Steve was everything you could want in a Home Inspector. Very fast response to my inquiry, punctual, and PROFESSIONAL! I had Steve inspect a home that I was looking to purchase. Steve helped me avoid a huge problem. Upon inspection of the home, Steve found extremely hazardous mold in the attic. The mold was not obvious to the average person such as myself, but he noticed some things that made him suspect possible mold. He recommended a mold test, and sure enough, there were 3 different types of mold growing in the attic. He also noticed a major problem in the foundation of the home that I hadn't noticed myself. After declining to purchase the first home, I hired Steve again to inspect another home I wanted to purchase. Based on the previous experience I had with him, I felt very confident when Steve told me the second house was a good one, and there was nothing to be concerned about. On both occasions, Steve was detailed and thorough with his inspection process. He communicated with me throughout the process to ensure I understood everything he was doing, and why he was doing it. He happily answered any and all of my questions. I would highly recommend AAA Home Inspections to anybody.

I actually looked up this Home Inspector for my father-in-law. They were looking for an inspector for a house they were buying and wanted to use Angie's List to try and find the best one for them. All I could say is that I'm sorry I wasn't a member when I was buying my house. Everything went really well with AAA Home Inspections! Stephen was very responsive, punctual, and professional! He did a very thorough job and my father-in-law was very satisfied with the report he received from him. I would definitely recommend him to someone else that is in the process of purchasing a house!

It went amazingly well. Here's why... He was quick and easy to talk to and to schedule my home inspection at a time that worked best for me. He talked to me prior to showing up so that we were on the same page of what we were looking for, and delivered on his promise to look at items discussed prior. His report was timely and extremely thorough - thorough enough for the seller of the property to agree to make repairs (or make concessions) for everything noted in his report. I was running late the day of the Inspection. I asked him to start the outside without me... he did. It went as perfectly as possible. I have had previous home inspections, and went into this one skeptical - due to the nature of the previous ones I've had. I can not say enough how positive this experience was. To say he is the best of the bunch would not be an understatement. He takes pride in his work, and it shows. I recommend him 100%. THANK YOU!

Everything turned out perfect. I did not buy the house he inspected because he was quite thorough in his inspection and found more issues. He was very good with structural things. His pricing was quite reasonable and competitive. He was punctual and absolutely on time.

Steve really helped us out in a pinch. During Super Storm Sandy we like many others lost power. We have a backup aux generator, but when we turned it on and switched the main panel to the generator our well pump was not working. We called several well pump technicians and although they were sensitive to our need they were unable to respond. They did however ask us to check to see if we were getting 220v to the well pump. We called Steve at AAA Home Inspectors and he was able to come over and assist. He was able to determine that we were not getting 220v at the pump, so we then had to find out why. The generator should have been providing 220v and 110v but we were only getting 110v. Steve traced the problem through the main panel eliminating possibilities along the way. He then examined the generator to find that it was producing 220v but it was not traveling through the cord. At that point he checked all the connectors and determined loose connections in the plug and receptacle. Once it was all tightened up everything worked fine. We got 220v to the house and the pump worked fine. Steve really did a great job. Responsive, professional and knowledgeable. His patient approach worked well by eliminating possibilities and then getting to root cause. Really appreciated the support and would call him again.

My water heater was leaking and I reached out to AAA Home Inspection and they were able to come out immediately! Stephen Appolonia was able to diagnosis it immediately. I had a bad TPR value. My husband is very handy and so gave me the option of fixing ourselves or he could do the work. He explained what we needed, I went out and got it, and had it fixed in no time! Who does that??? He was more concerned about getting my problem fixed than taking me to the cleaners! He was ready and willing to do the work if I needed it or it we ran into problems.
