"The job was done excellently. Very professional service. The people were prompt, highly skilled, and very meticulous with their work. Their services are priced fairly and they listen to their customers. They have a deep knowledge in this area and it shows. If you have flooring needs, you can’t do better than this business in the entire state. They are top notch and the best I’ve seen in the last 25 years of home ownership. I will definitely hire them again."

My name is Rhonda, and I'm just starting my cleaning business. I'm keen to establish a connection. My clientele includes Covington and New Orleans, but I'm open to travel to other cities. My duties include basic housekeeping tasks such as dishes, trash, floors, furniture, and windows. Additionally, I'm available on short notice for after-party cleanup, airbnb cleaning, or any other event that serice may be required.

"Everything went perfectly. The ladies (4 of them!) worked hard and fast. They paid attention to every detail and even taught me a couple of cleaning tricks. I was impressed with the amount of energy and expertise. They brought their own supplies and scoured the house from top to bottom. They did not clean carpets, but that was not in the agreement. The hard floors look better than they have in years. I highly recommend this talented crew!"

Carpet Installation questions, answered by experts

In most cases, laminate flooring is better for people with dust or other allergies as laminate is easier to clean. Carpet can trap pollen and other allergens, allowing them to be kicked up into the air again with foot traffic. Consult your flooring specialist about the best types of carpet or laminate flooring to use based on your household member’s needs.

Yes, nylon carpets are suitable for homes with allergies due to their hypoallergenic properties. Nylon fibers are resistant to mold and mildew growth, minimizing allergen accumulation in the carpet. Additionally, nylon carpets are often treated to repel moisture and stains, further reducing the risk of allergens and promoting a healthier indoor environment for allergy sufferers.

When installing carpeting on your steps, start at the top and work your way to the bottom. That way, you can easily control the carpet and create a better seal. This approach prevents the carpet from bunching up or creating wrinkles as you work. You’ll have better leverage over it as gravity helps guide it down each step.

Yes, carpeted stairs are generally considered safer than stairs with hard surfaces like wood, vinyl, or tile. Carpet provides more traction, which helps reduce the chances of slips and falls, and its cushioning can lessen the severity of an injury if a fall does occur. Hard surfaces often lack the friction needed for a secure tread and can be quite slippery.

However, it's worth noting that some carpets can also be slick, particularly if they are brand new, dirty, or made from certain materials. If any stair surface feels too slippery, traction treads can be added to most materials to increase grip and improve safety.

Carpet tiles come with a preexisting adhesive backing, which means installing them is as simple as peeling off the paper and sticking them down where they need to go. In other words, no. You won’t need to purchase any separate glue to get your carpet squares situated. It’s already built into the carpet tile itself.
