This move was done with ease. I have moved several times in my life and this by far was the easiest and affordable process for me. I recently moved from Maine to Arizona, a total of 2,800 miles. I was not sure what to expect as I had never used a full-service mover before, but I'm glad I did. After we completed my inventory, they asked me to take pictures of all my furniture and items. Surprisingly, they used the pictures to get the exact size of everything, and the rate actually went down—something I wasn’t expecting, since I thought it might increase. I had a 3-week window for my move, and a few days before the movers were scheduled to arrive, they called to confirm that nothing had changed. They also got a final count of my boxes. Since my daughter had taken the big couch, they adjusted the rate again and locked it in! The movers who arrived were very friendly and funny. They helped me label all the boxes by room, which was a great idea I wish I had thought of earlier. They carefully wrapped all my wooden furniture with moving blankets, and their professionalism really put me at ease. After flying to Phoenix, the movers arrived the next morning and brought everything into my new home. They even carried the heavy items upstairs without complaint! Moving is always stressful, but the team at Nationwide Cross Country Movers made it so much easier. Thomas, my move manager, was amazing throughout the process. He was always available whenever I had questions, and even when I called him late on the day I arrived at my new house, he returned my call right away.
