involved steps, I understood that some of the important differences that set Molloy apart from other roofers were that they have had a very long, reputable history and that, instead of gun-nailed, they hand-nailed shingles, which greatly increased the labor cost. I learned of the important difference between the two kinds of nailing. I also chose to use their hourly-paid employees for higher level of accountability. I was willing to spend a bit more to have a good quality roof, which could last for a quarter of a century. The price difference would not be as significant if I looked at it from this perspective. I was very happy for my decision and the professional installation! I was particularly impressed by two of the roofers, James and Keith, for their dedication to the job. They were very efficient and thorough, and they made sure every step of the installation was carefully done and every shingle was nailed right. I was also thankful to Ted McCane's supervision and inspection, before and after the job was done. After the installation was complete, James and Keith diligently examined and surveyed the work site and picked up any debris before they left. But it was Molloy's policy to have Ted, one of Molloy's top bosses, personally come up on my roof a few days later to inspect and make sure everything the roofers had done was to his satisfaction. Ted also went around my house a few times to make sure that there was no nails or debris left behind. On the top of the satisfying installation experience, all my encounters with the rest of Molloy's staff were very pleasant. I particularly appreciated Rosemary's help with my inquiries, Eric's, who used to be a roofer himself, knowledgeable and sincere answers to a lot of my questions regarding the roofing proposal. Although I never met Dave Molloy, president of Molloy Roofing, I want to take this opportunity to say, "Thank You" for his demanding of high-quality performance from his staff and employees as well as his dedicated care to his customers. I called on April 23, 2019, to schedule an estimate for repairs. The person on the phone was clearly not correctly trained. I was *not* told that they were fully booked, what I was told, after being asked what the job was and where I was located and if I had used their services before, was that they were not taking *new* customers. The curt tone that this was phrased in gave an unpleasant impression. This seems to fly in the face of having an open add on Angie's, where the implicit suggestion is that one is open for business. The phone receptionist was far from cordial, and my impression was that they weren't interested in ME. This may not have been correct, but it was the impression given out. That afternoon there was a follow-up email that they could in fact come out, in about a month, and then it would be at least 12 weeks before they could possibly get to me. Again, the impression was of a brush off. If one lists on this service, it is similar to posting any ad for services, whether items or services. In some ways it is like going into a store that is open and being told to leave. Had the representative been polite and indicated that they were a small company and were simply swamped with sudden calls, and their current backlog was quite long, and they would come out, but it might be better if I found someone else, it would have been different. I wouldn't have left any review in that case at all. The owner upon seeing my first review, which was far more negative, did send a very nice apology for what happened, saying their receptionists took over 100 calls that day. I believe this is sincere. I cannot, in all honesty, give a grade better than a C for the overall experience I have had with this company. Were there a C- grade option, I would say that was more accurate. An apology does go a long way towards amelioration, but all of this could have been avoided with better communication, both on the website and on the telephone. I would strongly suggest that companies in such a position, who are listed on Angie's but are not able to perform services on a temporary basis, be somehow tagged so that members are aware that they are fully booked. If an Angie's member puts in a search, and a top-rated company comes up as in their area, it's one thing to say that they have a backlog, it's the right thing to do, but no one should ever be told that the company isn't interested.

Jess Whitaker was very professional. He reviewed our skylight and proposed removing a few shingles and replacing the flashing. The work was done several weeks later and seems great. We have had several hard rains and a not a drop has leaked.

Jerry was amazing, once he realized the gutter was not installed in the rafters, he took the gutter down, replaced the fascia, and then reapplied the entire rear gutter into the rafters.

For the last several months whenever we had a rainy spell we would get water leaking into our first floor bathroom. After some diligent investigating we had narrowed the problem to an area of our roof, but nothing specific. We called three different roofing companies to get an estimate (they were all Angie List recommended). I had taken video and pictures to help isolate the problem. The first two estimators gave a cursory look at my media and proceeded to examine the roof and give me a solution and estimate. I have been a homeowner for over 40 years and have done a variety of DIY projects. Their ideas didn't quite sound right to me so I got one more estimate from Molloy Roofing. I had seen examples of their work in our neighborhood and was impressed with their workmanship. Sure enough when their estimator (Ryan) came to the house, he studied my media, got on the roof and immediately isolated the problem. He showed me exactly how the water was getting into the house. An incorrect type of "drip edge" had been used when the shingles were originally installed. His proposal was to remove and replace with the correct "drip edge" and rehang the gutters with the appropriate hangers. The job was expensive but not really. If I had gone with either of the first two companies, the problem would not have been solved and I would have had pay again for additional work. Sometimes you "get what you pay for". The installers were very professional and did an excellent job. They went so far as to run my hose on the roof to demonstrate that the problem was fixed. The heavy downpours we have had since have further confirmed that fact. I downgraded them on punctuality only because I had to reschedule the original appointment due to vacation. When they did come out, nobody called first to confirm. Luckily we were home when they came. I would definitely recommend Molloy to anyone who needed roofing work. Oh yes, our downstairs bathroom is nice and dry.

It is a busy time of year for roofing companies. It took about a week from contact to having a person on the job. The estimator who arrived went on the roof and determined that the repair was minor and fixed it then and there. He was confident that the leak was repaired. We will learn whether he was right when we have our next heavy rain event.

Received a quote/s on new gutters and then the project grew to include siding. They always followed up, updated quotes as requested. Ultimately, the only reason I chose another company was I chose a different siding that they didn't have available.

It was for the sale of our condo in the summer. I've worked with them before and they were awesome, but this time around they were not great. They came in to do an estimate and they ended up doing work we didn't ask for. It took like a month to get a hold of them to find out what was going on and if they fixed our problem. It was a mess. We don't live there anymore so we're not able to see how it held up or even if they did the job. They were really hard to get a hold of. They were there on time. We don't live there anymore so we don't have access to them, so I don't think I would use them again. Give them a try if you want, but I guess it depends on who they send out there.

It took a week longer than I was told to get the repairman out to the house. The diverted was painted white, but my gutters are an almond color. Also had to clean clumps of wet mulch of the driveway from what I assume was the ladder. Repairs are satisfactory.
