If anyone is looking for a Professional, Honest and easy to talk to contractor , this Company is by far the one!!!!! Pat who came to estimate my job , took his time to listen to my concerns and what product I wanted to install. He accurately quoted my job, and we agreed on the price. I upgraded my electrical panel from 100 to 200 service and had a Reliance 10 switch transfer switch installed at the same time for my Briggs Elite 7000 watt portable generator that I just purchased. Alex and his excellent crew were on my job at 9 am with all the necessary supplies needed for my installation. His crew worked non stop, and knew exactly what each step of the way entailed. Along with being courteous and personable, there expertise was by far an added perk. The guys took as much time as they needed to identify and note each and every circuit breaker in my new panel, (which meant going to each and every room and outlet in my wideline hi ranch, 2000 squrare foot house), and advising along with asking which ones should be added to the transfer switch. Turns out , just about everything is added with the exception of the (2) dishwashers, (2) 15,000 btu air conditions, and the washer /dryer . (Lucky for me, we have gas furnace and gas stoves) They then showed us the process on how to start, connect and turn on transfer switch to get the generator going as a backup. They also fixed my garage fluorescent light that needed both a new part and bulbs. Neat and clean job with all debris taken away. I have one word for the owner (Alex) and his crew.........................................they are all..................................... " PERFECTIONIST"

They did a high quality job. Men were on time, efficient and very careful installing updated wiring to kitchen and laundry in a ranch style house. Hung dining room and kitchen fixtures on short notice, and then repaired a non-functionong doorbell at no cost - simply because he realized it was not working properly.

Every thing went as planned, from the initial visits by Alex and Pat a week prior to the installation of everything. On Friday, 8/23, a four man crew, two electricians and two helpers arrive fifteen minutes early, at 8:45am They worked until around 5pm. The work was neat, professional, and they cleaned up nicely.

I had an old bathroom exhaust fan replaced with a newer one.The two men who arrived were on time. They were very nice.They worked very quickly. They were very professional.I had a good experience with this company and I'm very grateful I found a quality company through Angies List. I am overall very happy with the work. The new bathroom exhaust fan is working well .I will use this company again if I ever need to and I encourage anyone else to use this company , if you are in need of an electrician.

It was a great experience. Alex, the owner is a young guy 38 years old, with old world values of straight talk, honesty, courtesy, punctuality and professionalism. He knows his business and has many years of experience. He said what he would do, when he would do it, and what the price would be. I hired him and he kept his word on everything and did excellent work. He has an excellent crew also. His price was very competitive and his work was efficient, professional and on time. He also came back promptly to adjust a vey minor problem with one of the post lamps after he had been paid in full. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing electrical work.

Showed up as promised, price was good for the value, flexible about last minute adjustments to location and height for these outdoor outlets. Timeliness was an issue as we were having work done and he could have delayed all the other contractors. Great job!!

i called alex for an estimate and he came within two days which was a saturday to take a look. we explained what we needed which was hanging a hand nlown glass murano fixture from the second story , trouble shooting badement high hats that didnt work, lighting up a dark part of the kitchen and putting in a doorbell system. he called within a few days and gave us a verbal estimate he also emailed me a written estimate and said he could do the work the same month. which was important to us. we made up a date and time. the morning of thr start dte he called at 8;30 and said he would be there by nine. he arrived with 3 other guys and worked without lunch till 2:30. they finished all the work and cleaned up. they were courteous and considerate. honored his estimate and didnt charge me for the high hats in the kitchen. i would definately call him again.

