Very pleased with the overall experience and would use them again or recommend them to someone needing top notch electrical work.

Needed to have an exterior outlet installed on our screened in deck (was originally attracted to this company due to the $99*** for 2 hours of licensed electrician services).Scheduling the appointment was easy.The technician showed up on time and finished the work inside of two hours -- net we had additional time left over...We asked the technician to look at an existing exterior outlet that had stopped working -- he fixed in no time.Couldn't be happier - will definitely recommend them / use them in future.*** the $61 difference ($160 vs. $99) represented the cost of the new hardware and some vinyl siding finishing work needed around the new outlet.

Arrived early, performed work as described in estimate, was very quick, very clean and unheard of professionalism. My wife now has Roby Electric on speed dial.

The two gentleman came out and did a fine job. They were on time (actually earlier than appointment) and pleasant. They fixed all the issues that I was encountering.

The closest wall outlet required extension cords for table lights which were so tacky. He was very polite, punctual and did a fabulous job. Highly recommend this very skilled electrican.

My grandson broke one of the blades on his bedroom fan so I had to replace it. I was taking my time replacing it and then I received a promotion from Angie's with this really good deal from Roby Electric to replace TWO ceiling fans for $75.00. I bought the deal and then bought 2 ceiling fans and called Roby Electric. Within a week, I had the broken one replaced and a new one in the guest room that matched the decor far better than the original. I am very happy with the prompt service, the skilled technicians and especially the price.

We used the deal of the day on this, and the provider was punctual, did what we asked, and cleaned up after himself. Very happy with result.

The tech showed up on time, did his thing and let us know when he was done. we simple and easy from our side of things.

Update: After posting the review, I was contacted by Roby and was impressed with their response to my situation. Must have have been a bad apple and would use again because of how they responded. ______ It took three attempts for for someone to finally install an attic fan for me. I was given a time frame for the first appointment (on a Sat). I had not heard from anyone confirming if they were coming, so I called and learned that no one would be coming because there was rain in the area (although not at my house). Okay, I understand not wanting to be on a roof if there's a chance of rain....but how about a call? Second appt was set for a Monday morning two weeks later at 8:30 am I actually got a call they were running late saying they had to pick up some caulk...I'm okay with that. You called. Then I waited....and waited....got a call 30 minutes AFTER they 'late time' telling me they were at my home. Turns out they weren't at my house but at some other address across town. So I made another appt the following Monday at 7:30 am. So, 7:30 came and went Monday morning for the 3rd attempt at installing an attic fan. I called Roby at 8:00 asking if someone was coming, got a call back saying they were on their way. The installer Sean or Shawn showed up after 8:30. I asked him if he knew the appt was at 7:30 and he responded that he doesn't get to the office until 7:30.... Not, I'm sorry.....had more of a 'not my fault' or 'I don't care attitude'. Nice. Wanted to turn them back at this point but the price on the attic fan was good enough to deal with this for me. Sean had another installer with him who was pleasant enough but Sean seemed annoyed he was there at all. Once they were there, installation fairly quick. I asked a couple relevant questions such as...Is there a warranty with the equipment, leaks, etc?? Again he seemed annoyed and couldn't give me a definite answer. C'mon, really? I will not reccomend Roby again. Funny, because I had others in the neighbohood that wanted the same deal. They were not punctual, not friendly (installer Sean), and not knowledgable. They only had my business because of the price and with good reviews here on Angies List I gave them the benefit of doubt.

