Steve was always very responsive and polite. I was extremely pleased with the exceptional service I received.

Steve and his son were here for the whole day--they even ate their lunches while working. (They like getting done early, Steve said.) Because of the panel box replace et al. we were without power for only 3 hours. (If you're thinking of a new panel box, you may want to consider doing it in warming weather. They worked quickly and efficiently. Steve had to do some adjustments to the fans to make them fit and work quietly. He did this at no extra charge. Steve apparently has a lot of work and I had to wait about 4 weeks for my job. It was worth it.

I had to buy a different fan because the one advertised had no light. I am glad they told me but wish it would have been included in the price. Then to install they had to do a lot more work than just swap out the fan which cost more. They left a lost of dust, dirt and debris and left mud all over my carpet. It came out but I spent about 2 hours cleaning up after they left which I was disappointed about. They should bring a shop vac with them and leave the house the way it was when they came in.

Steve contacted us promptly to schedule, and contacted me the day before the install to confirm. Other than getting lost on the way to the house, and arriving a little late, the installation was smooth, quiet, professional. The quality of the fans and the install is good; we are quite happy with our purchase.

Steve Nichols and his son delivered as promised. They arrived on time, very professional and courteous. They did the work they discussed during the estimate and left the area very neat.

He was scheduled to do the work at 18 Oct 2013 in the morning. He showed up at 9 AM and quickly went to work. The entire job took him and his helper just about an hour to accomplish. I was very pleased with all aspects of his work and will not hesitate to use this company again for electrical work. Thanks to Angie's List for sending me the email announcing this special offer. Over all Steve Jr. did a very nice job! He installed a wall plate that was tan and i asked him to change to white witch he did and I was very happy that it matched the other wall plates in the hallway. He was very helpful with information we asked about and he was very polite and professional. We will have him back.

We couldn't bave been more pleased with his and his son's professionalism, the quality of ther work, and the productivty of their time. We highly recommend their service.

Steve did a great job as always.

Arrived at appointed time as promised and promptly surveyed the work area. The installation went quickly and efficiently as Steve worked in the attic and helper/son worked from below. Estimated time quote of 2 hours was halved including additional install of a larger vent pipe required by the new fan. There was some additional cost for the 2 vent pipe sections, but that was to be expected. Over all, it was a pleasant ordeal, and would not hesitate to use Nichols Electrical Contracting again.

Steve Nichols was right on time for the information meeting. He was very thorough and explained everything in great detail. Unfortunately our needs would not be met with the Angies deal.

Steve was easy to communicate with, both via phone and email. He and his son were on time, worked efficiently, cleaned up, and the price was right. They were done in about two hours. He left a coupon for a 20% discount on his next visit, which I have already lined him up for. Very impressed with his service. Highly recommended!

They were excellent, timely, and really knew what they were doing. He was informative about what he was doing.

I am pleased with the overall installation and the unit itself. Two minor issues: 1. The vent fan not securely connected to the vent pipe. Workers that upgraded attic insulation had to secure the fan to the vent pipe. 2. There were small 1" gaps into the attic after the installation. Ideally they should have been filled in.

This was one of those pre-paid special deals. But as soon as I asked for a duct in the ceiling and a change in the switch the $$ started ringing up. That's the thing with these deals, if you ask them to install it properly, suddenly that is extra.

lThe only "problem" I had was Steve (the owner) missed an appointment with me to look at my breaker box. Upon calling him back he apologized many times and said that because he missed the appointment there would be no charge for the GFI he would instal even tho that was an extra. Scott the man who came to do the work was outstanding. He said he would be here at around 9 am and he showed up at 9 am!! He explained all that was going to happen and three hours later he was on his way. He cleaned up all the debris from the job and took it out to my trash can. There were NO surprises and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Contractor arrived on day and within time frame that was agreed on. Scott was very pleasant and professional even when threatened with wasps while replacing outside light fixture. Also, was willing to answer any questions I had which I appreciated.

It's a father-son team. They're very professional, courteous and timely. They work fast and they get in and out. All of their work was guaranteed. We also use them for all of our businesses now.

Steve has done three prior jobs, one of which was installing fans in other rooms. This job went just as smoothly and efficiently as the others. Steve was prompt, arriving and finishing at the appointed times. Steve is an outstanding communicator. He is meticulous in his communication of appointments, what the job entails and billing.
