O'Connor Electric

Great experience working with Kevin. He was very detailed and was fair on his pricing. I really liked how he was able to add me as a Saturday appointment on short notice. Finally, Kevin will troubleshoot the situation to the least expensive and then give choices to the customer. Overall, I had a really great experience and would definitely recommend Kevin!

Kevin arrived early, surveyed what needed to be done and started his work. He accomplished all that needed to be done in an efficient and timely manner. He was not only quick but very neat. He cleaned as he worked. I would not hesitate to call O'Connor Electric again and would be confident in recommending him to my friends, relatives and neighbors.

We had several outlets that were not working and none of our breakers were tripped. Kevin answered the phone and immediately begin troubleshooting the problem and was able guide us through the very simple fix (we weren't aware of a separate GFi outlet)without coming out and charging us for a service call. We are very appreciative and will definatly use him in the future.

Kevin came to my home and fixed my electricity problem quickly. He was friendly and provided referrals to other service providers. He also honored my angieslist coupon verbally.

Kevin is excellent and well worth the wait to schedule a job since he is a one person operation/company.It is a joy to find a tradesman with the knowledge and abilities of Kevin. They are hard to find in Vegas. He is excellent for a homeowner because he is knowledge, pleasant, helpful and he cleans up the job site well.He is on time and does not waste time when he is doing a job. He is well worth hiring.

We had sparks coming out of one of the electrical outlets in our living room, which then tripped all the outlets in the room. I was concerned that this was going to be a major job. When I called O'Connor Electric, they went out their way to fit us in to their busy schedule. He was punctual, and called one hour before he arrived to let me know exactly what time he'd be there. When Kevin showed up, he was very professional and explained everything to me in detail and in a way I could easily understand. He fixed the problem quickly, with very little mess. He had us up and running in less than 10 minutes. And at very little cost! He will be my electrician for all future projects and I would recommend him to anyone with any kind of electrical problem or need.

Kevin arrived at our home and spent an hour performing a very thorough trouble shooting examination of our problem. He told us what he had found and the corrections needed, he also pointed out that our kitch en lights needed replacing. We concurred with his reasoning. I showed him i5 amp circuits I had in the garage and that he could use that and it would save him time and money for parts. Kevin stated that no he would have to install all new equipments and the time would be seven hours. Kevin came back at tjhe appointed time and started work. I am 69 and have dimentia and mesothelioma so I do not get around to well plus I am almost blind. Kevin came out to get me to tell me he was completed, after only two hours. I was surprised he was done so quickly. Every thing worked correctly so we paid him. Later I saw he had done as I reccommended. Saving huim 5 hours of labir and most of his material costs. It still cost his original estimate of $645.00 I do feel he did a great jobhowever I think the cost should have been revised by quite a bit. Jerry

Kevin was very responsive to our call. Our former electrician still hasn't called us back, so he will be replaced by O'Connor Electric. Kevin showed up on time, quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it in a very timely manner. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him for any electrical service.

The switch broke. We called Kevin. He said he would be there in an hour. 90 minutes after we called it was repaired. We very happy with the work and the speed. Kevin charged us a reasonable amount. He told us he has been an electrician for 30 years.

Kevin was on time and did a very professional job. He provided me a military discount even without me asking for it. After he completed the job, we discussed future electrical upgrades and Kevin provided me rough estimates for these jobs. I will be sure to have him return in the near future to complete these additional jobs.

We think we've found our electrician for the future! We intend to call O"Connor Electric again soon without looking further.

Overall, things went very well. Kevin troubleshooted fountain switch problem and was able to remedy and correct in a reasonable anount of time. Outside light was beyond repair and was sucessfully replaced. Kevin has performed other electrical work for me in the past and I find him to be pleasant and professional as well as a reasonable priced and competent electrician.

I contacted him via e-mail when I saw his ratings on Angie's list. We set up a time a week or so ahead of arriving in Las Vegas. He was very accomodating.

