From initial phone contact through the completion of the service described above, Mr. O'Connor was professional, punctual, and a pleasure to deal with.

I previously wrote about Keven when I first had him come out to install the 1st light fixture. Nothing has changed. He is still extremely nice, very professional and quite a perfectionist in his work. I can't say enough about the beautiful work he does. I have found the only electrician I want to use in the future because he makes it so easy and pleasant to have work done. He even gave me a discount for being an Angie's list member. I highly recommend him. You won't be sorry!!

Made one inquiry-got a call the same day to set up a day to quote the job- Came the exact day and time set and quoted the job. Set a time to do the job and was again exactly on time on the date. Did the job new ceiling lights and added a duplex and switch combo. Cleaned up like new and did the job as he quoted and in the time he quoted. I have recommended them to all my neighbors

1. Called and left a message explaining what I would like done. Got a call back within 30 minutes and said a guy would be calling within a day to set up a time to review the job. 2. Got a call the next day and set up a time the following day to visit the site and review what I wanted. 3. Came out the next day and we reviewed the job. I had a quote that day. Said he could start the next day. 4. Started the work on a Friday (I paid half up front). 5. Worked on Saturday and Sunday. 6. He finished up on Tuesday. 7. They called on Wednesday as a follow up, I needed some minor tweaks. 8. Came out the next day to perform the tweaks - everything worked as designed.

I was worried about the outlets in my house, and also wanted a quote for replacing the outside main electric box. I called O'Connor Electric and left a message. Shortly after that, they returned my call and offered to send someone out that day, which was not convenient for me. However, they came the next day, calling first to see if arriving early would be okay, which it was. The electrician was friendly, respectful, and helpful. He did his job quickly. He did have to leave to get a special part, probably the electric outlet for the bathrooms. I do not know if I was charged for his time to do so because the receipt was not the usual lengthy descriptive one. At my request, the electrician did write a brief description of what was supplied. He also told me the hourly rate for labor.

Well, I didn't exactly know what was wrong exactly. My renters just called to tell me that a few sockets weren't working in the home and that the dryer in the home had stopped working. As this home was build in the 60's, I feared it was about due for an electrical overhaul. I was so afraid it was something extremely serious. I called the highest rated electrician on A's list, Mr. O'Connor of O'Connor Electric. He was great at diagnosing the problem. A previous handyman had not placed the sockets correctly. So Mr. O'Connor corrected this-- and went on to repair a dryer connection as well. Very bright man. Very honest and charges an extremely affordable rate. Would use him again definitely!

Very fast to return my call, showed up on time, kept us informed on everything that they were doing, and very professional.

Had an electrical problem that I wasn't comfortable dealing with so I left O'Connor Electric a message late on Friday night. Kevin called me back within and hour and asked me some questions and gave me some advice on what to look for and if it wasn't as serious as I originally feared that I might be able to fix it on my own. He said if I couldn't fix it he would call Sunday morning and set up a time to come to the house and take a look. His description of the problem and how to fix it were great and I felt comfortable after talking with him to try and fix it myself. I was able to fix it myself and he called Sunday morning to make sure just like he said he would. Overall Kevin was great, responded promptly, followed through on what he said he'd do and most of all was willing to take the time to ask me questions rather then just setting up an appt. and charging me a lot of money for something simple. If I ever have any electrical related questions or problems I would not hesitate to call Kevin again.

Several outlets in the bathrooms and garage plus 2 light switches stopped working.We checked the breaker box and couldn't find the problem. Kevin returned my phone call within the hour. When I described the problem to him he knew exactly what was wrong and was able to walk me through the steps to correct it over the phone at no charge. We really appreciate his honesty and will definitely contact him for future electrical work. Will also recommend him to friends and neighbors.

Had had a timer for front garage lights that died. Called electrician I had previously used for past six years and experienced "no show, no call". Called the old electrician again and he apologized said he would be out next day between 8-9 am. Showed up at 930 and I told him he was again late. He apologized again and left. Wife recommended Angie's List. I went in and purused electricians and selected O'Connor Electric. Mr. O'Connor made appointment and communicated when changes in date and time were necessary. He showed up on time and completed his work in a professional manner. Excellent experience with a professional!

It did not go. I was not given the courtesy of a return call.

Power to one bathroom went out, rest of house OK, normal checking for tripped circuit breakers didn't help. Called on a Sunday afternoon, call returned within the hour. The proprietor was here next morning. Major kudos to him for letting my husband follow him around and ask questions (lol). Would definitely use him again!

