Ibey's started in 1990 as a 2-man sprinkler business. Ernie Ibey, father and founder, started the company with his son Chuck. It was a venture established after Ernie's retirement from teaching. In June 1994 Ernie retired from the sprinkler business as well and his eldest son, Tim, took over working in the business. To this day Ibey's is a family owned and run business where Chuck and Tim can be seen working on projects with the crews. They are joined by sister Dolly the office manager and her husband Fred who serves as the General manager. We are committed to our friends and neighbors of the greater Missoula area. Our founder and Father instilled the company philosophy: A job worth doing is worth doing right.

We are a family owned business with 3 generations of experience. We have 3 nursery/landscape locations: Whitehall, Belgrade & Butte. We have been in business in Montana for 26 years. We have a greenhouse/nursery business where we grow our perennials, annuals, and nursery stock. All of our landscape jobs are created under the direct supervision of the owners. They are always on the jobsite.

The purpose and value of my service is convey ideas and purpose of my Clients (Architects, Designers, Artists, Contractors, Home Owners etc.) into images from 8.5 to 11" to Large format such as Poster Board or Bill Board size for advertisement or demonstration, Video 3D animation also available. SEEIT N 3D before you build it SAVE $ and TIME. My illustrations are the last step before the project becomes a reality. Garden nurseries offer many plants to make your home and garden flourish. In-container plants are one option, including perennials, annuals, and small shrubs or trees. Large hedge plants and roses are called bare-root plants, meaning they have not been potted. Finally, you will see some burlapped plants, typically larger trees and shrubs with burlap wrapping around the bottom.
The best time to plant is between spring and autumn. Springtime weather is typically mild and is when nurseries start to bloom. When the summer weather arrives and it’s hot out, it’s best to avoid planting bare-root plants, but you can still plant many in-container varieties. The first sign of fall is another great opportunity to plant biennials if you live in southern states, or a lovely vegetable garden up north.

While you certainly can provide your landscaper with plants, keep in mind that some nurseries provide discounts to landscaping companies, therefore potentially lowering your materials cost. Beyond the cost of the plants themselves, you need to have additional materials like topsoil and mulch for the project. Most likely, your landscaper can get a discount on these materials as well, so it’s worth speaking with them before making any large purchases.
