Kevin was prompt at returning my phone call when I first phoned for an estimate. He explained what he would be doing in my home in detail, so I understood everything that was going to be done. When he arrived at my home for the service, he took care with my furniture and applicances that had to be moved for the service, making sure nothing would be scratched or damaged. The overall job took a day and a half due to the amount of time he had to spend crawling around my attic. He did inform me at the start that this would be the case. During the time of service he checked all my outlets in the house to determine that everything was working properly. At that time he checked a outlet in my kitchen which broke while he was checking it. This outlet was faulty before he checked it, even though it was not his doing that the outlet broke, he still came back to my home and replaced the outlet so that it worked properly and did not charge me a service fee. He told me at the beginning that when he leaves a job, he makes sure that the job is done properly and his clients home is kept safe. And this is exactly what he did for me. I would most definitely recommend O'Conner electric.

Arrived on time and did an excellen job at a very reasonable price. Kevin is very knowledgeable and congenial. I can recommend him to anyone.

Terrible. He didn't know what he was doing. He couldn't figure out what was wrong. He was swearing while he was working and didn't have any ideas about what we should do. We had to suggest going to home depot to get a new one, which he then put in. I would *never* use this guy again.

After a slight hiccup on the day we had an appointment, Kevin apologized and we rescheduled. He was very punctual the next day. He called 30 minutes before arriving to confirm. He is very competent. My husband was an electrician in his working years so I am able to judge how well a journeyman electrician performs his work. I was very pleased at how quickly the work was done. I was impressed at how Kevin evaluated my messed up pool lighting and reworked the wiring in the timer box. There were several unsafe problems which he fixed. Kudos for excellent work! He knows his business and I think the price was fair for a licensed and bonded contractor. You will not be sorry if you hire him. It is so important that your electrical work is done to code.

WoW! I called Kevin at 8:00 am and I told him it was an emergency I'm a single mom, I don't know whats going on and I need help. He was at my house in less than 30 minutes. He was teaching me step by step what was going on with my breaker and how it was connected to what was going on in the house. He checked everything and fixed the issue. The cost of the service was great. At the end of the service my house was 100% again. Thank you Kevin for being here so promptly. That is unheard of in a city like this. Our service man returned my call in a prompt manner. We set up a date for an estimate and he came as scheduled. I accepted his quote and he performed the work requested the same day. He was very thorough, explained everything he was doing & why and I would definetly use his services in the future if needed.

Reviewed evaluations provided by other Angie's list users and chose O'Connor Electric. I spoke with Kevin O'Connor that same afternoon and made an appointment with Kevin for sometime between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. the next day. Kevin arrived at 10:40 a.m. I expected that he would evaluate the problem and then schedule a later date for the repair. This is what happened. Kevin checked the GFC outlet in question. That outlet was not functioning; was warm to the touch, and had actually begun to melt. It was a fire and tragedy about to happen. Then Kevin checked all GFC outlets to ensure he identified the entire problem. To my surprise and delight, Kevin not only identified the problem that day, he replaced the defective GFC outlet before leaving. As he was working he explained what he was doing and why he was doing it. He even checked out an outlet my brother installed to ensure it was properly wired. His service and parts fees were very reasonable. I will definitely use Kevin for future requirements including planned remodeling projects.

Identified the problem and fixed flood light on initial visit. Agreed to purchase replacement bulbs and replaced a a scheduled future date. Was quick, compliant, and reliable. Will use again.

we contacted o'connor electric and within a day we were contacted by hugh one of the electricians. he came over the following day, listened to what we were requesting and by that afternoon had an estimate for us. when he came to the house it was apparent that he knew exactly what to do and with that in mind we hired o'connor electric. we set up an appt. and three days later hugh came with another electrictian and did a wonderful job. our side walkway is now secure with a motion detector and the back yard is very well lit up. the ceiling fan is in and very secure on the patio cover. we were very pleased with the job, they didn't rush through the work and were here for four hours. we would definitely use o'connor electric again and will recommend them to friends who need any electrical work.

Kevin responded quickly to my email and we scheduled an appointment. He was on time. In fact, he called thirty minutes ahead to let me know he was on the way. Kevin hung my chandlier and was extremely patience with me as I decided what height was the perfect spot. I will call him again when I have an electrical job.

The fixture was replaced without incident and Kevin did a great job and left the room neat. He even looked at another flourescent fixture in a closet that we were having a problem with and made sure that was working before he finished. He also adjusted the price as he said the job went quicker than estimated.

We called O'Connor electric when a circuit wasn't working correctly. The problem turned out to be embarrassingly obvious (naturally), but Kevin was understanding, didn't make us feel like idiots and even gave us a significant discount in light of the simple nature of the job. If we have problems in the future, we will definitely call O'Connor Electric again.

All electical work was done in a quick manner and comleted within the timeframe.

The first time was right after an inquiry, and the second time was a month later. I had him come out to do two different jobs. I spent $125 on one service and $310 on the other. His prices are very fair. He worked on weekends and also did emergency calls. There was no particular work schedule. I would use him again.

The entire process was very smooth considering there were eight fans, most with lights, to assemble and install. He was shown the rooms/fans and set right to work. I would recommend him to anyone needing electrical assistance.
