Larry did a great job cleaning. But I wish he knew more about water testing. setting up the controls....he said he didn’t know how to do it. I was surprised about that. He was good and hustled but just the very basics....I was looking for and needed more full service information and help.

Punctual, professional and fair price

I only shaved off .5 from a couple of categories because the work was just completed and there is no way to know the quality or value of the work in terms of whether it will stand the test of time. However, I can't praise the customer service or proficiency enough. Larry and his assistant wasted no time, solved the problem, replaced what needed to be replaced, got the tub working again and completed the job in under an hour. They really know what they're doing.

Punctual , professional and a fair price

They screwed me good . They came and in about 15 minutes found the issue and I paid them $150 for the part which was $35 on line and $180 to walk in for 15 minutes. They were supposed to be at my home at 4 pm and arrived at 750 pm with no call. After 4 weeks, the part finally came in and they came back. Once again, 4 hours later than expected, and put the part in. All of 5 minutes and charged me another $222 for service and the part. They said the original $150 was an estimate. So, all in all, they charged me over $$450 for a very easy fix. But here is the best - they could not get my heater to start which has been great for many years and just left and said they would have to come back and do a diagnosis. They stink and are ripoffs. You should not have them on Home Advisor. I notified my attorney of the ripoff. He is trying to get my money back and force them to fix the existing problem.

Service was excellent. They were on time, efficient, knowledgeable and prepared. My hot tub had not been used in YEARS and they had all the parts and materials necessary to get it up and running. Outstanding !!!! I used it the very next morning. Ahhhh !!!

Hi-Tech Spa Services website claims that they can completely rebuild your old spa and make it like new again and was very misleading to me. I called Larry to repair a leak from our soaking tub in the master bathroom. On the phone, I explained that the leak was coming from a pipe that attached to the pump that powered the jets in the tub. I sent him two pictures to show him the area of the leak. At no time did he tell me that he doesn't do tile work. After arriving to my home and exploring the problem for about 10 minutes, he told me he would be unable to access the area needing repairs because tile would have to be removed on the exterior of the tub to access the leak. He told me I'd have to hire someone else to remove the tiles (and then replace the tiles after he completed his work) before he could make the repair. He was at my home for about 20 minutes, accomplishing nothing, and then charging me over $190 for a service call, none of which would be credited toward coming back and actually doing the repair. This doesn't sound to me like his claim that they can completely rebuild your old spa and make it like new again. Larry should fully disclose the type of work he doesn't do and he should have known tile work would be involved since I had told him that the repair was for a leak from an area around a bathroom soaking tub. I feel cheated and ripped-off. In my view, treating customers this way is morally unacceptable!!

The man came and did the job, although while he was fixing the problem I hired him for, another problem unexpectedly occurred. I can't say if was coincidental or deliberate, but any rate it cost me another $233 to fix . Also, left all the dirt in my tub and bathroom. But he did have the parts needed so another visit is not necessary.

Had great expectations from reviews. Knowledgable but wasn't able to diagnose the issue or fix the problem due to restricted access to the jacuzzi. Was charged full though. Did not help our cause a bit.

Hi-Tech was prompt and efficient to diagnose and repair a jetted bath tub within an hour. However, it took my breath away when Larry charged me $145 for a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter that I could buy at Home Depot for $30. But I'm thankful that I found the right person to do the job.

Larry was easy to work with and got me scheduled within a week of my first call to him. They called to let me know they were on they were on the way to my home. Larry and another tech arrived and got right to work. They found 3 issues with my 15 year old tub and gave me the option of only fixing the main problem which was my circulation pump. They had the part right on the truck so they were able to get me up and running in less than one hour. My cost for the labor, parts and tax was a bit over $500. I will probably have them come back in the spring to replace another pump. I was concerned that they were expensive, and they are, but they got the job done in less than an hour so I think they are worth it! I'm enjoying my tub again.
