"As a single, female homeowner I rely heavily on customer reviews when it comes to selecting contractors for home repairs. Therefore, I take submitting my reviews seriously and am always completely candid. With that said, I am submitting this review to express my satisfaction with the chimney cleaning and chimney liner replacement performed by Daren of Gallo's Chimney Sweep. Daren (and his brother-in-law, whose name escapes me) were both extremely professional and personable. Daren provided pictures of my chimney, which clearly showed I had a problem. He patiently explained in detail (including the required materials) what should be done to rectify the problem. There were no 'hard sale tactics' nor any pressure to sign a contract. After making a few calls and conducting my own research on the Internet I discovered his quote was very reasonable. We agreed on a date/time and he arrived as scheduled. They reviewed completed stages with me throughout the project to make sure I understood what they were doing and why. Once the job was complete, they cleaned up all the debris. "All-Season Chimney repaired a very difficult chimney (2 1/2 story hip roof), adding replacing the liner and adding a cap and applying new parging over the brick. (Had even cleaned out the chimney base while doing the estimate evaluation.) Came on time, did a great job quickly, cleaned up afterwards and it all works 3 months later and it looks great. If I had another chimney needing repair I'd call them back tomorrow."

"I had three different chimney companies come out for estimates, including Bricks. Bricks was the only one that bothered to actually thoroughly inspect my two fireplaces and wide chimney, discovering that one of my dampers was broken and more. The whole chimney needed to be stuccoed because the veneer stone on it was falling apart, and previous owners had covered a lot of it (foolishly) in roof tar. Bricks was the only company that thoroughly explained everything wrong, without using scare tactics. They were nice and patient, and I’m confident if anything goes wrong with the repair, they’d come out to fix it. It was a pricey job, but doing things right is often pricey. Worth it, though."