First of all i would like to say that i forgot to mention to Kevin that I was an Angie's list member which would have saved me $25 but that also means that I didn't receive any special treatments or discounts from him just to get a good review, etc. Kevin came by my house at around 8am which was the exact time we had made the appointment for. He listened to my problem which was that my GFI outlet in the garage was tripping way to much from just turning on the lights in my bathrooms. He did some tests and new exactly how to fix my problem. He finished the job which he said was to replace the outlet with a new and better model and also rewire it to not include the lights in the bathrooms which he said was not necessarily needed. He explained everything to me thoroughly and answered all my questions even giving me some other advice to help me from not having to call an electrician and save me some money in the future. I'm a new homeowner and not very knowledgeable with normal rates or costs of such types of work, but I gave Kevin a B in price because I'm pretty sure that you can buy a good GFI outlet for around $25, and he charged me $125 and worked for around 45-60 minutes which includes the time from when he first arrived to when he was done with the work, which means he charges $100 an hour for his services which seems a little high. Overall he was courteous, punctual, seemed very knowledgeable and I am very happy with the work he performed he deserves rest of the A ratings that i gave and I will definitely be calling him again if anything goes wrong.. I called kevin in the am, and made an appointment for that afternoon. showed up promptly and had my backyard lights working in less than an hour! Professional and courteous, would highly recommend him. We have two other projects and he gave me a quote while he was here. Excellent rapport, will be seeing him again soon for the rest of our electrical needs!!

I contacted O'Connor Electric from an Angies List referral. Mr. O'Connor came out to my father's residence, which is currently unoccupied and for sale. I was having problems with the breaker switch in the electrical box which turned out to be broken. The electrical box itself was unhinged and there were several wires just hanging out of the box, which also didn't look right. Mr. O'Connor quickly and professionally assessed what needed to be repaired and was rather calm about the mess my father's circuit board was in. He told me the wires hanging off the box were circuits which were "hot" when the electricity was on. Although this completely freaked me out, he was completely calm about it all. He came back a few days later and fixed everything, replaced the breaker and put all the circuits back in the circuit box where they belonged. I definitely will use O'Connor Electric in the future.

After buying a HUD home, we found that some of the outlets were not working. I called Kevin and we set up a 9:00 am appointment. The day before that appointment he called to let me know that he would not be able to be there at 9:00 am but would be there by 11:00 am. He showed up at 10:30 am. Kevin checked out my electrical box to insure it was in good order. He fixed the outlets that were not working and verified that every other outlet was working and wired correctly. He installed a digital thermostat downstairs and was going to install one upstairs but found that it was a double wired system and recommended that the HVAC repair install it since it was connected to the downstairs system. Kevin was a true professional and really seemed to care that everything worked correctly.

Kevin called to scheduelle, called when en route, showed up on time, gave a fair quote, set up a time to conduct the work, again on time everytime and the key to Kevin was he cared. My wife and I were very impressed by the way he took his time listened to us, explained everything to us and solved all the issues we were having. When he was done my wife and I both agreed he is our go to guy for anything Electrical we need done! Just as an aside, he is a Patriots fan, but if you can get past that as I had to :), you'll be very glad you did!! Thanks Kevin for an excellent job!

I called O'Connor Electric based on the reviews on Angie's List. Kevin came out the next day. He was extremely professional and knowledgable and explained everything to me as he was performing the work. He was also very friendly. I would definitely recommend him to anyone and will call him again if needed.

The electrician took his time to investigate the problem; he explained what was wrong, and resolved the problem quickly.

It went Great . I was told last year by mister Sparkie I needed a new brecker box. They told me it would be $5000 and to me that is a lot of money. my heater worked the rest of last year. put when this year came around the ac/heater man who I found out today that Mister Sparkie and one hour air are one and the the same. said we could try to lower the amp and cut it in hafe it should work. but it did not. so for the last 3-4 weeks we had no heat. thank God it has not been to cold.so today I went on angie's list to find a electric. who could give me a estimate the frist one was Kiven O'connor Electric. I called today and he said he could come out Monday I told him o.k. Then about ten mins later he called back and ask if it was all right if he came today he had a cancle appt. He was there in about tweenty min's. We both went out back to look at the box. Then he said my box was good and all I need was a new breker.Thank God he had one in his truck.It took less than ten mins and cost me only $ 230. Thank God there are still honest people out there. I have recently moved into a different house and the light over the sink did not work. I researched Angie's List and selected O'Connor Electric because of the amount of recent positive reports by Angie's List members. I just recently joined.Kevin O'Connor arrived at the agreed upon time and accessed the situation and began troubleshooting. He fixed the problem as well as correcting other discovered electrical problems.My experience was a very good one and I will continue to use O'Connor Electric for any future electrical work.
