Description of Work: Sized 5 gold and silver rings by one size. Answered questions about those pieces of jewelry and others. They were very professional and helpful. I will definitely go back again.

Description of Work: I had two gold pendants that I had purchased elsewhere made into a pair of earrings. The jeweler soldered posts to the back of each pendant. They were very accommodating and professional; price was very reasonable and the work was excellent. The earrings were ready in a couple of days as promised. I will definitely go back to The Jewelry Stop.

Description of Work: I am so disappointed with my experience with this business. I took my husband's watch in for repair last November. They said they would call and let me know what was wrong with it and how much repairs would cost me before they proceeded. I never heard from them. I called them in January and they said they were just waiting on the repair parts from Citizen and that they would call me as soon as it was done. I never heard from them. I called them in February and they said they were still waiting on the parts and would call me back as soon as the parts came. I never heard from them. I called them in March and they said that they had sent it to Citizen and that it was going to be several hundred dollars to repair it. The gentleman on the phone said that he would see what he could do for me because it had taken so long, etc, and that he would call me back on Monday to let me know. Again, I never heard from them. Finally, two weeks ago, I went into the store in person to get this resolved. The gentleman that helped me at the store said that he was the one who had spoken with me on the phone, and that he was sorry he had just let it fall through the cracks, and hadn't called me or done what he said he would. I asked him to please just have Citizen return the watch, and he said he would, and that he would definitely call me when it arrived. I still haven't heard from him....... This process has taken 8 months, and I still don't have the watch back, nor is it working. I'm sure not all customers have this type experience, or they couldn't possibly still be in business. I'm just incredibly disappointed that they haven't cared enough to follow through and do what they said they would. I'm wondering if they lost the watch and are just hoping I will give up and quit asking about it. I have not had such a terrible experience with a business in a very long time, and never with one that had great reviews on Angie's List. This is the first time that I have written a negative review for a business that I've found using Angie's List. I will never do business with this company again.

Description of Work: When my vintage Rolex needed repairs, I knew that I would have a problem finding a qualified jeweler who could fix it because of the difficulty in getting parts for it and the intricacy involved. When I went to the 'Jewelry Stop' and spoke to the owner Stan, he reassured me that he could have it fixed. Eventhough it took several weeks, It was worth the wait.. I couldn't be more satisfied and thrilled to have it working and looking great. Stan and Michelle are pleasant people to deal with and a pleasure to work with.
