O'Conner could not make appt. he was too busy already. kudos to the man for recommending desert home. he also answered a slew of questions on the phone. many thanksand again kudos to an honest and helpful contractor.I would recommend and use his services anytime.

Arrived on time and finished the job in the time he said it would take. Had to change our plans a little on application and he had no issue adapted on the fly.

Kevin called in advance to let us know he was on his way and arrived when he said he would. He was able to efficiently identify and resolve the problem. Plus, as an added bonus, he took the time to answer each of my questions, of which there were many, and educate me on how my specific main power switch/circuit board works. Kevin is an exceptional professional and is very well versed in his trade. I would highly recommend him to friends and family. Thanks, Kevin!

O'Connor electric is one of the best service providers I have ever had work on repairs. He was professional, timely, and communicated well regarding scheduling and the work. I used the coupon from his site, and the cost for the services was reasonable.

When I contacted this company, I went through their website, from Angie's list, and sent an email outlining what our needs would be for service. No response after several days, so I called the number and left a message. When Mr. O'Connor finally called back, I explained what we needed done and told him that we had recently purchased a home in Las Vegas, but lived in California, so we would like a weekend appointment initially if possible. He gave us a time on the date that we asked for, 9/7/13. He said he may have to change the time and I told him this was fine, just let me know. In the interim, my interior designer asked to schedule with us at a time that conflicted with Mr. O'Connor's, so I again sent an email asking Mr. O'Connor to give me a call. After 4 days, still no response. When I finally spoke with Mr. O'Connor on 9/3/13, he changed the time to 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, 9/6/13. I told him this was fine; all he was going to do was a walk through to see what work needed to be done. He asked that I send him a text or email with our address (even though I had previously given it to him when we spoke). So, I sent the information via email from his website. On 9/4/13, Mr. O'Connor called and asked why I hadn't sent him the address. When I explained that I had used his same email that is on his website, he mumbled something about needing to change that email. He then asked if he could make an afternoon appointment, to which I agreed. Then almost in the same breath, he asked if he could meet on Sunday morning. I told him that was fine, but that we would like to leave around noon to head back to CA. Then he again asked me for the address and what he was going there for; I explained AGAIN that we needed 3 j-boxes installed, wiring for cable, new kitchen lights and electrical outlets in two places. I explained to him that we need to get the electrical work done in the home before we could do painting and new floors and that my timeline was to have all work done by January 2014. He asked how he would have access to our house and I told him that my husband would take off work and be there anytime that fit his schedule. He then told me that he was too busy and the job was too much. Now, here it is 2 days before we were scheduled to meet with him and I have to find another electrician. I would NEVER recommend this man to anyone and will definitely tell anyone and everyone I can about this situation with this company.

Kevin came out right away and was right on time. He quoted $85/hour for labor to install the lights. He quickly found that the dining room outlets weren't working because of a defective GFI switch that needed replacement. He removed the outdoor plug that was illegally installed (and probably dangerous). He installed the 3 vanity lights. He took an extra minute to show me a GFI in the garage so that I would know where to reset it if needed. He was very courteous and professional. I would and will recommend him to my friends and family.

Called Kevin and explained my problem and make an appointment for him to come and check it out. Kevin arrived right on time and checked my control panel for the Pool Pump Motor and found that there was no power coming into the panel. He then proceeded to the house panel and pulled the cover, checked the voltage and determined that the circuit breaker was faulty. He had another double breaker in his truck and replaced the bad one. Then he proceeded to check everything out and get the pool pump motor turned on and working again. Great job. Will use Kevin again in the future if any more problems arise.

Wonderful job! He was out less than 2 hours after I called on a Sunday! Was very honest and told me I did NOT have to perform an upgrade that another electrician had recommended! I will DEFINITELY use O'Connor Electric again!!!

Wonderful! He responded to my email within one hour and my problem was fixed within two hours! Very knowledgeable. Was very ethical when he would not recommend to redo my entire electrical panel. He recommended only three upgrades. I appreciated his honesty, integrity, and quick response to my call! Will definitely use him again!

Called at 0730 to set up an appointment. He answered the phone right away. Told him what the problem was and he suggested that we could check some things out over the phone. We quickly troubleshot the problem and we fixed it over the phone. Didn't need an appointment and wasn't charged. Solid, honest guy. Will definitely use again and refer to my friends

It went great. He was professional and to the point. And he took care of everything in one visit. Absolutely great!