This man is absolutely fabulous. I contacted him originally to get a price for installing my 2 ceiling fans. His price was more than fair, so I hired him for the job. He came on time and started working immediately. There was a defect in one of my fans (a relay had come loose). Rather than just tell me that the fan cannot be used, he proceeded to take the fan apart and fix the problem. Luckily the second fan was fine.He then proceeded to recommend that I get a ceiling fan remote, which I did not know I could buy aftermarket. Once he was done, I asked him what I owed him, expecting to pay a higher price than originally quoted since he had additional work that was not in the quote. I was shocked......he did not charge me any extra. Now here's an honest man. I was extemely impressed and I do not get impressed easily. I am now hiring him again for a surround sound installation and I can honestly say that as long as he is in the business, he will be my electrician of choice.

He did an excellent job over several days and I have ask him to give me installtion quotes on two more projects and maybe will ask for more quotes.I intend to re-hire depending on quotes. He is a fine polite gentleman who knows his business. He is on time, does good work and fixes and adjusts more as necessary. I would re-hire without question.

He answered right away, he showed up righ away and the work was excellent. Fast friendly service and I will definitely use him again.

Kevin and his workmate Dan arrived on time and ready to get started, Dan had a good nature/character and friendly demeanor. Kevin was extremely knowledgeable and provide helpful information on position of ceiling fans and how to maximize airflow within the room. The installation went extremely well and completed in the specified time. I was very please with the work done and the clean-up of the area which was used during the installation. I would recommend Kevin to all of my friends and anyone who are looking for new or upgrade electrical or light fixtures. Once we pick out the other light fixture, I will contact Kevin for installation of that fixture as well.

Great experience. It was a pleasure doing business with him and I'd recommend him to anyone without hesitation.

Came out did the job and the price was right and then we lined him up to do more work (2 projects) in future.

My parent's had a breaker that was continually shutting off and I needed Kevin to come check it out. Also there was an outlet in the living room that had no power to it. Kevin came out and checked out the wiring in the house. He explained the breakers and what was probably happening (too many electrical heaters for that breaker). He was also able to tell us what was happening in the wiring box (as this was a new house for us and we didn't know how things were wired). We were able to understand better how the wiring was configured. It also helped that Kevin said we had top-of-the-line breakers and wiring box because we weren't sure since the house has been added on to at least 3 times. So Kevin's information put us at ease about how things were. Kevin is an honest, down to earth guy and explains things in layman's terms so we can understand the technical stuff. I appreciated that there's never a question about him wanting us to upgrade or put something else in that we don't need. He explains the problem, and if he can repair it he'll do it without any worry about being taken advantage of. While Kevin was there I asked him to check out a wall plug that had no power. Kevin was able to open the plug and see that it had been miss-wired and repaired that for us so we have power from that outlet. This is the second time I've worked with Kevin and highly recommend him to anyone who had electrical problems, questions, or new stuff to be put in.

KEVIN ARRIVED ON TIME , INSPECTED THE GFI SWITCH AND CONNECTED OUTLETS, AND SUGGESTED I REPLACE THE GFI. WITH THE $25 COUPON HE OFERS ANGIE'S CUSTOMERS, IT MADE THE SERVICE CALL EVEN MORE REASONABLE. I WOULD DEFINITELY USE KEVIN AGAIN FOR MY ELECTRICAL NEEDS!

The estimate was expensive. He showed up on time and did a good job. When I called in, he called right back.

Everything went very well. He is a great guy. He cleaned up well and was done in a few hours. It was pleasure to have him do the work.

This was possibly the best experience we've ever had on a service call, because Kevin is a great electrician and an even better problem solver. We have been in our house for just a few months, and some electrical issues have been impossible to figure out. He was able to get our undercabinet halogen lighting working (and showed how to disassemble the fixtures to more easily install the tiny, awkwardly-positioned bulbs). He quickly diagnosed the real problem with our gas fireplace switch, which was cracked inside from overuse by the previous owners. The best part was how little time it took him to resolve wiring issues that had rendered 2/3 of our landscape lighting unusable. We would definitely recommend Kevin wholeheartedly if you're in need of quality electrical service at a fair price.

As a recent widow, I have the memory loss that comes with grief and I could not remember the name of the electrician my husband and I had always used. I called Mr. O'Connor's home number (provided on Angie's). His wife answered and put him on the phone. Although he had no idea who I was and he was clearly enjoying a Saturday with his family in late December, he immediately agreed to come over. He was professional and friendly and did a terrific job. I meant it when I told him that I will always be calling him when I need an electrician.

Great experience. Kevin arrived earlier than promised. Listened to what I had to say. Immedeately started checking switches explaining why. He was very thorough and found the bad connection he said was probably the culprit. He fixed it . He's got a really good sense of humor and very amiable. This man will be my electrician from now on.
