Specializing in chain-link, vinyl, wood, pvc, and guardrail. Very experienced & hard working, dedicated to a quality job and to the happiness of customer. Tree service specializing in pruning, whole tree removal, and lot clearing. Tree and brush removed from site in a proper fashion. There are only two workers along with myself. I work along side my workers at all times. Reasonable rates and quality performance are the foundation of my company. Please book for spring 2022 install as soon as possible all material is available at fence supplier right now. Vinyl or pvc solid privacy last year 4-6 weeks wait time available now Aluminum fence panels 4’ 54” by 6’ long 8’ long 6-8 weeks wait time last year in stock now. Chain link 4’ 5’ 6’ in stock now available year round. Cedar wood panels, post 5-8 weeks wait time last year in stock now.

We changed the placement of the fence just before install and Rob had no problem accommodating the new placement either. Kept us informed of all the steps along the way and got the whole project done in 3 days. Our dog now has the room to run and roam and our yard looks fantastic. Thanks Rob!"

If you’re trying to keep your dog from running away, an electric fence isn’t the only fence type for your yard worth considering. The cost of dog fences can range from $1,500 to $8,000, with popular materials including wood, vinyl, or aluminum to keep your pet safe and sound. 

If you’re trying to keep livestock in their pasture, other fencing options include woven wire, high-tensile wire, and synthetic fencing. These options give your animals boundaries without the use of electricity. 

Privacy fences in residential neighborhoods tend to stand between 6 and 8 feet tall, but local building code usually dictates the maximum height. Livestock fences that border large land plots range from 3 to 6 feet. Shorter, decorative fences, which are common in front yards, are around 3 feet tall, on average. Fence height also tends to vary by material, with wood fences usually sitting at 6 feet tall, and chain-link and wrought iron fences tending to sit at half that.

The most durable metal for a fence is wrought iron. With proper care, a wrought iron fence can last for centuries. This means regular resealing to stave off rust and corrosion, especially in coastal climates with salty sea air. In these environments, chain link and corrugated fencing tend to stand up better to the elements with fewer maintenance needs.

You can use pressure-treated wood for a horizontal fence, but you’ll need to purchase a thicker and higher-quality variety to ensure it doesn’t sag or warp after you install it. Use #2 pine grade lumber and boards and thicker dimensional lumber, such as a two-by-six. You’ll also need to use stainless steel or hot-dipped galvanized fasteners, as the chemicals in the treated lumber will cause regular galvanized fasteners to rust. 

While there’s no hard evidence to support this idea, driveway gates at least provide an additional obstacle that may deter crime. After all, a would-be burglar or trespasser would have to break into the gate and the property itself. The extra work could encourage them to move onto a house without a driveway gate.
