"Jason and company were a joy to have work on our Koi Pond. He was very knowledgeable on the subject and made many helpful recommendation as I am a novice on the subject I was very grateful. He went out of his way to inform me what I should do in the future to keep it clean and healthy for the fish, not what he could do but what I could do, just the type of service provider you want.. And he cleaned up after himself leaving the area cleaner then when he started. Makes you want to have him back to do other jobs. I would highly recommend him"

"Phenomenal! Damian and two of his employees got right to work promptly at their arrival time. It was laborious work removing concrete and large border rocks. All materials were hauled away. The work was in my front yard, and the area was left neatly completed. Thanks again, Damian."

Fountains questions, answered by experts

One of the most important parts of building a pond is digging the right depth. Your pond needs to be at least one to two feet deep. The specifics of the depth will depend on factors such as the placement of the pond and whether you plan on having fish. If you have fish in your pond, it will need to be at least two feet deep.

Even if you empty your pond before the winter, there’s a good chance it will refill naturally. It’s ideal in most cases, then, to leave water in your pond and winterize it instead. This method will prevent ice damage and protect wildlife. Plus, it’ll lessen the steps required to reopen your pond in the spring.

In addition to length and width, pond liners also come in various thickness levels. Thickness is measured in mils, a unit of measurement equal to one-thousandth of an inch, with most pond liners ranging from 15 to 60 mils in thickness. The smaller the number, the thinner (and weaker) the liner. To prevent rips and tears, it’s best to choose a pond liner that’s at least 30 mils thick.

Pond installation costs typically range from $1,500 to $10,000. The final price depends on several factors, including the pond's size, the materials used, excavation requirements, and any additional features such as waterfalls, lighting, or specialized habitats for fish like koi.

Natural swimming pools are designed to deter pests, including mosquitoes. While any body of water can potentially attract pests, the natural filtration system keeps the water clean and constantly moving. Mosquitoes specifically are attracted to standing water, so the continuously circulating water in a natural pool makes it an inhospitable environment for them.
