"I hired Daniel to upgrade the wiring and install a grounded outlet in an 80 year old house to accept a refrigerator. He did an excellent job, and went through the whole house and identified the wiring, what type, which fuses are connected to which outlets (something that two other very experienced electricians were unable to do). While wiring is safe there were some very circuirtuous and unexpected routes taken in this old house which, in one evening, he was able to figure out. He will be doing a lot more electrical work for me. My first experience with Danny's work was when a huge tree fell on my property. He removed the tree for a very good price, sawed it neatly into logs and even swept out the lawn after removal. He also does moving (excellent rates) he will be doing this week for me, fixes sliding glass doors, drywall and carpentry work. He is a jack of all trades trained by his father (who owned a contracting buiness) from a young age. Forgot to mention, one of his primary businesses is as a locksmith and he put in the lock on my front door. For most jobs large and small, no need to look further."

"Initially Mike Meehan himself came to the house as part of the big deal purchase which I hadn't realized was for a type of roof that we didn't have. However, once I told him what we needed done around windows flashing and fixing gutters, he took a look at everything including the rooms that had peeling paint. He also went into my attic to make sure there was no damage there. He wrote up an estimate right then and we scheduled the work for this week on July 30th. He came when he said he would and did everything he said he would do and came back again today to finish up some sanding of the spackling he did inside the house. I am still in shock given my prior experiences with roofing professionals in my area who rarely come when they say they will and in some cases after I decided to use them never showed up with a contract. Meehan Renovations was such a refreshingly pleasant group of people to deal with and I am feeling much better about the ability of our house to weather the next big storm. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

"They were great experiences. We have worked with Platinum several times because we liked their prices, punctuality, and professionalism. The first time we hired them was to remodel our guest bathroom. We had a tub/wall combo that we didn't like and wanted to replace with new tub and tile. We got several proposals, but many of them were over priced and they always would end up breaking most of the bathroom. Platinum proposed a cleaner job also at a lower cost. It was great! We were not happy with how the cubby in the shower was made, and we didn't say it to them until after a few months, they still came and fixed it! The second time we had them was a few months later to remodel the kitchen. We wanted a bigger island and to get rid of a fridge in the middle of the kitchen and move it to a side. We asked them for a quote before we asked anyone else. We were so happy with the price that we didn't even ask other companies for any quotes. They moved the fridge and opened up space for the new fridge with the existing cabinets. The also installed the new island and re did the kitchen floor from tile to wood. They made it match with the floor we already had in the living room. It was great as well! Third time we hired them to put a wall outside our house. When we bought the house, it seems like the living room was an extension made on a deck. The underneath the deck was never covered, therefore the living room was always cold. Platinum put insulation and a new wall. We had at least 2 other contractors give us a quote, but then we finally asked Platinum again (we didn't ask them initially because we weren't sure they did that type of job). Well, they gave us a proposal and it was lower than the others, and again with guys we already knew. It was an easy decision. Then the last job we used them for was a few weeks ago to convert out master bath from a tub (kind of Jacuzzi) to a stand-up shower. They came to give us the price almost immediately. They were available for inspections, and they were even available for picking up permits or materials if I couldn't do it myself. I was very pleased with their job. I made a mistake getting the wrong tiles; they noticed when they started putting up the tile and saw the difference. I felt terrible, but they were so patient and helpful. They just removed the tile and waited for me to get new one. I really recommend these guys!!!! They have also done a few other smaller jobs in my house, like repairing a hole in the wall that my nephews made playing soccer inside the basement. Repairing a leak in the kitchen ceiling. Repairing a broken piece in the second floor wooden floor...I think I lost count. The price i am putting down below is only for the master bathroom as I don't remember the other prices."
