A total disaster and total disregard and disrespect to human beings.
Description of Work: We purchased a $1500.00 Samsumg refrigerator at Lowes. We also purchased their extended warranty. Our refrigerator stopped working on 07/01(wednesday). We called their service department and they could not set up an appointment until Monday the 6th. Fine, we got rid of everything in the refrigerator. The technician was supposed to be there between 8am and 5pm, they would not give a narrower eta. Comes 5pm, no one shows up, we call them, they said someone was on the way. Around 7pm this person shows up, keep in mind, we did not get 1 phone call and my wife had missed a full day of work for no reason. They said a part needed to be ordered and for us to call them once the part came in. A week later the part comes in, we call them to schedule another appointment, they could not come in for another 3 to 4 days. When they do come, they install the part, and repair the refrigerator. Next day, refrigerator is broken again. We call them, explaining that we now have been without a refrigerator for almost 3 weeks, and had lost another full load of groceries, they could not send someone for another 4 days. They were supposed to be there between 12pm and 5pm. 5 pm comes and no phone call and no show, another missed work day and no one had the decency to call to say they were not coming. When we called the service center to complain,they said "well, they were supposed to be there".. Well, someone shows up at 10pm, and said they needed another part. Same ordeal, wait for parts, wait for appointments, they finnally show up, fix it and then it is broken again, next day. After struggling for another appointment, they send another technician who finnally decided the refrigerator is unrepairable, meanwhile more than 6 weeks have gone by, two loads of grocery lost and no solution. We paid for the extended warranty and have been avoided ever since we placed the first service call. A superviseor was supposed to call back, never did. We have been treated with total disrespect for our time, jobs and living. We will end up buying a new refrigerator. When the sales person is trying to sell you the extended warranty, they promise you the world, but when you really need it, they do not want to hear from you.
