"Mr. Yeagly, we're sorry you are unhappy with the situation. We cleared the line on Sept 19, and performed a camera inspection on Sept 20. You were informed at that time there is a break in your PVC drain line which is allowing root intrusion. In addition to the roots, the broken PVC drain line is adding to the blockage. We simply cannot continue to clear a damaged line under warranty for no fee. The only solution is to replace the line as was recommended to you on Sept. 20. We did not break the line, and our technician was most generous in providing a 30 day warranty in this particular situation. We wish you the best of luck finding another service provider."

"Andrea, thank you for the feedback. We use every interaction as a learning experience and apply the lessons learned to help improve our service system. It's unfortunate you chose to go public with your concerns rather than contacting us directly first. In our response to your initial 4-star review, we even asked you to contact us if you'd like to discuss further. First, we'd like to clarify a few things: The date of the first repair was on 11/6. The second visit was on 11/11. The initial repairs made were correct based on what was discovered on the original visit. The technician who made the second visit believes an additional problem occurred after the first visit. Based on his assessment and years of experience, he recommended a new tankless water heater. Water heaters are the most dangerous appliance in your home because they can cause flooding, fires, and electrocution. We believe in protecting your safety first and foremost. We trust our technicians to make accurate recommendations while working in the field. His belief, based on the situation at hand, was that a "tankless water heater" was the best solution. We know they are significantly more expensive than replacing a tank water heater, but due to the location, the conditions, etc, it was determined this was the solution we felt most comfortable offering. This is one reason why we offer up front pricing, so customers can decide whether or not to have us do the work. We're glad you were able to find an alternative solution for getting it installed. We encourage everyone to please research our reputation, and any other company they might do business with. Over the past 30 years, we have earned thousands of positives reviews, comments, and recommendations. Google has become the Gold Standard of community review sources. You can visit our Google Business Profile at g.page/MasterTechPHC?gm where you will find we are approaching 600 reviews with 4.7/5 star rating. That's equivalent to a 94% approval rating."
