While growing up, Tyler worked construction for his dad, which is how he became familiar with the construction and design industries. Tyler attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha and installed window treatments for a local company part time while attending college. After graduating he worked in the design and window treatments industry for 2 years before starting this company. “A lot of my inspiration to start this company came from my father. He has always been committed to great customer service, always going above and beyond to give the best experience possible to his customers. I saw that lacking here in Omaha and decided to jump on the opportunity. In doing so, I hope to help realize the dream homes for as many families as possible.”

"Horrible customer service and the product is only getting worse over time. I have ordered 16 shutters from them over 5 separate orders during the last two years. A recent order late last year came with parts missing and getting replacement parts was a hassle because I had to provide pictures. How do you provide pictures of missing parts? My most recent order arrived without the mounting strips and blocking strips being pre-drilled. I received the screws and screw covers but no holes for them. After multiple back and forth with "Angie" from customer service I was forwarded a poorly spelled response from their supplier stating "usually" they don't pre-drill holes. Usually? All of my other shutters over the last two years were pre-drilled. I was then told it was my fault because this order was a single panel shutter vs all my previous orders being dual shutters and I would have to pay to get replacement strips with pre-drilled holes in them. What does a single vs a dual shutter have to do with whether or not holes are drilled in hanging and blocking strips?"
