"I had 5 rooms of carpet cleaned. After he was done cleaning them I realized I waited way too long to have them cleaned. There was such a huge difference in appearance after he was done. Very happy how it all came out looking! In 2 weeks Evolution will be back to clean my upholstery which Iâ m super excited about!"

"Maybe I had bad luck with this team. I made an appointment with Ruby at 8:00 am early morning because she told me that she had another house at 10:30 am. So i am expecting 2/2.5 hours job with my 950 square feet apartment. The team was late 20 minutes and I was kind of worried about the time. I showed Ruby and her team where(kitchen & Bathroom) i needed to be done and hope they can start with the area i care most first. However , after morn than one hour, Rudy and one lady is still working on my little bathroom, and another lady was still cleaning my dining room. My kitchen has not started yet. Ruby also admitted my apartment was maintained pretty well and i hired Ruby's team for some detail cleaning (e.g the kitchen cabinet was greasy and needed to be cleaned inside and out.), since they only had around two hours(what i thought), they probably should have started with what i wanted them to do. Anyway, 3 hours has past, they were still working on the kitchen, i didn't know how she arranged with the other house. my floor was not started till almost 12 clock. My two bedrooms were not touched until i asked them at least to vacuum the floor. I supplied almost all the cleaning products and cleaning clothes. And my 950 square feet apartment only had partial done. :( I ended up paying them 200 dollars (almost 4 hours), and i am still confuse how they manage the time and why they were so slow. Finally they rushed to finish vacuuming my floor. Ruby admitted that i have maintained my apartment pretty clean. I really hoped they managed their time well and listened to what i wanted. The bathroom they cleaned pretty well, but the kitchen and other area was rushed. My floor also was not as clean as what i expected. I give them 3.5 star because if i have them for another 3 hours i believe they could done a better job. But i won't pay 400 dollars for my 950 square feet apartment."

Sonic Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Tile roofs, including clay, concrete, and slate, are considered low-maintenance materials that require fewer repairs and less care than many other roofing options.

  • Clay tiles require minimal maintenance. They stand up well to the elements and UV radiation, repel water, and do not easily stain, discolor, or fade in direct sunlight. Clay tiles do not need sealing. Maintenance is typically only required to replace cracked tiles, which can be caused by foot traffic, extreme weather, or fallen tree limbs.

  • Concrete tiles are also low-maintenance but require more upkeep than clay. They need to be sealed every few years to maintain water resistance, and their color tends to fade more quickly than clay.

Aside from these material-specific needs, general maintenance for tile roofs includes annual inspections, routine gutter cleaning, and addressing repairs as they arise. A well-maintained tile roof can provide 50 to 100 years or more of protection for your home.

It is not advisable to use salt on your roof to prevent or remove ice dams. It’s not only mostly ineffective but can also cause serious damage to your roof itself. Salt can rust metal, damage masonry, pit shingles, and cause runoff that’s damaging to plants and animals.

The best time to clean the outside of your house is during your outdoor spring cleaning. Wait until late spring, after the wave of pollen is done coating your home. You can also wash your house in late fall–before the first freeze–to remove leaves and branches from the gutters.

There are several telltale signs that your roof needs to be professionally cleaned. It's best to hire a professional as soon as you notice any indicators of wear to preserve your roof's longevity. Key signs to look for include:

  • Moss, Algae, or Plant Growth: Look for moss growth, black streaks (which are often a type of black algae), or any other plant life on your roof's surface.

  • Dirt and Grime Buildup: A general layer of dirt and grime can accumulate over time.

  • Leaf Buildup: An accumulation of leaves, especially in the gutters, is a clear sign.

  • Buildup Under Shingles: Dirt and debris can get trapped under the edges of your shingles.

  • Shifting Roof Shingles: While this can indicate other problems, it can also be a sign that cleaning and maintenance are overdue.

  • Comparison to Neighbors: If your roof appears significantly dirtier or different from your neighbors' roofs, that’s another sign it may be time for a cleaning.

You should clean your panels at least twice a year. It depends on your location. In dusty climates (think the Arizona desert), you may need to clean your panels more frequently. Dust can dramatically impact the electrical output. If you live in a climate with extreme weather, you may want to check your panels seasonally.
