Our experience with Ark Light/Travis Ortega has been terrible. During the addition to our detached garage, the slab was not placed at the correct elevation, causing a 2.5" difference from the existing slab to the new. The slab was placed in late April and the issue was identified when a wall was taken down in late May. Travis has refused to fix it and says "it's just a garage". To gain benifical occupancy, we had another contractor remove a small portion of the slab to get it to an acceptable elevation in late September. During the demo, we identified that not only was the slab not 4" thick everwhere, it was also lacking all the reinforcing required by our plans and contract. Travis has totally shut down, refusing to talk about the issue at all. The punch list is not complete, they installed heaters where air conditioning/heating units shold have been, and have not been to the site or communicated with us for over a month. What was supposed to be 14-16 week project is now in week 28.

Travis was a delight to work with. He communicated clearly, and made sure that the work was well done. We recommend him highly!
The team at Ark Light Construction is great! They gave me a fair and direct quote. I am very happy with the quality of work that was executed. Travis and his team are efficient and trustworthy. My bathroom renovation looks better than I imagined it would. Ark Light will treat you right! Thank you so much!
I am in another state. Ark light Travis Ortego Gold did a fantastic job hiring inspectors, completing punchline items to bring the house up to code. I am very appreciative.
Reliable, honest, and easy to work with. Runs projects efficiently and takes care of clients.
If I could give them 6 stars, I would. Price was honest and fit the scope, and the workmanship top-notch. They went over and above what my expectations were and I just love the result. Would recommend them for any construction project you might have.
