When I made my initial phone call, I didn't have to leave a message (a good thing since we wanted the work done ASAP) because Kevin, the owner, answered right then. He promised to be out the next morning between 8:30 & 9:00. He called at 8:45 and said he would be at our home in 15-30 minutes and he was. I so appreciate communication from service professionals and not being left wondering if the appointment has been forgotten. He did the work in an efficient, professional manner, and since we are new to Las Vegas having moved in 10 days ago, he is now our "Official Electrician". We were warned about "flakey guys" on Craigslist who would be cheaper, but frankly I don't want to save $$ with the flakes. Feel confident in hiring Kevin as your electrician!

Kevin called within a half hour of our request for service. He arrived the following morning right on schedule. His pricing was fair and he even suggested ways to keep our cost down! I would not hesitate to recommend him and plan on using him for other projects we have been thinking of.

It went very well. Kevin O'Connor arrived exactly on time. I explained the issues and he completed both repairs in less than half an hour. I have used O'Connor Electric before and because my experiences have been very good, Kevin O'Connor is the only one I call for my electrical issues. Kevin is extremely knowledgeable, he works quickly, the work is done correctly the first time and he arrives at the appointed time. I highly recommend O'Connor Electric.

Kevin put in a 220 line for my dryer which was more work than I thought it would be . He rocked it. He is prompt professional and did a great job. He answers questions without making you feel silly for asking them. If you need an electrician he's the guy !

I called on Thursday and spoke with his wife who told me she'd relay on my call and Mr. O'Conner would call back that afternoon. My call was returned that afternoon and the service appointment was scheduled the next day in the morning. Mr. O'Connor arrived right on time and we discussed what had to be done and my options. Once placement location for the socket was decided Mr. O'Connor performed the job quickly, professionally and left the area clean. He gladly accepted the $25 Angie coupon bringing the final cost to $140.00. Mr. O'Connor was very friendly, polite, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend.

I recommend him. He was very good. He was fast and the price was very fair. He was here for like for two hours, on all those items. I totally think his prices was fair, for what he was doing. He was also really helpful to me asking questions and following along, so I really appreciated that. I'm not going to complain about screws in drywall. That's nothing. He was actually early. I would definitely use him in the future. He'd be my first choice if we have anything to look at in the future.

Because I hadn't received all of the light fixtures in time, Kevin went to work doing what he could. The job is now complete and I'm very happy with how it turned out. He left my house neat and free from boxes, wires, electrical parts, etc. I will always go to O'Connor Electric for all of my electrical work. Kevin arrived on time and completed all repairs within 1 hour! He was very organized and had all replacement parts and required tools in his truck. Kevin is a highly skilled professional that I trust and won't hesitate to call for future electrical repairs/work.

I called at 9:30am and he was able to be at my door less than two hours later. He called a half hour before his arrival and was punctual, friendly, and informative as he did his work. I will be using again. Highly recommended.

Excellent. Arrived on time and even called fifteen minutes before arrival to let us know when he would arrive this day. The work is excellent. Neat, clean and exceeded expectations. Because our lighting now works better the house feels better...things look cleaner even. Also having all our smoke detectors operational makes us feel much safer

He was great. He called to confirm that he was on his way, showed up on time, was professional and interested in helping me to understand what he was doing. Clean and tidy. Great guy.

I contacted him on Monday, after i explained to him the work that needed to be done we agreed that he would come the next day to do the work. On Tuesday, he arrived on time and did the work efficiently and without delay. He also installed a electric outlet cover that I had not though of asking him to do the day before. He was helpfull with questions I had. I am very satisfied with the work he did and will call him back for any other electrical work in the future.

I called O'Connor Electric because it was highly rated by many people but he failed to help me. He called two weeks after the appointment and said he was looking for the switch but had not found it yet. He would contact as soon as he found it. I have waited at least four months and he has not contacted me. I did not want to write an evaluation that was this negative. He placed me in a position that left me no option. I have a medical condition that has required a medical alert. Emergency vehicles need to know which house is correct quickly. Clearly, I need to do research with Dell Webb, the builder. An Angies List contractor may not be willing to find the correct switch. But that does not excuse O'Connor Electric for their unprofessional behavior.

