I have a 10 year old Spa. About 2 years ago another repair company charged me $1500 for a repair that did not fix issue - spa continued to leaked and have issues and after about 3 months I dis-connected and assumed it was a lost cause. I found Larry online - he showed up, had all necessary parts on his well stocked van and had spa fixed at a very reasonable price in about an hour.

Unlike other companies that I had called earlier, Larry came prepared to fix the problem, not just to talk about it. Other companies charged me for the visit just to inspect the unit and prepare an estimate. Larry diagnosed each and every problem, had the required parts on his truck and in two hours had totally reconditioned my spa. Fantastic - responsive, knowledgeable, pleasant, efficient, and reasonable in pricing.

first time i contacted homeadvisors-Larry text'd me and said he has worked on my spa when previous home owner lived here. Called him in June came 1 week later, said i needed pump even though i didnt see leak on that side of spa.Claimed that was the problem, came back 4 weeks later installed it now i have 2 leaks. Every visit exceeds 200 dollars and nothing has been fixed yet. We are now in Aug. and i need someone wo's gonna fix the problem right the first time. already spent 2000.00 for nothing.

UPDATE 6/12/2016 - (SEE INITIAL REVEW BELOW) I went ahead and purchased a control board to repair my spa as recommended by Larry at Hi Tech.. I had someone else recommended by home advisor to install it. The first thing he did was test what he called "the basics". After a few tests he asked me why I wanted to replace the board? I went on to explain the recommendation from Hi Tech was the board failed and the heater was constantly on. I even went on to explain that Larry even demonstrated it. Me not knowing and having him immediately quote me a price, he was the pro. So I did. I am extremely upset at the fact that the board is functional, furthermore, I could have been using my spa. But the thing is the professional who came to my home, duplicated the issue Larry from hi tech showed and diagnosed. He could have installed the board if I wanted, but he recommended I return it and get a refund since it was not needed. So now I could lose 20% due to a restocking fee for a board that was never needed in the first place. FIRST REVIEW 5/16/2016 - Larry was great and gracious in fitting me in the same day. He came and had the spa running by the time I came to the house 15 min or so later. To me when I'm told the spa is in working order and things are up and running. I consider it a job well done. But then I asked about a replacement cover and the price of the cover was not reasonable. Moreover I would have to pick it up or be charged additional for delivery. Not unreasonable, but the cost of the cover was not reasonable. I then asked about a ozonenator and that is when it went bad. He agreed on a price and he installed it. Upon turning it on, he "identified" circuit board was bad and I needed a new one. Now a $400 job, turned quickly to a $1,000 when you throw on the chemicals and cover. I texted my friend who has a hot tub and he turned me into his service guy and I texted him while he was fiddling around with the diagnosis. All in all, I decided to tell him I would look online and order the cover and board. The cover is slated to arrive this week for $399 (upgraded and 5" thick foam and 3" grade. instead of the 3 weeks he told me) and instead of a $480 board. I am getting a new control board and top display from CalSpa at $500. I already received the board (which I don't know if it's good or not) but I'm taking his word. What bothered me is that he did not check everything, had he told me before installing the ozonator the board was bad, I would have felt better. But the job went from 200 to 400. And I then felt it was getting out taken advantage of.
