Customers say: Quality work

"Steve came out to the house and cleared the drain, at least we thought. Once he was gone, the next day it clogged again. Steve had no issue coming back out to make sure the job was done (by the way, I am 30 miles from him). After completing it this time he stayed for a bit to make sure there were no issues. He has great customer service and would recommend him to anyone. Steve will be the first I will call if there is any plumbing needs."

Small jobs welcome

"Company is professional. Pricey compared to alternatives. Said they could deal with plumbing and HVAC, but the tech that showed up, while nice, knew little about plumbing. Did clean water out of furnace lines, but have had this done before paying about a third of the money."

Drain Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Knowing the signs can alert you to a clogged drain line. Clogs cause slow drainage or cause no drainage (if there’s a complete blockage). You may also notice foul odors, gurgling noises, water backing up in other appliances on the same line, or a poorly flushing toilet. If you experience any of these issues and think your line might be clogged, call a plumber.

Clogs in a sprinkler valve can be caused by various factors, including debris in the water supply, sediment buildup inside the valve, or damage to the diaphragm. Debris and sediment can accumulate over time, obstructing the valve's passages and impeding water flow. Damaged diaphragms may develop tears or holes, leading to blockages and affecting the valve's ability to open or close properly. Regular maintenance and cleaning can help prevent and address these issues, ensuring your sprinkler valve operates smoothly.

Professional tools include drain snakes, hydro jets, cameras for line inspection, and enzymatic or chemical cleaners for dissolution.

The spin cycle on your washer should initiate draining, but if you still find leftover water in the washing machine tub, you may need to drain it manually. To manually drain a washing machine, you’ll need to turn off the power supply and locate the drain hose, filter, and pump. Open or disconnect these parts and let the water drain into a bucket.

To unclog the drain pipe, remove the machine's drain hose from the pipe or sink drain, being careful to contain any water in it. Next, use a plunger for sink drains or a plumbing snake for a wall drain. Test the repair by pouring a small amount of water into the pipe before trying it with a laundry load.
