The tires purchased from Mathis were Goodyear F1 Eagles for a C5 Corvette. I left the car there, and went to work. First the tires were mounted wrong. For those that do not know about Corvettes, the rear tires are larger and wider than the front, and the Corvette features a traction control system that requires that the tires be replaced on the same side of the axel that they were removed from, or else reprogram the traction control computer as to the new location of the sensors. If either of these methods are not done and the traction control system is turned on when driving the on board computer thinks that the car is in trouble and attempts to gain control by braking various wheels. This will continue until the car is stopped or the traction control is turned off. This is the way it works and is correct for this type and model of car. The tires were marked because of this fact.
So driving off I feel the brakes engage for no reason and I know that one, or both pairs of rims were not replaced where they were removed. No problem, I return to the Collierville Mathis Tire Store and inspect the rims. Sure enough, the 2 front tires had been reversed. They jacked the car and reverse the front rims to their original position. An hour later, I drive off with the traction control system operating properly. Problem fixed.
I decide to get out of the speed trap known as Collierville, Tennessee and find that at 50 there is a bad balance issue and at 65 the car is unsafe to drive. I return to Collierville Mathis, they attempt to rebalance all 4 tires with little or no success. I am told by the Collierville manager that I can go to another Mathis store for satisfaction and I do. I go to Mathis in Olive Branch. The manager there drove the car and confirmed that the balance was totally wrong and he couldn't fix it because he lacked the machine. He suggested I go the Mathis in Southaven on Goodman Road. To their credit, they tried to static balance the tires. Static balance is an old method using a bubble level to put weight on the rim. Okay for lawn mower blades, not good for 200 MPH tires. Little success there but surprisingly, the static balance was better that the employees at the Collierville store could do with a high speed computerized balance machine.
I'm done, finished and will never go to Mathis again. I take the car to a Chevrolet dealership and get it done right, the first time. Then I send a letter to Mathis management to express my concerns. The reply was basically, "Well we're happy we were able to fix your problem". People, unless you have money to burn, don't waste it by allowing rookies to mess up your car. Question them well and insure that the folks doing the work have done it before, and know how to do it. I love the tires, didn't save a dime purchasing them from Mathis, and had to listen to excuses for days. This IS NOT what I paid for, so I choose to spend my money elsewhere..... Many homes in our neighborhood sub have been having the roofs repaired and most completely replaced. Turned out after a few weeks of inspection and sending off the shingles to the manufacturer that it was not hail damage, rather the shingles themselves were the problem. My home is 12 years old and the shingles were construction basic grade that came when my house was built in 2001. It was just a matter of the shingles failing and falling apart, causing some leaking to begin. We decided to re roof the entire house. John came out to give me a detailed estimate including everything from the tear off of old shingles and replacing everything with the high grade 25 year shingles that are the New Dimensional shingles. These are the Architectural shingles that look great and have great results from high winds and storms as they are a high quality shingle with a higher warranty than regular grade. The color that I chose was Rustic Redwood and it looks excellent with the house brick color and trim. The entire process was a great experience. This was my first time having to replace my roof as a homeowner and I must say that Canton Construction and its Owner John Sarnecky made the entire process seamless and also cost effective compared to other quotes I had. I found this company here on Angie's List and the reviews are some of the best in Metro Detroit. I will recommend this company to my neighbors when they need advice or need roof repairs or replacement. Thanks to Angie's List for making this huge project seamless and an overall great experience and quality work which is the bottom line when it comes to home repairs like this..... They are very prompt! They inspected immediately-gave an estimate and completed the work the next day. They were very respectable!
Owner inspected every aspect of our new home. Plumbing, foundation, heating and air, and structure. He let us know what needed work and what needed replaced; he even suggested places with good service and good prices that could get the job done!

FAQs for chimney inspection projects in Union, MS
The average cost for a professional chimney cleaning is around $250, but prices range from $130 to $400 or more, depending on a few factors. Some things that have an impact on your total include the size of your chimney, the number of chimneys cleaned, and how accessible the chimneys are.
The cost to install a fireplace is $2,440 on average. This cost can range from $150 to $8,000 or more, depending on the type of fireplace, the materials used, and the size.
Electric fireplaces cost around $1,000 to install, and mostly only require wiring installation. Installing a wood fireplace from scratch could cost upwards of $10,000, depending on the foundation needed to support the weight of the fireplace. In addition, gas fireplaces can cost between $2,500 and $10,000.
The National Fire Prevention Agency (NFPA) recommends chimney sweeping once per year as a means of avoiding house fires and massive property damage. Over time, creosote and soot build up in your chimney from burning wood and a lack of ventilation. These compounds are both highly flammable, which means a build-up of them inside your chimney puts you at an increased risk of house fire. Chimney sweeping removes any residue and helps reduce the risk of property damage and personal injury from fire.
The cost to remodel your fireplace is $1,200 on average. This cost can range from $400 to $2,000, depending on the extent of work needed.
If you add a hearth to your fireplace, you can expect to pay between $3 and $200per square foot. However, if you're refacing your fireplace, the price tag will depend on your chosen materials. If choosing tile, you can pay between $1 and $50per square foot, depending on the design. Stone is a more expensive material, averaging between $60 and $70 per square foot.
On average, chimney repairs cost about $455. However, because of the vast range of potential repairs needed, the cost to repair a chimney ranges widely from $160 to $15,000, depending on the type and extent of repairs required.
