Called the office on a Monday to schedule an appointment for an estimate. Spoke with Kathy, the office manager who is wonderful to work with, and was told that Bob would be out that early afternoon to check and provide the estimate for a completely new HVAC system. CARRFORD installed the old high efficiency Lennox system years ago and it was working fine, but I felt it time to invest in a new system as that unit was approaching 20 years of age. Bob offered two solid brands of systems, Lennox and a Rheem. Both are very good systems and I have had them in the past. Bob explained the details of the two and I chose the Rheem. I asked about an installation date and was told the following Monday and Tuesday. The installation team and Bob came out on Friday to complete the measurements and review the install. On Monday, the team came out and began their work. The gentlemen were courteous and clean. Each worked professionally throughout the two days till completion. A third gentleman joined them on Tuesday to help with the cleanup. Bruce showed me how to work the new thermostat and all was done. Bob came out the next day to review everything and complete the rebate forms for the New Jersey Clean Energy rebates. As Bob left, his comment was that if I ever have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to call. I am happy with that statement for in the past and now, when I call, a real person answers the phone, usually Kathy---not a machine. And their response time is great as well. One day I called several years ago when my ac unit didn't go on. Within 10 minutes, a tech was out to fix it---a loose wire. I can't say that will happen every time but I was floored when it did. Overall, I have had no complaints and have suggested CARRFORD services to three other families who used them for new installations and service. A yearly reminder for both heating and ac service is mailed and I use them for such services. They are clean, prompt, and professional---a credit to the profession!
