"Jose was awesome! Very polite friendly and professional. He went over everything in detail of the services that he will perform that day. He took his time making sure all the dust and dirt was cleaned off our windows, floors, tables, counter tops etc..bathrooms were spotless! Me and my wife were totally totally satisfied and even had exceeded our expectations. It took him almost over 3 hours to complete. Will definitely call him again and have him clean our home periodically."

Sonic Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Having your roof cleaned can be worth it because it improves the life span of the materials on the roof. You won’t have to pay a roof replacement cost as often when you clean the roof regularly.

To maintain metal roof health, schedule regular inspections, clear debris from gutters, and check for signs of corrosion.

While it’s not completely necessary for them to operate properly, as the occasional rainfall can rinse away dirt and debris, manually cleaning solar panels from time to time can keep them operating more efficiently.

Dirt, debris, pollen, and bird droppings can collect on the surface of the panels. Depending on the amount of solar panels you have, this can add up over time, so set a regular maintenance schedule. Moreover, if you live in a climate with little to no rainfall, more debris can accumulate, causing inefficiencies that would be clear in your electricity bill.

It may require stronger cleansers or chemicals, higher-pressure spray, or scrubbing to completely remove algae from a metal roof. Start with a mild cleanser; if that doesn’t work and you're comfortable doing so, use a stronger mix of ⅓ cup of laundry detergent, 1 quart of bleach, and 3 quarts of water to gently scrub the algae with a soft-bristled brush. If algae is present across large portions of your roof, doesn’t come off with gentle scrubbing and cleansers, or is in hard-to-reach areas, this may be a job better left to a pro.

No, you should not use a pressure washer or power washer on roof shingles, including asphalt shingles. The high water pressure is too strong and can damage the shingles by loosening their adhesive, forcing water underneath them, or causing them to fall off. The safer and better option is soft washing with a pump sprayer. For best results and to avoid damage, consider hiring a local roof cleaner to clean your shingles safely.