From my phone call for the service to the completion of the job all went well. He worked smoothly, answered my questions and was very pleasant and professional. I will definitely call him in the future if I should need an electrician. I will also happily recommend him to others when necessary.

This was our second time with him. In our bathroom we found out that there were some electrical wires sticking out underneath an electrical area. The wires should have had a box over them so they had been built illegally. That wasn’t up to code so the electrician came, fixed it and put a box on it. He installed some lights in the bathroom. My husband was thrilled. My husband has some electrical training so he knew what he was looking for and this guy did an excellent job. It was the second time we called him because he did a very good job the first time. He did price everything out and tell us ahead of time it as well as give us an estimate and all that good stuff which we appreciate. The quality was excellent, my husband was thrilled. His responsiveness was fine. He came ahead of time which was fine.

f upgrading to a GFI called Kevin on a Sunday, when the outlet my microwave was plugged into shorted out. He called me right back, and made an appointment for the next day at 8am. Kevin arrived on time, listened to my description of the issue, and proceeded to resolve the problem. He explained everything he was doing, and gave me the option of changing to a GFI circuit, which I opted to do. Everything about Kevin was exceptional and professional. He was prompt, knowledgeable, friendly, efficient- if there's a positive adjective, I'm sure it can be applied to Kevin!

Kevin called about 15-20 minutes before our appointment time to say he was on his way. When he arrived he came prepared. He disconnected our old detectors quickly and in very little time had the new ones wired up and ready to go. He also tested each one and showed us what we needed to do to test them because they are a little different than our smoke detectors. We were very pleased with his efficiency and professionalism and plan to use his services again. Thanks Kevin.

Kevin came the following day we contacted him. He checked the fixture and told us that it was fine and because of the time and date in which it was installed, it would last us a while longer. "It was installed when quality was a important part of any job." He then went to the light switch and found however, that it was worn and installed a new one. This is the second time we have used Kevin. We got him off Angies's list originally and will use him in the future for all our electrical needs.

Tuesday - Submitted Job Request Through Angie's List Tuesday - Received e-mail that he would call tomorrow Wednesday - Called as promised. We explained problem. He said he couldn't come till Saturday and would call Friday to set up time.. So far so good. Thursday ------------------ Friday - no call Saturday - no call Sunday - I'm writing this review My impression....Obviously he didn't think our job was worth doing and didn't respect us enough to call us back. A whole week wasted, and our Homeowners Assoc. is not particularly understanding of these situations.

The overhead vanity lights in three of my bathrooms stopped working after a circuit was tripped. I picked O'Connor Electric by reading the reviews on Angie's List. I called Kevin on a Saturday morning and left a message. He promptly called me back (a miracle in Las Vegas). Kevin said he would be out in a few hours. He called me on the way to my house to let me know he was on his way (very good). I showed him the circuit breaker in the garage. He instantly knew what the problem was. He explained the problem to me and then fixed it. Kevin included the Angie's List discount on my bill without me asking. You can pay him with a credit card which I prefer to use. I would not hesitate to hire Kevin again.

Kevin was on early and discussed exactly what he was doing each step he took. He checked he circuit feeding two ceiling box. He narrowed it down to a fan my husband had installed. Once the fan was removed our circuit no longer popped. Kevin is extremely knowledgeable and very patient with us as we asked numerous questions. You can tell he is a skilled electrician and also a business man who believes in customer service. We were so impressed and would definitely use him again.

I have used Kevin in the past and would again in the future.

Called O'Connor Electric on a holiday. The lights over the garage not working properly. The HOA is very prompt with letters about lights not working, so I was very pleased when I talked to Kevin. I told him the problem. He said he would be here in two hours and he was. The problem was the censer, he replaced it and working in less than a hour. Very professional and cordial. From now on I will call Kevin for all things electrical.