Kevin had me text pictures of the breaker and meter so he could tell if I needed to have Nevada Power shut off the power first and to be sure he brought the correct part with the correct amperage. He arrived 10 minutes before the scheduled time and was finished in 30 minutes.

Kevin returned my call promptly. We made an appointment and he was on time. I showed him all the things I wanted done and he did a few of them immediately. Because the issue with the park lights needed some research we made an appointment for a few days later. Again, he was on time. He promptly went to work and completed everything ( including a few last minute additions). He was able to fix the park lights after contacting the manufacturer himself. I have had other electricians here in the past and Kevin was the most straightforward with his pricing and for the amount of work done it was fair. His work came with a one year guarentee. I would definitely use him again.

He did a really nice job. He gave me a bid which was fine and the fans were great. I called and he called me back within 10 minutes and we got it scheduled within a couple of days, and so I say he was very responsive. He was punctual, he was here within 20 minutes of when he said he would be here.

The tech never called back as he says he was going to. They did not follow through on the call back so I will be using a company that isn't solely run by one person.

Kevin was very knowledgeable and asked us questions that previous electricians had not addressed. He provided options for us to decide exactly how we wanted the job completed. He is prompt, professional and gets the work done in the time specified.

Said he would send me a quote in 48 hours. Never got the quote. I called and left a message. Never received a reply. I don't mind if you don't want my business, but I expect the simple courtesy of returning my call and letting me know. Updated 7/26/2013: In response to company's response: The proposal was not late, he never sent me the proposal at all. Nor did he call or email me to explain. Pretty unprofessional IMO. My grade stands.

Kevin was able to come out the morning after we called. He fixed the problem right away, quickly and reasonably.

Excellent. The other reviews must be accurate because my experience was the same. This electrician is competent, professional, courteous and timely. Really a breath of fresh air in today's world. Will definitely use him again.

Kevin was the best. he rewired our pool breaker box so that our pool could run through this heat wave and not turn green costing us even more money. He arrived after completing another job in the local area and worked past normal business hours to help us out. He was courteous, fast and very knowledgeable. We have finally found an electrician we can count on.

Mr. O'Connor showed up within the time frame agreed to, performed the work we required, looked at another small project that we have in mind for the inside of our garage and then left for his next appointment. He was fast and wasted no time getting the job done. Not much else to tell, but pretty much the way we like it, get in and get out!! :)

Kevin was excellent. He was not going to be able to come over on the first trip until 3 pm, but due to the emergency nature of the fire alarms going off every 8 minutes - he was here by 11 am after I called him back. He had this fixed very quickly. I then had him out a 2nd time to replace one more smoke detector, and the kitchen lights mentioned above. (Track lights on a very high ceiling)

Kevin checked the wiring for the alarms and found there was nothing wrong, so replaced four of our smoke detectors, and showed me how to replace the battery. He checked and replaced the GFI for the pool cover pump. While he was checking the GFI, he discovered one of our pool lights would trip the GFI when the pool light turned on. He thought moisture had gotten into the light. Kevin was prompt, polite and his work was great. We will only use O'Connor Electric in the future.

We were so impressed with the professionalism of this company and the repairman, I doubt we will ever go with any one else if we have additional problems in this house. The problem was not as simple as he first believed it to be but he showed great care in figuring it out so the power could be returned to my sister's bathroom. We were very pleased with his work and were delighted by the price.

Hire this guy if you need an electrician. One of the most pleasant professionals that I have ever hired to do work at my home. He returned phone call same day. Made an appointment to do the work the same week that I called. He called ahead of time to tell me he would be there in about 30 minutes and showed on time.. Worked constantly from the time he arrived until he finished the job putting up 5 new lanterns on the exterior of the house.. Explained to us why we had problems trying to install ourselves which involved the way the builder recessed the electrical boxes that made it literally impossible for us to do. Cost was extremely reasonable compared to some of the work that we have had to hire done on our home. Angies List sent me a group of electricians to pick from. He was first on the list with all "A" ratings and I see why. I am going to give him all A's too. I would hire him again in a minute if I need electrical work done. Good professionals are hard to find. I am not an easy A. Take my word for it - HIRE THIS GUY.
