Wow! What a difference a roofing company makes. We had a roof/gutters/skylights installed 2 years ago with another Cincinnati roofing company. That was a terrible experience. We hired Molloy to tear off the mess and do the job the right way. And boy, oh boy, did they do a fantastic job. Because of our bad experience they really had to put up with a lot of questions and "prove it" attitude from me. Kudos to Jess and Ted for being so patient with me. They were detailed in what it would take to fix everything (and I do mean everything) No surprises between the invoice and the final bill. I have had the job inspected by a roof inspector and my general contractor. They were impressed with the way the install was handled. They do things the right way--no short cuts. Hand nail. Assess what is needed for ventilation and make sure that it is done correctly. Flashing. Gutters nailed into the trusses. If it is related to the roof--they know what they are doing. All the little details. Meticulous about cleaning up. Sure a nail or some shingle "dust" escapes the broom--but it is unreasonable to think that every tiny little thing will be found with such a big job. I know it was a tough job to fix another company's mess but they never once complained. They showed up when they said they would and did what they said they were going to do. Jeff, James, Jerry and Andy were the primary guys here every day. I trusted them completely. They were respectful, hardworking guys. And, they all had a great sense of humor and worked well together. It is our hope that we won't need another roof while we live here. But, if mother nature decides to change that Molloy would be the first company I would call. Update (12/4/15) : Well, I didn't think this group could impress me more--but they proved me wrong. Molloy had their own inspector come out and he didn't like a couple things--"work wasn't quite up to their standard". He could have said "good enough, the client will never know" but that isn't how they do things. Just amazing! Today those repairs were taken care of. Again, very respectful workers.

Everything went well. When the workers arrived to start the job we noticed some additional loose soffits besides the ones I'd called about, so they took care of those too. This company has done most of the roof work the 40 years we've owned this house. They always do a good job.

Work was done when we weren't here. From what I could tell, it went great. Tech left a detailed description of work performed. My only complaint is that it took a long time from sending in a signed contract to having work performed (several months). But I had stated from the beginning that I wasn't in a hurry. I thought it was a very good price and I'm happy with what was done.

They were very nice and approachable. They were knowledgeable and informative.

The work looks great, and has enhanced the appearance of our front porch. Ryan and Mike were extremely professional, leaving a clean work site every day, and providing us with daily updates on their progress. Gary, Molloy's estimator, worked with us prior to the work being done, helping us to select the best shingles. He even dropped off two sets of samples while we were making our decision. Molloy was not the lowest estimate we received, but we feel the higher cost was worth it based on their professionalism and the quality of the work. This is not the first time we've used Molloy.

We feel very fortunate to have found Molloy Roofing. We've used Molloy in the past, before we were members of Angie's List and I've always been very pleased with the work they've done. I recommend them anytime I hear anyone asking for a good, honest, dependable roofer. They came when they said they were going to come and charged a very reasonable amount of money for the repairs they have done for us. Molloy is especially good at identifying the source of tricky leaks and figuring out how to fix them quickly.

Excellent job despite record rainfall. Clean up was outstanding, on a daily basis.

I called Molloy Roofing when I discovered a wet spot in my bedroom ceiling. When Scott came out, he found that the flange around the vent pip had dry rotted, causing the leak. He replaced it, as well as the one over the kitchen. Scott was pleasant, helpful and informative. I will definitely use Molloy Roofing again.

We used Molloy's 20+ years ago when we first moved to Cincinnati. We have always considered them "our" roofers since. So when we needed a replacement they were who we called. I thought the price high (a bit more than I expected) but I know from experience they stand behind their products and are there when and if you have a problem. Their roofs are hand nailed the old fashion way, so though it takes a bit longer it is worth it. They are fully insured and pay into Ohio Workers Compensation. This was important to us since in a previous home (different state) a company we used had subcontracted out our project and the roofer fell. Luckily he wasn't hurt but we found out later we could have been liable even though we hadn't hired him. The crew was wonderful--- Pleasant and informative when I asked questions, kept the work sight immaculate even in the midst of pulling the old one off. Honestly I expected more of a mess during the process. We are exceedingly happy with the new roof and how stress free the whole experience was. I would recommend Molloys to anyone. The are the ultimate professionals.

We had only known of, and had quoted, the "choke point" issue yet, while the workers were present we asked them to look at the "negative slope" issue. Kevin discussed the 2nd issue with his employee(s), quoted and the repairs were completed! And I have already recommended to others.

Molloy Roofing is a great company. They were timely, professional and neat. The salesman, Don, took his time and answered all my questions and gave me a very competitive quote. The installation took two days, which seemed appropriate for the work. I provided the copper sheets which they took back to their shop and bent into flashing. When the job was finished they had me inspect their work and explained how the system worked. The real surprise came when I got the bill. They had lowered the price because the roof was not as big as first quoted. Honesty like that should be an example to all businesses. I would have never known and would have been perfectly happy with their work if they had billed me the full amount. I can't stress enough how highly I recommend this company.

