Jason was punctual, pleasant and professional. Although it could have been challenging to diagnose the problem because of the multi-switch system, Jason was able to fix the problem quickly and restore my kitchen light to working condition. I recommend him highly.

Jason and his brother came out for an estimate. They were great about calling me to let me know when they would be arriving on if they were running late and rescheduling. They were incredibly thorough and gave me some great ideas for my lighting needs. I think they would have done an impeccable job.

Jason is simply the man. I'm always excited to see him. He loves his job, loves to explain what he's doing, loves to make people happy. And the guy is always 5 minutes early. I think he's part alien, because what contractor does that? This was my 2nd pretty big job for Jason, he and his uncle were here the entire day. I was comfortable leaving him to work in my home while my husband and I went to work. We emailed the details of the job a few days before, and when he arrived (early!) he showed me the materials he purchased, I showed him the materials I purchased, and we were good to go. When I came home, Jason gave me the tour of everything he did, and made sure I loved everything. Not one thing on my list was left off. I had to wipe away a few tears at the sight of my new recessed lighting. Absolutely transformed the space. Settling the bill was pleasant, with no surprises. All around happiness!

Jason and Stephen did an outstanding job. They were very careful and considerate about setup and cleanup, and were thoughtful about the installation process. They ensured that the wall switches and plates with best capabilities were the ones installed, and ran out to purchase light bulbs to ensure that right type were used. They set expectations in advance about the need for spackling and paint afterward, but also choose to drill inside closets wherever possible to minimize drill marks. They made it clear that customer satisfaction was important to them.

I spoke with Jason because I was thinking of placing recessed lighting in my living room. He really knew his stuff and was very professional. He explained my options, gave me an estimate and followed up a week later to see if I had any questions. Although I decided not to do the job but to stick with my floor/table lamps I would definitely use his services in the future should the need arise.

Jason himself and another gentleman came to fix a ground wire, address some loose wires on the roof, and fix a light switch. After I showed them all of the issues, they informed me of their pricing and about how much time they expected to take, which seemed reasonable and fair. They stuck to their timing and completed the work cleanly and efficiently. Jason also informed me that if the wind ever knocks the wires on the roof out of place again, to call the cable company which will charge less than electrician, which I thought was very respectful of him. I definitely plan to call Jason again for any electrical needs that may come up in the future.

Jason and Stephen Klein were extremely friendly and professional and easy to deal with. I appreciated their responsiveness and punctuality, which is often hard to find in people. They respected our house during the initial visit and gave me good advice while listening to my requests. Their quote came very quickly and we set up the work date on their calendar. I was able to choose my dimmers and fixtures, and they bought exactly what I wanted. On the day of the job, they kept me informed, asked me to confirm some items, were super clean, and followed up that night. We are happy to recommend them and would use them again if needed.

I was having problems with the under cabinet lights in the kitchen - one worked, one stopped working, and the other worked off and on. I didn't know if it was the lights or an electrical issue. I sent Jason Klein an e-mail explaining the problem. I received a call that same day, spoke to both Jason and his brother Steven about the lights, and set up an appointment to get an estimate. They confidently diagnosed the problem (it was the lights) and provided different options (fix the lights, replace with xenon lights or LED lights or LED tape lights) and estimates for the job. There was no pressure to make an on-the-spot decision. I mulled it over, decided to go with the LED lights (and some dimmer switches too) and scheduled an appointment to complete the job. The lights look great. I only wished I had contacted them sooner. I should mention that they arrived on time for both appointments and were friendly, yet professional, and a pleasure to work with. Everything that you would hope for in a contractor - courteous, friendly, reliable, responsive, knowledgeable - you will find with Jason and Steven. I would highly recommend them for your electrical needs.

Very professional and responsive - installation was discussed in detail as they were working on the job - excellent back and forth to makes sure my preferences were determined. Followed up after the job was complete to see if all was well - very unusual. Also worked well with email and texting as I was in NYC for both jobs.

I needed an electrician to run two electrical lines for air conditioning that I was having installed. I read reviews on Angie's List and Jason Klein Electrical stood out. I contacted Jason and he and his brother Stephen came out to evaluate the scope of the job and provide an estimate. They were extremely knowledgeable, competitive in price, and very customer-focused. So, I awarded them the job and I'm glad I did. Shortly after, we scheduled the install day. Jason and Stephen showed up promptly and walked me through what they were going to do. They worked extremely efficiently and the job went off without a hitch. Without question I will use them again and I strongly recommend anyone looking for a responsible, conscientious electrician give them a try.

I can't say enough good things. I called Jason about installing a bath fan/light, and after I described our bathroom and the layout of our home, he was able to give me a quote over the phone. He even looked at some photos of our bathroom via text message to offer guidance about where and how to install the fan. He explained the scope of work that would need to be done to ensure the fan is GFCI protected and vented properly. He also gave us the option of purchasing the fan ourselves, and gave us some advice about what types of bath fan to buy. Jason's brother, Stephen also provided us with a written proposal via e-mail, which we were able to review and e-sign in advance. Jason and Stephen were able to schedule the work about a week and a half after I reached out to them. They showed up exactly when they said they would, and were very courteous, professional, and friendly. They gave me two types of switches to choose from, and completed the bath fan installation carefully and efficiently. When they were done, they showed me where the fan vented to the outside of our home. The fan/light, the switch, and the exterior vent all look and work great! They left our home as clean as it was when they arrived. Overall, a wonderful experience with this friendly, honest, highly skilled electrician. We will definitely be calling Jason for any future electrical needs.

Excellent! Have used these guys before at my prior house. They are extremely professional and friendly, take the time to fully explain everything, and are very responsive and responsible. Jason and Stephen Klein were very responsive to my call about an electrical inspection for a medical device. They were able to schedule an appointment within a couple of days and arrived promptly. Jason also talked with the device company's technical service group to determine the exact electrical needs. A suitable, less costly solution was determined. These guys are wonderful. They came out originally to take a look back in April and they were running late that today but they kept me informed so I knew what was going on and I appreciated that. They did the work about a week ago and it was great. They were right on time and I love how they explained everything to me. Quote for work and materials was fair and was given over the phone during initial call which saved time and hassle. During the work they explained everything and answered many electric questions that had nothing to do with the particular job. They also took the time to look and explain some electrical issues I had that didn't necessarily mean more money for them. They easily spent an additional hour "tutoring" me on different ways to handle electric issues in my house. The extra time spent, showed that these guys care about their service and building an honest reputation.

They responded quickly to my initial email inquiry (through this website). Exchanged phone numbers, we talked and I explained our problem. Jason immediately had a suggestion for fixing the problem, explained why we probably have the problem. We arranged a date and time for the work to be done, then I talked with his brother about the financial details. I was given a quote for the whole project, labor and materials, gave a deposit over the phone. They showed up on time to do the work, had all of the materials, were careful to put down work cloths on the wood floor, and within about an hour the work was complete. I was also able to have them install a new dimmer switch, as the new lights are brighter than the old ones. I was very pleased with the whole experience and would definitely use them again.
