Steve arrived on time for the inspection and completed it in a timely manner. I had questions on some work I want done. He checked it out and gave me an estimate on that. I am having him do the other projects I want done. We have used Steve in the past on our last house and have always been very satisfied with him.

Arrived on time , answered all questions and completed job in less than an hour . Also was told to call them back if any issues came up as the result of their service call. Emailed me bill and receipt. Very thorough from start to finish.

Mr. Nichols responded quickly and the job was done efficiently. Considering it is winter and quite cold I had a few reservations but the job was done before the house cooled below 65 degrees. Great job!

Work was not done. Mr. Nichols insisted that his offer stated that there needed to be access space above the ceiling. I never saw that stipulation in the offer and, when I checked it again, it made no mention of above access. so, job was cancelled.

They were on time. They called prior to arrival. They explained everything as they were doing it.

I had the power in 3 rooms unexpectedly go out last night. I called Nichols Electric and talked to Steve this morning. He was able to schedule me an appointment for this afternoon and showed up well inside the stated time. Steve checked the panel box and all outlets in the outage area, found the problem and was able to fix it and remedy the situation. I found him to be very pleasant and professional and I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for an electrician and would absolutely use him in the future.

Fantastic! Setting up appointment for estimate is so easy on the Nichols website. Steve was on time, very professional, the estimate was issued via email and the job was scheduled 2 days later due to a cancellation. The 2 electricians were on time and were very professional and had all the work finished in about an hour. We will definitely be using Nichols Electrical Contracting again. We used the Angie's List coupon.

After obtaining several estimates for this job, Steve offered us the most reasonable price by several hundred dollars. I was very impressed with his responsiveness and his willingness to work within my budget providing options but not subjecting me to a "hard sell". Steve Nichols has been to my home a few times now, doing everything from installation of a backup generator system to panel box repairs to adding light fixtures. Steve and his crew are honest and their prices are very reasonable. Once Steve came over and told me that I didn't need certain electrical work that I had thought I did. He saved me quite a bit of money. I highly recommend Nichols Electrical for everything electrical. He is honest, and shows up on time, and very responsive.

I spoke with the owner, Steve last week after looking for a contractor on Angie's List. We first had some discussion on possible causes for this problem. Through an excellent conversation, the final determination for a solution was to run a separate line which I agreed to have done. I also inquired about other electrical work that I would be interested in obtaining quotes and recommendations. Today, Scott came out to install the new line. This was done very quickly, efficiently, and cleanly. During his work, Steve also came out to talk about the other areas for work in which I am interested. I am very pleased with today's work. I would recommend them as an excellent electrical contractor. Steve did not try to over-sell me on anything. In fact, during our first conversation, he was attempting to find a less expensive solution first.

The installer was a little late but was done quickly, probably less than 30 minutes. The only thing I didn't like was that he was just going to install it and leave, I had to stop and ask him about the unit, "How do I know when it fails and what do I do?", that sort of thing.

I have engaged Nichols Electrical several times between mid 2014 and early 2015. I initially purchased a coupon from Angie's list for 2 light fixture installations, and Steve and anyone I dealt with was extremely helpful. I ended up having an issue where one of the fixtures didn't fit the space, and I needed to bring them back in when I replaced it, and they were very accommodating. I ultimately had them in to replace several older dimmer switches, and they did a great job with that, as well as help with issues I was having with dimmers using LED lights. They have a great team, offer answers to questions, are prompt and courteous and a general pleasure to work with.

Had to reschedule a few times due to weather (They had to get on roof and use hot tar), because of that they did the microwave on it's own breaker for free. Everything went very well.

Workers were prompt, courteous and thorough. Replace old light and installed new one in approximately 15 minutes with no issues.

They were on time and did a nice job. They asked questions to make sure the lights were placed where I wanted them to go.

Appointment for service call was made for the next day. I was given a window of 1 - 3 pm for the appointment. They arrived at 1:30 and were done in an hour. Very efficient and polite. I will definitely use again!
