"We first met with Lynne and Dave back in November of 2013 and signed a proposal to paint the exterior of our home.  While we had lower bids from other painting companies, we felt Dave's bid was fair and were very pleased with our first meeting.  We were told at the time it would be at least May of 2014 before they would be able to get to it.  This was okay with us, but we did hope to get some recently-repaired bare wood around the roof line of our home primed and painted before winter weather set in.  Dave had thought he could get to this, but our weather conditions this past winter never allowed enough consecutive dry days and warm temperatures to get this done.  We did use The Painting Company for a small interior job in December (review previously submitted) which we were happy with.  A large painting job this spring in Branson, MO took longer than Dave had expected, so our job was pushed back to June, but Dave and I kept in communication throughout the entire process.
Dave was eventually ready to begin the job in late July, but I had to push the date into August because of some outside patio work being done at the time outside our home.  Dave and his crew began on August 4th and worked every day until completion on the 13th except for a couple of isolated rainy days.  There was a mix-up early on concerning the quality of Benjamin Moore paint we wanted to use, and a slightly lower quality paint was purchased (but still an excellent paint).  Dave more than made up for the mix-up by offering to do some of the repair work and painting a screened-in porch for free.  The porch was going to be an add-on project anyway, so we were more than happy to have this done for free.
In the end, my wife and I were very pleased with The Painting Company's work.  It would have been nice to have it done more quickly, but there were a lot of extenuating circumstances that led to the delays, but the finished product was well worth the wait. Their attention to detail, neatness, professionalism, good communication and quality service would make me use The Painting Company again.

Sandblasting Services questions, answered by experts

There are two ways sandblasting could be dangerous: improper use of the equipment so that the stream touches your skin, and air particles created during the sandblasting process. While the first is easier to avoid and fairly obvious, the second has the potential to be more serious and is much more difficult to understand. This is why you should always hire a pro to sandblast, as they understand the dangers associated with the process. If proper safety measures are taken, then sandblasting is rarely dangerous.

If you’re DIYing the project, it could take up to a week if you aren’t able to dedicate full-time hours. If you hire a professional and they arrive with a team, expect your stairs to be sanded in as little as 2 hours (for simple projects). Finishing the stairs takes a while longer as there are drying and sealing times to consider, but the actual work will take much less time than the sanding portion.

Sand is a common sublayer for hardscape features like driveways, paver patios, and more. Most projects that involve sand require a 1-inch layer to promote evenness, drainage, and weight distribution. For further drainage, most projects have a 6-inch minimum layer of gravel beneath the sand.

Costs depend on surface material, labor, debris disposal, and the type of blasting media used.

Most projects take 1-3 days, depending on the surface area and complexity.
