We called Roby Electric on Thursday evening when the office was called. The answering service was friendly and professional. When I spoke to the office Friday morning, they were able to set up an appointment the same day at 3:30. Brent called at 10:30 indicating he was in the area and his service call ended earlier than expected. He asked if he could start early. He appeared within 15 minutes, then spent several hours determining where the problem was, and was able to fix it without a problem. He then cleaned up thoroughly. Brent was wonderful to work with.

Provided electrical wiring and switch inside upstairs attic to hang a 'dusk to dawn' light over garage. they were on time, very professional. he tested my light to ensure it would work. performed work quickly and without a mess

Installation went very well...quickly. no issues/concerns.

Roby Electric...Audra who is the administrative receptionist made me feel safe and welcome. She answered the phone by the third ring and assured me that their employees understand the electrical challenges of a 1947 Condo structure. She told me Jimmy would be the Electrician servicing my account and he understood Edison electricity...which is fuses! He surveyed my electrical outlets and crawled underneath my home searching for shorts in the wiring and improper wiring. Conclusion is that I need a system upgrade! I was well aware that I needed an upgrade when I had a new heat pump installed by Sears however the project manager decided I did not need the upgrade...two new appliances and now I need the upgrade. Patrick, General Manager, came right out to my home to provide the estimate for my power upgrade. I trust Roby completely and they will be awarded the project.

We received an Big Deal email about Roby and a roof fan installation. We had been talking about a roof fan for some time and the price was the best we'd seen, so we bought the deal. I called Roby later that day, and they had an appointment set up by the next morning. However, they called back later that day to say that they had over-booked that day, and would I mind a later installation. Later meant only 2 days, and was still in my "They can do it that soon?" time frame, so I said that was fine.The employee who came to install the fan was polite, professional and prompt. He placed the fan high enough to do its job and still be out of sight from the street. He made sure we had the proper wiring to run the fan, set the thermostat, and gave us a way to shut the fan off during the winter -- which was something we really wanted to be able to do. He cleaned up everything, took all the "debris" with him, and we were very pleased. I would do business with Roby again. they are very people oriented.

The only issues was the repair person appearing four hours early, but he did the job quickly.

Chris arrived on time, was very professional and worked quickly while still maintaining a conversation with me! He was meticulous in his work, measuring and aligning, making sure the end result was a good and lasting one.

I was able to get an appointment within 24 hours of my call to request service and use the special coupon offered through Angie's List. Trey called prior to the appointment stating he was running early and could he come earlier than the appointment time. We agreed on a time that was best for me. He was very punctual & installed a surger protector on the main electrical panel to the house. He then showed me the changes made in the electrical panel and how to ensure the protector was operating properly. After that, he went through the house and checked outlets, tightening them as needed. He completed the work adeptly and neatly. I will use this company again and ask for Trey. What better recommendation is there?

The outlet for the washing machine fell off a concrete wall in the basement. We could not reattach the outlet. I called Roby Electric and they said someone would be out the next day at 2:30. The technician called at 2:15 because he was running late from the previous job. He arrived at 2:45. He could not reattach the outlet to the concrete wall so he attached it to a wooden rafter over the washing machine. He also volunteered to reattach the outlet for the dryer, which I didn't think needed to be done yet. He was there 30 minutes. I had printed a coupon for $20. off any service call over $100. The technician told me their rate was $115. per hour. He thought that it would only be charged for the half hour, so the coupon might not work, but he took it anyway. The bill arrived, for $115. minus the $20. coupon. The work was very good, and I was impressed with the knowledge of the technician, but I am a bit disappointed that I was charged for a full hour when he was only there for half an hour. If I had known that, I would have let him reattach the other oulet, so I could get my hour's worth! I will still call them if need be, but only for work that might take closer to an hour to complete.

They were quite good. They are highly qualified and they did good work; I was very satisfied with the work they did. They were professional, they took the work seriously, and they did a good job. They do what they say they are going to do and they are reliable.

They were able to come to do the job within a day or two of my call. They had all the necessary equipment to complete the job and were very pleasant and professional. It took them about an hour to complete the work.

Start to finish was excellent. They were a couple delays on scheduling, but the work I was having done was not emergency work. Hence there was no angst on my end.

I contracted Roby based on the recommendations I read on Angie's List to add ground wires to 10 outlets in my house. Patrick came out and surveyed the work, then promptly emailed me a quote. Chris called to say they were on the way. They arrived on time, completed the work and were absolutely one of the most professional, responsible, responsive companies with which I've ever worked. I even added a small wiring job to the scope of the project while they were working, and it was no problem for them. I would use this company again and definitely recommend them without hesitation.

Our AC was not functioning correctly. The AC man told us that the breaker needed to be replaced. We call Roby Electric and they responded immediately. The two young men who came to the house were polite and professional. They went right to work and had the breaker replaced in a matter of minutes. I was ready to pay them and they told me that the service would be billed. We received the bill the next week and were surprised at how low it was. (No we didn't get an estimate, we needed the repair to be done before the holiday weekend.) Needless to say we will use Roby again.

He installed ceiling fan and Lighting. It was a good experience.

A tee fell and ripped my electrical connexion from the back of my house. Patrick sent Justin out within 1.5 hours of my call to replace the electrical riser (and brought it up to code on my 1958 house). Justin had to retrieve appropriate materials - upon his return he was quick and efficient, professional and congenial completing the job, including cutting through the house overhang to put the riser to code up over the roof.

I had a coupon so I got 2 fans for $75 with installation. They were very good. They were thorough and did a good job. They were clean and cleaned up after themselves. They went over everything before they started off.

From start to finish it was a good experience. The office was very helpful and the electrician arrived on time after first calling. He did a fast and very clean job with the installation. I definitely recommend Roby Electric.

Justin arrived on time and performed the job with professionalism. He answered all my questions about surge protection and recommended additional surge protectors for my telephone and satelite antenna system. When I asked a question about the power supply to my boat dock, he was willing to check it for me, although it was not related to the purpose for the service call. Justin, and Roby Electric in general, are very customer service oriented. Recommend Highly. WSA

They arrived when they said they would. They called to verify that I would be at the church to open the doors. The two men were very polite and professional. All the work was done in a timely manner and done correctly. I was very impressed with the folks that are working for this company and surely would call them again for our electrical needs.

Trey and Chris called to confirm time as arrival. They were neat, fast, and helpful, didn't waste time. I will definitely ask for them again.
