They were on time, and highly efficient!

Molloy performed the service toward the end of May (before Memorial Day). They did an excellent job and the re-route has made a difference in reducing the likelihood of my basement flooding. I have used them previously and would do so again.

They were on time, courteous and professional. Their improvisation was effective.

The work was good. They came early everyday. They were here when they were suppose to be here. They work h****** the job. Overall we were happy with their work and would recommend them.

Both the roofing and gutter crews were very pleasant and professional. They responded to my concerns about the repairs and adjusted accordingly. This was a major rebuild and I'm happy with the results.

We have mixed feelings about this company. Initial contact and estimate were handled professionally. When we said the estimated price was too high for us, they came down $2000 to have their subcontractors do the work. The subcontractors were held by Molloy to the same specifications as they would hold their own people to. Although the team seemed to work hard, there were various annoyances. First, they never told us when they would start the job; they simply showed up one Monday morning. My husband works from a home office and had to quickly move his computer and other equipment down to the lowest level of our house because of the roof noise. The supervisor seemed to come and go without any obvious regularity. He told us on a Thursday that the team would be there Friday and also Saturday to complete the job. On Saturday, however, no one showed up. They started again the following Monday. We particularly asked that they ensure the gutters were clean of roof debris and they assured us they were. However, immediately after the job was finished, we had some heavy rainstorms and one gutter was so clogged, the water ran over. We had to call Molloy to send out someone to do the cleanout. While large pieces of debris from the work were picked up, we found many nails, small pieces of plastic wrappers from the shingles, plastic rings, and shingle remnants in various parts of the yard. Once we found five nails in the driveway, including one in my car tire that luckily was not punctured. But the biggest nuisance were dozens of cigarette butts all over the place. Overall, I picked up about a trash bag full of debris during the week they worked on our roof. I realize I am very picky but they could have been more conscientious about cleanup. We did appreciate that Molloy sent out an inspector when the work was done and had the subcontractors come back to fix several things. This was followed by a final inspection. We don't know whether things would have been handled differently had we paid the full price and used Molloy's own employees.

This was an insurance job and they were hired by our HOA to replace roofs. Very poor quality workmanship. They did not clean up from the job until late February. Caught them trying to throw pieces of siding away that they had torn down. They tore the gutter off my neighbors and then tried to throw it away. Both times they were caught and told to put back where they got the pieces. I found them to be slow on the job and very slow to clean up their messes. Nails in the yard, pieces of shingle laying in shrubs and they pulled into my back yard leaving huge ruts.

I am a general contractor and have inspected many projects and I found this crew to be one of the most conscientious about quality and safety that I have ever worked with. Every aspect of the job was done according to the best practices. Their copper soldering was high quality. They put back all the tile exactly the way it was before the job. They replaced the bird/rodent guards the correct way (the previous contractor DM Morris had incorrectly fastened them where they were rather than nailing them higher up and suspending them with wire. This allows for water penetration when the gutters overflow). Their lap joints were every 5 feet, so we were ensured a good fit.

They are very busy, and it took a while to get them to come out for an estimate. And there was going to be a further wait to get the roof put on, but they went out of their way to get it put on by a specific deadline that we gave them. Most of the time, there were 3 guys working on the roof; one day they sent out 6 men in order to get it completed on time. It took 5 days total. They did everything they said they would do, when they said they would do it. The workers were friendly, accommodating, and very professional. Molloy had put on our previous two roofs, so we were familiar with their work. We had a second estimate from another company, and it was considerably cheaper and could be done in 2 days instead of a week. It was a hard decision for us, but we trusted Molloy, and they had always done good work for us in the past. The previous roof they had put on lasted 5 years longer than it was supposed to. We were very pleased with Molloy.

Excellent from estimate to completeion. they replaced broken flue cap (blew in storm) weeks before roof so water would not get in. Clean up excellent, only found tiny pieces of old asphalt and less than half dozen nails. Job took 2+ days for roof, 1 more for gutters & guards a couple weeks later.

It took a while for Molloy to show up but it was spring and with the rough winter we had they had a backlog of work and my contact did warn me about this. My work was not time sensitive so it was no problem. The crew on site were very responsive to my needs and they took their time to do a quality job. My house is over 100 years old so craftsmen type work is necessary for a job to be done and look nice on the home. Good work, wonderful quality, I have found my favorite roofing company.

The came out to give an estimate ( they were the only one who physically climbed on the roof). They worked with the insurance company to go thru issues on price and work required. I had to call and check to see if the shingles were in. But once the materials were in, the work was completed in a timely and professional manner. I've used this company before and if I have roofing issues again, they will be my first call.

Molloy's repaired an apparent leak in our roof to the bathroom ceiling in 2013. When the problem recurred, they went up into the attic and determined that we would need to vent our bathroom exhaust fans to the outside, and made a proposal to do so, which we accepted. The work was erformed in April, 2014. It was done quickly on the day scheduled for the agreed-upon amount. They even returned later in the day to put in barriers against animal intrusion, and we probably wouldn't have known they hadn't been installed. We would recommend Molloy's highly.

I have used Molloy for years. They do quality work and are reliable.

They came on time. Did the work and explained the problems very clearly. They were very courteous . I have had Molloy Roofing do work for me before and have always found them easy to work with, quick to respond in an emergency and reasonably priced. I recommend them highly.

Repairs were delayed due to long period of inclement weather, however, Molloy repaired significant damage caused by a different roofing company, grateful, they accepted the challenge to clean up a different company's mess!

A tree fell on and destroyed our gutters. They said they would not be able to repair or replace gutters for at least 3 months, and that just getting an estimate would take weeks.. Waste of time calling them unless you dont need the work done until next year.

Replaced flashing in several places on roof due to water leak. The crew arrived on time, quickly resolved the problem and charged a reasonable price.

Awesome. Great follow-up. Professional staff. There was a misunderstanding in repairs and they went above promises.

UPDATE From epic fail, to stellar service. My original (Friday) review is below, indicating extreme disappointment, and rating this provider with an "F." On Monday, owner Dave Molloy got back to me to apologize for the service lapse, noting his dispatchers were clearly overwhelmed by the record 4 inches of rain we got the previous day. Today, Tuesday, his folks came to my condo complex to assess a number of issues, including mine. General Manager Joe Hylton took the time to conduct a thorough inspection and offer up some ideas for next steps. Accordingly, I am upgrading the rating to A. Molloy's actions have made this right. ORIGINAL REVIEW Really hard for me to believe Molloy has earned a Super Service award. I just called them about a major roof leak (think waterfall), and they informed me they could not get to it for 1.5 to 2 weeks. When I reiterated I had a waterfall each time it rained, they said there was nothing they could do about coming out earlier. They handle the roofing for my condo complex, so perhaps they handle "commercial" accounts differently. Net, in the land of responsiveness, and empathy, these guys are out to lunch. Extremely disappointing. I wonder if there is an issue between them and our condo complex.
