My name is Melodi. I am grateful to be blessed with the ability to clean, clear clutter and create organizational systems for those who are not gifted in that area. In addition to being a natural clutter buster, I am also extremely gifted in the areas of: spacial management and curation, creative problem solving, design and color theory, art installation, handy (wo)man projects, intuitive counseling, compassionate listening, as well as all kinds of other random, fun skills and abilities. In a nut shell, I'm a Jill of all trades. I have been clutter busting and cleaning for other people for fun as long as I can remember. I was the magical ten year old that came over for a play date and ended up cleaning out your child's closet and organizing all of her barbie doll clothes. It has taken me until the age of 31 to realize that what I did for fun as a child is actually one of my true callings in life. I am still driven by the same innate desire to help myself and others realize that we are all loved and that we all deserve clean, clutter free, stress free environments to create, play, work and rest in. My services are NOT intended to promote, facilitate or enable perfectionism. For example; If you are looking for a personal organizer to whisk your home into perfection so you can finally host the neighborhood holiday party and show everyone just how “put together you are”, then I am not the gal for you. I can not fix or change your life for you. You are the only person that can change your life. I can give you love, support, guidance and the tools that may or may not help you make that decision for yourself. I am not going to pressure you or make you get rid of anything that you are not ready to part with. If you just toss everything out with out processing it first, then you will likely re-accumulate loads more of clutter within a few weeks or months and be right back where you started. The root of physical clutter is mental clutter. I approach my work based on this idea and I do it with a loving, nonjudgmental presence. It is important to me to help you cultivate compassion and understanding for your self and your clutter, no matter how large or small the pile is. It is there for a reason and that is ok. You don't have to beat your self up over it any longer. You are not your clutter. You are a wonderful person full of love and light and your clutter has just stopped by to deliver you some messages, and when you get them it will go away. Your clutter is like a credit card company that calls you constantly to pay your past due bill. Your house is the voice mail box and your clutter has left you a message in it. If you delete the messages with out listening to and responding to them (toss everything in the dump with out a second thought), then, like an angry bill collector, your clutter will call you over and over again, leave more messages and fill up your voice mail box once again. When you let this angry bill collector fill up your voice mail box, then you don't have any space for the new, fun, exciting messages that the universe is so desperately trying to send you. I am here to help you take a deep breath and gather the courage to listen to those messages with an open mind and heart so that you can begin to release the physical attachments that no longer serve you as well as the negative thought patterns that have been holding you back in your life.

Home Staging questions, answered by experts

To stage your home yourself, clean your home thoroughly to sell, leaving it gleaming like a five-star hotel. Less is best—always clear away clutter and anything personal so buyers can focus on the beauty of the rooms. Prospective buyers will check the closets, so investing in a storage space may be necessary.

Move furniture around, mix fabrics and decor, and de-cramp the room by removing any unnecessary furniture. A fresh coat of paint always helps, as do natural features like plants.

Most staging projects take 2-5 days, including furniture arrangement, décor placement, and touch-ups.

It’s always better to stage a home than to leave it empty. Staged homes don’t only sell faster than vacant homes—they also sell for a higher price. A 2018 survey of more than 4,200 professionally staged homes found that most staged homes sold for 6% to 25% more than their unstaged counterparts.

Yes, staging a home really works and can help your home sell faster, potentially for a higher price than if you did not use a home staging service. According to the National Association of Realtors, 48% of seller’s agents reported home staging decreased a home’s time on the market.

Plus, 20% of buyer’s and seller’s agents claimed home staging increased home sale prices by 1% to 5%. Although decluttering and cleaning help a home sell, staging can take your home’s curb appeal to the next level, helping to expedite the process and increase your profit.

While LVP won’t increase home value as much as engineered hardwood, it can increase the value somewhat because it creates a warm and inviting aesthetic. It’s also durable and waterproof, so it can be appealing to homebuyers with pets and children. LVP is very low-maintenance, so that can also appeal to homebuyers who don’t want to spend a lot of time keeping up with an engineered or solid hardwood floor.
