It went great just as expected. My daughter and I cruised the aisles looking for what we needed and were approached 3 times by employees to see if we needed help! I can't say how happy I am that our store employees go way above and beyond even offering to load my wheelchair for my daughter. That's just good manners and something you just can't find any more. I commend Lowes and their employees especially at this location.
Description of Work: Lowes is my favorite store. I just love it! If you have a question, you can always find someone who knows the answer or can find someone who does. It's great and I could stay there all day. The ideas they give me are infinite and if I could afford it, I would be there weekly. I was buying plumbing supplies on my last visit and cleaner.

My 19-month-old, top-of-the-line Whirlpool front loading washing machine began making an awful noise during its spin cycles, a friend suggested that the bearing might be out. I went to Lowe's Home Improvement in Southport, where I had purchased it, and spoke with the asisstant manager, Crystal Webb. Though my year-long warranty had expired, she agreed that the machine was still too new to have such a major part go out. With the help of Ruth Muncy, another very sympathetic employee, arrangements were made for a service person to come to my house and determine exactly what the problem was. The service person came and verified that the problem was indeed the bearing. He suggested that the repair would probably run about $1,300 for parts and replacement labor. Ruth negotiated with Whirlpool, and though they didn't suggest replacement of the machine, they sent all of the new parts directly to my home without charge. The Lowe's service people set up an appointment with A and E appliance repair to come and replace the parts. Unfortunately, after setting up a time to come out, A and E and quot;disqualifiedand quot; the appointment without contacting Lowe's or me. They then contacted Cape Fear Appliance Repair, and the replacement of the major parts were completed with the ingenuity of the service man, Brian, who invented a way to access the washer inasmuch as no one was available to help him take the stacked dryer down. Unfortunately, the charge for the labor turned out to be $260 more than the original labor estimate. When I reported this to Lowe's they made a very generous offer to pay for part of the cost. I was very impressed with the way Lowe's came to my aid. It was service above and beyond what I was expecting. I am a steadfast customer and big fan of Lowe's, and particularly Crystal and Ruth.

I was extremely pleased with the entire process. The installers were on time, friendly and very professional. They removed the old carpet and installed new. They were very tidy, hard working and did my entire condo in 10 hrs. I could not be happier and would go to Lowes again!
Description of Work: I bought new carpet over the phone. Lowe's salesperson was extremely helpful by explaining the entire process and was pleasant to work with.

Unfortunately, we have had several mishaps with the refrigerator and the dishwasher but I have to give them their due, because when I call, they do come out, they order the parts and install them without any muss or fuss. They are good. We are currently waiting for them to come back with the parts. We like the store, the people are nice there, the manager is great, and he tries to make things right, anytime anything goes wrong. He is the head of the store, he is really nice person, and he takes his job seriously. He doesn't blow me off like a lot of times with these big box stores, but that is not how it is here.