My overall experience with Roby Electric was very positive. The estimator was punctual and walked through all the items I wanted completed. I was happy to learn that they would move a cable outlet as other electricians had told me no. In the master bedroom I wanted to drop pendants on each side of the bed instead of using table lamps. I thought this might not be easy to do because I have a 3 angle change to my tray ceiling and there is a heating/air conditioning register close to where I wanted one of the pendants installed. The estimator checked the attic and assured me there was room to work. He also assured me that all of the work could be done without any drywall damage to my walls. This was music to my ears as just a few months before, I had another electrician make a huge mess of my walls when he was installing a couple additional outlets (horrible experience!). The morning of my appointment, 2 electricians showed up promptly and went to work. Along the way we had a couple issues, but everything was fixable, so I didn't stress about it. The first was when they were installing an additional outlet in my office/spare bedroom. They did a little drywall damage but told me it could be covered with a 3 outlet box (versus the 2 outlet box they had intended to use) and would that be all right with me? I said yes, because I was actually relocating my computer equipment to that wall and having 3 outlets worked out better for me. The second issue occurred when they were doing the wiring in the master bedroom. I have speakers in the ceiling and one of the electricians accidentally stepped on it when he was in the attic and it popped out of the ceiling and did a little drywall damage to my ceiling. He let me know immediately and then called his office and they scheduled a drywall repair person to come out and fix it. Again, a minor issue and they resolved it and I am fine with that. The work took them longer than both they and I had expected (they were here 8 hours), but I had confidence that everything was getting done correctly. They were even accommodating when, after installing the chandelier in the master bedroom, I asked if they would go back and remove the dangling (removable) finials since I didn't like the look of them (after I told them yes, please put them on). I did have to call the company and have them come out a few days later because the phone line they installed (for the computer modem) didn't work. I didn't realize this until the weekend when I finally got around to moving all the computer equipment from one side of the room to the other. And since they were coming back out for that, I asked if they would drop the pendants a little lower using one of the included extension rods, because I felt they were too high. Turns out that the polarity of the phone line was reversed and that was easily fixable. Dropping the pendants was a little more involved because the electrician said the other electrician who did the installation didn't leave any additional wire in the pendants, so he had to fix that. Since that was my call, meaning I should have told then to lower the pendants when they were doing the initial installation, I fully expected to be charged for that, but I wasn't. That left me pleasantly surprised! All in all, a good experience and I will use them again in the future.

I cannot say enough good about Roby Electric. Before I hired Roby, I had tried another electrician who also had come highly rated from Angie's List. Besides needing a wall outlet installed and a thermostat moved, I had acquired what smelled like an electrical odor in my bedroom. I had problems with the first electrician from the git-go ... beginning with a scheduling fiasco, not being able to move my thermostat and being very ho-hum about diagnosing the possible electrical odor. I then called Roby Electric,. They promptly sent out one of their electricians who installed a surge protector on my main electrical panel, which took about 45 minutes. He came out again the following day and within an hour, he had my thermostat moved, two hanging lights installed, and had checked several of the electrical wall outlets to see if he could determine if the cause of an intermittent odor was electrical (by then, the odor had become so slight that it was hard to detect it). He then called Brian, the owner, who came out and together they tried to determine if the cause and source of the odor. This turned out to be a very tricky problem to solve, and Brian and another electrician had to make several trips to my house. It was very frustrating, but Brian stuck with it and insisted that if there was an electrical problem, they would find the source and fix it. Brian and the other electricians were friendly, professional, efficient and top notch electricians. They really WANT to do a good job and without cutting corners. Their rates are competetive and reasonable. I will continue to use Roby Electric and recommend them highly.

Complements to Russell for calling to see if he could come earlier then the scheduled appointment, working very efficiently and correctly diagnosing/repairing all the problems we had with our internal light switch wiring. The job was more extensive then I originally called in but he was able to complete all work in exactly two hours. Very pleased with both the work completed and overall cost. I would definitely call Roby Electric for any future electrical needs.

There was a special for them on Angie's List. The young fellows that came out were just very polite. They were very work-oriented and a fabulous job. It could not have been a better job. I was very happy with them. The price was very reasonable. They came on time and did the work quietly without putting radios on and things like that. They were very professional.

Waiting on a bid after going through the house completely after surge protector installation and finding that second fuse is also out of codes installation.

The technician was prompt and courteous. He explained to me how the unit was going to go in and once is, advised me on the appropriate temperature to set the unit to come on, so that it would not be on all the time in the summer but also still protect my roof. The installation went smoothly and was done in about 2 hours. I am looking forward to having a cooler attic this summer and hopefully lower electric bill as well.

Unfortunately the carriage light was put in by the previous homeowner incorrectly and we couldn't trace the wire so we gave up on that. It would be a whole other project to get it working. But the outlets were a snap and it has its own breaker switch so i am very happy. Jimmy was very nice and professional and cleaned up after himself when he was done. I would definitely use them again.

Since they did an hour's work for the hour charge, I am now completely satisfied with Roby and would gladly call them again for electrical work.
