"Very easy to work with! Kept me updated on when they would be at my house. Mike was the one who came to clean my carpets and he whistled while he worked! 😄 He also told me everything he was doing and why. This company stands by their work and are happy to do anything to keep you satisfied. 10 out of 10 👍🏼👍🏼"

Small jobs welcome

"Tim was professional and courteous. He did a great job on my drapes and chair. The drapes are a beast to take down and get clean. Tim from Tegridy did it with minimal fuss. My wing back chair hasn't looked this nice in years. A job well done!"

"Dannilee took time to visit on the phone and came in person to visit my house prior to starting any work to see what was all involved. I appreciated her energetic personality and explanation of what her cleaning style was like. She worked with us for a day and time that would work for me. Dannilee did a great job cleaning, the house smelled amazing when I got home after work. She as focused on providing great dusting and cleaning of the floors and carpets. She's verbalized that she would come back and fix anything that was not up to my standards. Looking forward to her bi-weekly visits to help us keep our house clean. Thank you Dannilee, I recommend her for your housekeeping/cleaning needs."

Carpet Installation questions, answered by experts

A 65-oz. carpet is good, and in many cases, it indicates a premium carpet. Most carpets for homes should fall in the range of 40 to 60 ounces for face weight. If a carpet has a 65-oz. face weight, it is likely more durable and long-lasting than a similar carpet with a lower face weight. Carpet face weight is just one factor in determining a carpet’s quality.

Taking carpet off stairs is an easy but multi-step process you can usually do yourself. If you have the right tools, time, and oomph to finish the job, removing carpet from stairs can be an easy-to-medium difficulty task, depending on your stairs, the type of carpet installed, and how willing you are to get your hands dirty. It’s important to review the process, gather the right tools before you begin, and follow a tutorial or directions while you work.

If you’re using a carpet runner instead of a traditional carpet, pay attention to your width measurements. Instead of measuring the total width of your staircase with 2 added inches for foldover, simply measure the width you’d like the runner to cover. Runners generally come in standard sizes, so you may need to approximate what would look best in your space.

It's best to wait until the newly installed carpet has fully settled and dried before moving furniture back into the room. Your carpet installation professionals can provide guidance on the recommended wait time based on factors such as the type of carpet and adhesive used. Moving furniture back in too soon could damage the carpet or affect its adherence to the floor.

Carpet glue is very sticky, but it's not permanent. The glue usually lasts as long as a typical carpet installation, which is five to 15 years. For the best results, you should always use the right type of carpet glue for the area you're using it in. There are carpet glues for high-traffic areas, which are more high-quality and durable than others.
