Ibey's started in 1990 as a 2-man sprinkler business. Ernie Ibey, father and founder, started the company with his son Chuck. It was a venture established after Ernie's retirement from teaching. In June 1994 Ernie retired from the sprinkler business as well and his eldest son, Tim, took over working in the business. To this day Ibey's is a family owned and run business where Chuck and Tim can be seen working on projects with the crews. They are joined by sister Dolly the office manager and her husband Fred who serves as the General manager. We are committed to our friends and neighbors of the greater Missoula area. Yes, you can custom-color your gravel if you’d like. Use an acrylic- or oil-based paint designed for outdoor use, and apply sealant to protect it from the elements. Most downsides occur when using river rock as mulch in gardens and flower beds. However, you can still incorporate river rocks into your landscape as long as you use them in the correct ways.

Landscape boulders, especially porous stones like sandstone or granite, can crack or break over time. Cracks occur when water seeps into the surface of the stone and freezes. The risk is highest when it rains during the day and temperatures freeze overnight since the moisture has time to penetrate deeper into the rock before expanding.

You should add 1 to 4 inches of mulch, depending on your garden type and needs. Keep in mind that no amount of mulch can completely prevent weeds, but a heavier coverage (closer to 4 inches) can suppress weeds enough that you are only seeing them sprout every few weeks.
