He also installed a new tile bathroom - shower - vanity - toilet, making the most of a small space. He also intalled a new water heater and washer/dryer unit, as well a wall-mounted heater/AC. In another house adjacent, Joe Rossi removed a crumbling stone porch and replaced it with a new stone porch/ steps, with a sturdy metal railing around, getting my property more curb cred. For each project, Joe Rossi gave his full attention to all details in a timely and professional manner. He kept me updated about each project and explained what needed to be done and how."

"I was very happy with the price and the work that was done to create the room. There were three estimates and this price was what I wanted to spend. I was pleased with the workers who came to complete the project, everyone was very friendly and answered any questions that I asked. A porta potty was placed outside so the workers did not have to come into the house, and it was great that I didn't have to be home when they were working downstairs. They entered and exited through the egress window. At the beginning of the project there were two mistakes made but as soon as I mentioned them to the contractor they were immediately corrected. "Our house is over 100 years old and has a stone foundation. On the uphill side of the house, water would come through the wall and run across the floor. Having worked with David Friedlander before on other work I called him up. He suggested digging out to the footings and waterproofing the outside of the foundation. When we dug out, we found that the outside of the foundation was loose and unmortared--sealing wouldn't work well. He suggested building a form around the foundation and pouring a new concrete wall around the existing foundation. It worked amazingly well. The basement is dry as a bone, and the foundation should be good for another hundred years at least! His crew is professional and hard-working. They worked through a snowstorm, and took great care of our place. Best of all, David and the rest of the business are easy to communicate with, clear on expectations and needs, transparent on costs, are able to be scheduled quickly, and work fast. They're great!"

"Met me a week before, gave me an estimate 3 days later.  Was several hundred less than other estimates.  He was the only one that explained the process along with the estimate showing different materials.  He also explained the different materials and how long they would last along with treatment.  Showed up every morning it wasn't raining and told me hours and times he would be there.  Had a nice young man that helped who was also very courteous and pleasant.  Deck was completed a week before deadline and I absolutely love it.  Will hire for any other jobs I need without question."
