Steve and son were very efficient. Got the work done quickly and as promised. Steve works well with using email and responds quickly. I like he is up to date with his communication and andriod device to keep his information.

While his son fixed the switch and replaced the outlets, Steve went to work installing the exhaust fan. He called me in to inform me that the fan was in good shape and only needed a cleaning. So instead of a costly installation, the fan was cleaned. It works perfectly and we saved over $200 dollars. We found them to be prompt, courteous and efficient. When I paid our bill, I told Steve that we would definitely use him again in the future.

Steve gave me an estimate in advance for work on a new home we purchased. Based on past experience with other electricians, it was quite reasonable. He and his son arrived on time and got right to work. He was not sure when they started if they could finish everything that day, but they did which was great as we are moving in soon. Everything was done neatly and professionally. What really impressed me was his honesty. I thought we needed to upgrade our panel. That would have required moving the RGE meter outside - very expensive! Steve was confident our existing panel could handle everything we were doing including the new big appliances. (I had one contractor tell me the panel did need replacing!). I trusted Steve's expertise and am confident we will not have issues when we move. We will use Steve going forward with our electrical needs. Very impressed with the price, service and work.

Steve did a great job and installed the motion sensor in a timely manner. The price was great and I even used the coupon without any problems.

Excellent - service above and beyond our expectations

The pool was installed about a week before Steve could do the wiring so he lent us an adaptor so we could run the filter. He arrived for the work at 9AM and had everything done by noon. Steve is very professional, his rates are very competitive. It's a pleasure to find such a professional. We will be calling him in the near future for more electrical work in our home.

Steve and his assistant arrived promptly and worked efficiently. They were in the house for maybe an hour. The outlets all worked beautifully when they were done. We received a detailed electronic receipt before they left. I would highly recommend them!

He was very knowledgeable and his suggestions were helpful. His quote was clear and offered choices. Fast, accurate, friendly service. Exactly what I was hoping for. I could have done the work myself and have done so in the past. Steve did the job in probably one tenth of the time it would have taken me and I have the assurance that the work was done to code and is guaranteed, too. Also, I did not have to deal with the cleanup afterward.

This was the second time I used Nichols Electrical due to the fact that I was pleased with the result the first time. This was the first time Scott came by (Steve came by himself the first time). Scott was very prompt, swapped out 4 light fixtures, and sent me an email invoice. I was extremely satisfied with the price and quality of the service, and will use them again in the future. They also take coupons from Angie's list, which is a plus.

Steve's price was very competitive with the other vendor that I had contacted. He walked me through the details of what he would do and how the installation and inspections would be handled. Once I signed with him he would take care of every detail and he was true to his word. Steve and his son arrived on time and took about 5-6 hours to complete the job. They cleaned up the work area and explained what was to follow in terms of inspection. When I asked Steve for a price quote I had forgotten to included an extra outlet in the basement for my dehumidifer and the fact that I also needed a 220 breaker in the new panel for the AC. Steve provided these at no extra cost to me which he really did not have to. He was easy to work with and I would recommend him to my friends.

I didn't spend extra from that big deal I purchased for Nichols Electrical Contracting. I would use them again in the future.

Steve Nichols and his son arrived as promised, completed the work efficiently, and disposed of the old lights and boxes. They worked so quickly and quietly, if it weren't for new, working lights, I'd hardly know they had been here! I definitely would use their services again, and highly recommend them.

Steve and his son arrived on time and quickly took an assessment of everything that needed to be completed. They provided a couple of options for our new ceiling fan. They completed the work in less than 2 hours, and even troubleshot a bad outside plug. Turns out it was related to an inside GFI, but the fact that he quickly knew the likely cause, and fixed it in minutes was FANTASTIC. Steve initially provided a quick quote over the phone, and his quote stayed true through the completion of all the work. Each area was left as it was when they arrived - you wouldn't know they were there except for our new ceiling fan. I would use Nichols Electric again, and they will be my first call for any electrical work in the future.

I am revising my earlier review, which was less than positive, to a much more positive one due to the responsiveness and professionalism of Steve. Initially, there was a miscommunication about the nature of the work, but Steve was very prompt and professional in responding and quickly returned to our home to complete the job to our satisfaction.

Nichols Electrical Contracting came on time, he did exactly what he was supposed to do, it was a very easy process, and he threw in a surge protector for the box because he didn't have to lay extra ground wire like originally thought. I will use Nichols Electrical Contracting because he's going to be out here next week to do more electrical work.

They arrived precisely on schedule to do the job and worked very diligently to get the job finished in a timely manner. rep was timely and dfficient. While this was an Angie's "Deal" for about $400, I subsequently learned that if I bougt the two fans on the internet and paid the company's regular hourly rates the cost would have been less than $250.

great... they were a little late but when they showed up, they were quick, efficient, nice and did a great job. If you are looking for an ethical contractor who will do what they say they will on time and on budget -- as well as being a very nice person... then Nicols is the contractor for you. He came with his son who is equally as hardworking.

Steve was prompt in returning our call for an estimate in April and came out within three days. The estimate was thorough and sent within a day. Steve and his son completed this large job in 5 hours and were extremely efficient and professional. We will definitely work with him again.
