"Thank you for the nice grade. We appreciate it and certainly are very grateful for the opportunity to have worked for you. Should you ever need us again, please do not hesitate to call upon us. Thank you again."
"Thank you very much for your kind words. We appreciated the opportunity to have worked for you and we look forward to servicing your electrical needs again in the future should you need us again. Thank you."
"Thank you for your response. We are very sorry to hear that you were not 100% satisfied with what you purchased. However, please be advised that the work we completed normally retails for $165.00. Also, if we were to "recess" it in the walls, the cost would be well over $200.00. Thus, at $79.00, you got a VERY good deal. We provide a "fine print" so as to eliminate any confusion or misunderstanding on what we are doing. Also, we strive to make sure we deliver an efficient, functional, clean, and operational finished product. Moreover, we keep in constant contact with ALL of customers from initial purchase to final installation. This way there is NO miscommunication or lack of understanding on what we are doing. Lastly, you were provided with the best materials in the industry for this type of work. I.E., a 20 AMP, GFCI outlet as opposed to just a 15 AMP, GFCI outlet and you were provided with a heavy gauge metal outdoor box and code compliant weather proof bubble cover. The fine print read that we would be providing a standard outlet, but in fact, you received a GFCI outlet (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter, which is more than 10 times the cost of a standard outlet). All of which added value and cost to this project at NO additional cost to you - the end user. Again, we are sorry that you did not get what you thought you should have gotten. But, based on the aforementioned description of the work provided, indeed, you got a very high quality project at an extremely discounted price point and labor rate."
"Thank you for your business. We enjoyed working for you."
"Thank for the opportunity to have worked for you. We are very happy to hear that you were satisfied with our performance. Thank you again for the business and enjoy the rest of the holiday season and may you and your family have a wonderful new year."
"Thank you for contacting us. Southwest Electric was in communication with you every step of the way on this project and we let you know exactly the steps that were needed in order to complete this project. We are very sorry that you were not satisfied with the end result, although, we did everything we could to minimize the impact on this job. We even provided you with the contact information for the electrical utility company in case there was a delay in getting the electrical service turned back on. Our technicians were instructed to clean up the entire job site and explained to the customer all of what was done on behalf of the customer. Southwest electric even closed the stucco walls on the exterior of the house and on the interior of the garage. This is something that is normally done by another contractor licensed to do this work, but as a courtesy we closed the walls on the outside and the inside so as to minimize future costs to get this portion done for this job. Also, the way the wires and final terminations were completed, was to a very high standard that is normally done for commercial projects only. Yes, there was a financial balance due at the end of the job for the agreed upon additional work, but clearly, Southwest electric delivered a finish product that is second to none. Also, we expect to get paid upon completion of a job for additional work. Not only did we show up on the scheduled date, and completed everything that was agreed too, but we also coordinated all of the electrical utility companies, the city inspectors, the planning and building division for the electrical permits and technicians to flawlessly finish this project. All of this being said, we are very confused as into why we got such a bad grade from you. We would have appreciated any concerns, or dissatisfaction to be expressed to us the day we were on the job. However, no one expressed any discontent to our technicians on the day we were at your home. Moreover, according to our technicians, the home owners appeared to be happy and satisfied. Nothing was ever mentioned about any dissatisfaction. Please feel free to contact us to further discuss this matter and hopefully we can come to a more amicable resolution so you are not so unhappy with our work. Because as stated above, we believe we did everything right to make sure that customer was indeed, satisfied. Thus, this very bad grade and disingenuous summation of our professionalism is not only unfair, but completely unjust. We would like to know how and where we failed you on this project. Thank you for having given us the opportunity to work for you."
"Thank you [member name removed]. We appreciate the business and certainly enjoyed working for you. Thank you again."
"[Member Name Removed]: We regret to hear that you were not satisfied with out services. The reason why the installer had a four foot ladder with him, was because in most circumstances when installing these holiday lights, that's all we need. We would have been very happy to send him out with a taller ladder if we had known one would be needed. However, since no one contacted our office indicating that a taller ladder was necessary, we assumed this was just another standard installation. Also, when we book our appointments, its generally a window of when we will be there. For example, if we say 8:00a.m. to 10:00a.m. it means we will be there BETWEEN the hours of 8:00a.m. and 10:00a.m. Not that we will be exactly there at 8:00a.m. There are things we cannot control, like traffic, going over our allotted time on another job, etc. Thus, we cannot commit to be on a job on an exact hour. You also pointed out that we were in constant communication with you. Which is something we do with all of our customers. Which is why we are surprised that we were not contacted by either you or the installer to let us know that a bigger ladder was needed. Lastly, you gave us a bad mark / grade on the installation of the work. Our installers ONLY put up the lights as per the direction of the customer. If there was an issue with how the lights were supposed to be installed, these concerns should have been addressed with our office or the technician on the job. Again, I apologize about the dissatisfaction and would welcome your feedback at the office if you care to discuss the matter any further."
"Hi [Member name removed]: Thank you for have given us the opportunity to work for you and your husband [Member name removed]. We truly appreciated the business and we look forward to serving you in the future again should you need to call upon us. I apologize again, about the insulation falling out of the attic and into your closet. However, as we have indicated before, I was not aware of this problem. If we had known about it, we certainly would have taken the appropriate steps to cure this problem. On a more positive note, I am glad to hear that you are happy with your new L.E.D. recessed lights in your kitchen. These lights will last you for many years to come and you won't have to worry about changing the bulbs for many more years. Thank you again for the business, and again we do sincerely apologize about the insulation falling out of the attic and into your closet. Next time we will triple check to make sure this does not happen again. -Tom Sarnelli"
With that strong recommendation we called Tom and had him come out to give us an estimate. Tom reviewed what we needed done, made some recommendations on how to best proceed, and gave us a very reasonable estimate. We hired him on the spot and he started the work almost immediately.
In just a few days he completely prepped our home for two new audio/video systems, installed multiple ceiling fans, and upgraded several fixtures. He also worked directly with our video installer to ensure he was putting outlets and junction boxes in the right places. Put simply, his work was outstanding. We were so pleased we had him come back and install a dozen new ceiling lights in our family room and master bedroom. He even called us back one evening at 1000 pm to help us troubleshoot an air conditioner thermostat problem.
Both my wife and I were impressed by the quality of Tom's work, his professionalism, organization, and customer service. Looking back, our general contractor was right. Tom is the best, and we strongly recommend him for all of your household or business electrical work. Give him a call at Southwest Electric and Solar.