OUR INITIAL CALL TO ALEX (THE OWNER) WAS BEFORE STORM SANDY...HE CAME TO GIVE US A PRICE QUOTE FOR A NEW GENERATOR. HE WAS VERY REASONABLE WITH HIS PRICE QUOTE. THEN STORM SANDY CAME.... AND I NEEDED TO HIS HELP........HE WAS EXTREMELY BUSY DOING EMERGENCIES....BUT HE WOULD ALWAYS RETURN MY CALLS AND OFFERED TO COME TO HELP IF I NEEDED HIM. HE DIDNT EVEN KNOW US WELL BUT HE WOULD STILL OFFER TO HELP.....WE WOULD NEVER FORGET HIS KINDNESS. HE KEPT HIS PROMISE AND INSTALLED OUR GENERATOR, KEEPING HIS INITIAL PRICE QUOTE WHILE OTHER COMPANIES WERE TAKING ADVANTAGE OF STORM SANDY AND RAISING THEIR PRICES. I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM HIGHLY.... HE IS HONEST, HARDWORKING AND PROFESSIONAL. ALEX IS VERY GOOD AT WHAT HE DOES. GIVE HIM A TRY.... YOU WOULD BE PLEASED WITH HIS WORK.

Alex installed a generator for my elderly mother in law, whose home is quite a distance from ours. In giving this work to ACA, I was trusting Alex not only to do the work well, but also to treat my mother in law with TLC. He excelled at both parts of the job. He did everything he said he would do, when he said he would do it almost to the minute. He was delightful in his dealings with both my mother in law and me. Although we were not primarily price shoppers, ACA's pricing seemed very good. All of this is even more remarkable in that the work was done shortly after Hurricane Sandy, when companies in this line of work were extraordinarily busy. I couldn't have been more pleased.

Alex and his crew were amazing ! I was referred to ACA electrical from a neighbor who was really happy with his work in the past. We recently purchased a foreclosure type home that needed some serious updating and electrical help so we asked around for a good person. I'm so glad we found Alex. We called and set up the appointment for an estimate on installing some high hats in our poorly lit kitchen. The owner, Alex, was very professional and arrived on time. (Which is a huge thing for me since I have a busy schedule.) We told him what we wanted and he had some great ideas on enhancing the lighting in the kitchen. The final outcome looks terrific ! Now we can finally see what we are cooking. But it only gets better from here. During the project we got to talking about some other electrical deficiencies around the house and he was a wealth of great information. He noticed some electrical code violations as the previous homeowner apparently was a real "do-it yourselfer". So he wound up fixing a lot of the problems that we inherited with the house. Over the next few months we did everything from upgrading our main line to 200 AMP service as well as security cameras over watching the pool and backyard. He was never pushy with his ideas but merely informative and helpful. And I must say, that each time either him or his employees came to the house to work, they were hard-workers and knowledgeable. One of his crews, 2 guys both named Mike, even stayed late into the night working one night just to get the job done for us in time for my daughters birthday party. That was really above and beyond. I will definitely recommend them to my friends , family, and of course Angie's list people. :)

We were having a problem with our dryer at my mother's residence. It was shorting out. We were told by the dryer repair service that this was an electrical problem and we needed an electrician. The other two electricans your service recommended really weren't close enough. I called ACA and Alex responded. I told him that the wires seemed to be crossing and possibly creating a fire hazard. I also told him we had a box above the dryer that held very old fuses. He was concerned enough that he came on a Sunday morning and fixed the problem. This procedure took about 45 minutes. He came back later in the month and installed a dryer vent which was also needed. This time he spent about 30 minutes. He was prompt each time, coming at the agreed upon hour. He was clean and neat in his work area; his rates were reasonable; he is a very pleasant individual; and I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs electrical work.

Came promptly to estimate the job. We agreed on an hourly rate. Alex and his men arrived at the appointed day and time to do the work. The job required electrical skill with wiring diagrams. Job was completed professionally and Alex tested the system before closing everything up. He and his men were prompt, professional, neat and cleaned up when the job was done. I'd hire them again.

I used ACA Electrical for a new piece of property I bought in Nassau County. He wired the entire house which was a 400 amp service. He did everything from start to finish in an 7,000 sq foot home, including all outside work. He also designed the entire electrical plans. He wired the entire house and went above and beyond of what code called for. I highly recommend Alex and ACA Electrical. The owner Alex is one of the nicest contractors I have ever dealt with and is on the job from start to finish. A true professional in all aspects!! My highest recommendation A++++++.