Came quickly after call for a quote. Explained all work and advantages of each grade of shingles. I chose the 50 year roof. I liked that all shingles are "hand nailed," not put down with a nail gun, which can put the nails in at an angle and eventually tear the shingle. All work was done promptly and professionally, including a thorough cleanup. I waited about one year to see if there was anything that needed followup. Before I could call, Molloy came by at the one yr. marked, inspected the entire job and re-nailed a few shingles that needed a touch up. They answered all phone calls promptly and took all the time needed to answer questions and discuss issues about shingles and the ventilation system which is important to extending the life of the roof. Molloy isn't the cheapest on the market but they haven't been in business fir 125 years because of price, rather its quality of work and reliability. I received 2 other bids in the same price range as Molloy, but the hand-nailing is what persuaded me most, after extensive online research. I'd recommend to anyone. Good job!

I would like to express my complete satisfaction with the Molloy Roofing Company of Cinti. Ohio. They were honest, attentive to detail, courteous and extremely efficient. Having contacted six of the top roofing companies on Angies list for roofing bids, only two of the six companies were interested in getting up on the roof to look at the roof construction, insulation and areas of leakage. They had two different managers of the company review the needed repairs prior to giving me an estimate. They had the roof tarped and secure during the three week wait getting me on the schedule which was reassuring. The company kept in contact with me and sure enough they were exactly on time for the target date of replacement.They did not subcontract the job and had supervision on site multiple times during the roofing project. They sent the best possible crew to the site (Jeff, Andy and Larry) who treated my roof like it was their own and completely had my roofing project as their top priority. All of the other companies told me they would be complete with the roofing in one day or a day and a half, well the job required four plus days to complete. Each day they cleaned up the job site and made sure the roof was water tight in case of rain. The company even had their shop construct a new siding piece to cover the possible roof leak. Two days after the roof was completely replaced, Ted the site manager came to the house on a Saturday morning to review the job, sure enough he found a few nails, cleaned my skylights and rechaulked the area he felt needed attention. I was kept up to date with all roofing information by Kevin Schermbeck,the Residential Estimator and Ted the Site Manager. I feel so very lucky to have found the best possible company (they have been in business for 100 years) to replace my roof. I know they did the best job for me and know the roof is water tight. I can leave the house when it rains and feel confident I will not come home to a disaster. I would recommend this company to anyone needing a roof replaced and give them the best possible rating A++++on Angies list. P.S. Please note the detail on the two page estimate given to me by Kevin, matched the exact work done by the company.

Out of town when work was done. Work was done on time and as requested.

I have a 100-year-old house with box gutters. The previous owner had the gutters lined with a rubber liner that I've come to learn was a bad idea. Raccoons in the tree over my house tore the rubber to shreds in one gutter, which resulted in leakage into my bedroom wall. I got 5 estimates for repairing the gutter and Molloy's was mid-range compared to the others. What I really appreciated about Molloy's was their honesty about when they could do the repairs. They gave me an estimate in November but wouldn't be able to do the repair until at least March. However, they told me they could do a temporary fix to tide me over for the winter, and would be in touch when they could fix it in the spring. I agreed and within days the temporary fix was done. True to their word, they called me mid-April and had remembered that I wanted a heads-up before they started their work. They basically completely replaced the gutter, including all the rotted wood, with very little disruption to me or the neighbors...and they did an amazing job. I wish I had the cash to get the rest of the gutters up to speed to match the new one. Also, this is what I really appreciate. I saw here on Angie's List that they took credit cards, but I didn't read the full terms...which was credit cards up to $1,000. So when I received the invoice in the mail (which was what they quoted...no extra charges or fees), I called to make sure I could put it on my card. The woman who answered the phone (very nice, very professional), explained that they only take cards up to $1,000 and after that they would need cash. So I asked if they offered financing, and next thing I know I'm talking to Dave (I think Dave was his name) Molloy who told me it would be fine to put the whole bill on my card. Start to finish they were a class act and did excellent work. I would definitely recommend them! Best experience I've had with a service provider since I bought this house, and I've dealt with a lot of different providers.

Molloy does repairs on my roof 2-3 times a year. I have what are I hear are the old "3-tab" shingles and they tend to blow off in very small sections, like 3-5 shingles at a time. So THIS time I asked several questions about this and about some other roof phenomena. Scott from Molloy Roofing - who repaired my roof last - called me and answered all my questions. He was straightforward and direct and honest and there were ways I could tell he knew my roof. I was so impressed with the conversation I had to call the company and tell them. Also when I DO need a new roof in 2, 3, 4 years I will definitely be consulting with him about my roofing options.

2 man crew arrived on time; informed us of what was to be done. Let us know when they were leaving and what would be done the next day. Arrived the next day and completed job. Cleaned up area.
